Tom Holland spider man literally has nothing to offer in swinging like other spideys except last 1 or 2 mins swinging which looks like they are forced into the movie and to make it look like a spiderman movie
small but significant thing i loved: the grunts he makes are so on point. it's one major factor that tobey's spider-man did SO well. it makes you feel the strength behind the swings and immerses you a ton. killer job on this
@@Nightlightz-ug1vj i feel that. there’s probably one when they release the full film! i don’t think any other actors “woohoos” have come close to tobeys either. so so good
The fact that you can recreate any fan made battle, idea, or made up scene in an extremely high quality film with smooth as hell animations is just insane man, keep it up!!
I absolutely love the score. It feels like someone coming back from the dead. This Spider-Man is just built different. The swinging and homages are so fluid and phenomenal. How y’all made it look like into the Spiderverse with higher frames is just WOW!
The music, plus the thunder in the background does indeed make it seem like someone has either died or come back from the dead. It just seems like a pissed off spiderman. I really like the atmosphere of this and am excited to watch the full thing.
@@recproductions1261 That argument is shitty. You can say a painting is bad without knowing how to paint, theres a difference between knowing how to do something and knowing when someone looks bad. It's like saying you cant critique someone, ever, at all. It's a lame critique, but it's their opinion, and it's what they think of it, sure it looks shitty to them, doesn't mean they have to make a spider man suit now.
My favorite thing about this is the suit and the eyes especially. It looks polished but rugged and dirty showing wear/use as Spidey looks similarly experienced and inexperienced during the swinging. He appears tired so you can feel the weight of each swing and the grunts sell it as well. Well done!
Spiderman: Reborn is basically showing a spider man fan who has been bitten by a radioactive spider but before that he was normal, he has seen Tobey, Andrew and Tom's spidermen and their suits so after he himself was bitten by a spider he decided to make a suit that is a combination of the three spidermen and hence why he's called the unstoppable spider man
The graphics are very impressive, however the motion could use some work, there's a lack of force/impulse when taking off and swinging, kinda like gravity was lower than it actually is, but I think that rather than making the character move more violently, adjusting the actual characters limbs more would sell it better... As is, it kinda suffers from wirework jumping, which like... Shouldn't be the case being that this is all CG... Anyway obviously this is just being very critical since this is such an amazing clip, truly impressive
I see what you are saying I like it. I did see he was falling kind of slow it would be nice if they let the fall scene last a bit longer while having that wind breaking noise going on that you would hear while falling would add more depth to the scene.
For me, the only thing that felt *off* was his arms. While standing still his arms looked too close together. While running, it didn't look like there was any force while he was pumping his arms.
Dude.... these shots look amazing, and just the way the camera movements and tracking were when he was swinging and change in depth of field was AMAZING, and to op it off, the physics of the swinging looked GREAT!
The framing, blocking, staging - whatever you wanna call it - is SPECTACULAR in this scene. Why? Because I can see where Spider-Man is, and where he is going, and after each cut, I don't lose track of Spider-Man's movement or location. Not as simple as it sounds, especially when conveying so much action, momentum, excitement - great work 🕸 AMAZING ‼️ Bravo 👏🏻
I can tell he was both nervous and excited at first even he has his mask on but then slowly he was getting used to the swing and was enjoying.... The scene looks realistic and humanize as he was rediscovering his power.
this was nothing short of amazing, i'm blown away by everything - the suit, the swinging, the music, the cityscape. i'm so excited to see whats in store for Spidey in this
Whoa! This is AMAZING!!! It looks so realistic and the web swinging is really great. I also love the suit design. It looks a lot like the Tobey suit. I love it and I can't wait for the trailer!😍
Except for the lenses on the mask, which look more like Andrew Garfields. But i can see a mixture of Andrews and Tobey Maguires suit. It has the raised silver webbing on the costume from Tobeys Spider-man suit.
@@GlennThoughts nah bro the visors aren’t anything like Tobey’s. Tobey’s visors are more sharp and they aren’t shaped like a teardrop like the other Spidey’s visors
This suit looks like a good mixture. It has the same raised webbing as Tobey’s and I noticed that the spider logo at the back is identical to the one the classic Spider-Man has and what Tom Holland had at the back of his original Stark Suit in Civil War/Homecoming The visors to me look like Insomniac Spidey’s visors - I though Andrew at first but I realised that his ones are way bigger and don’t have black edges that are as thick as the ones in this vid
Same I damn near cried yesterday seeing them again especially Andrew as I never got to say goodbye to his character. I wasn't a big fan of the mcu spiderman but no way home did a good job and made me like Tom's peter he finally feels like spiderman to me.
The rendering is fantastic and the fluidity is really solid. My only constructive criticism is that at 0:10 the shoulders/chest look a little stiff. Maybe adding a stretching animation would both fix stiffness issue while also adding character and realism to your Spider-Man. Little touches like stretching and micro movements really make CGI feel more realistic. All together though, it's really impressive what you're pulling off and I'm sure the final product will be nothing short of spectacular
I agree, I'll add on to this one, the jump on he ledge lacks a lot of weight. He barely crouches for it and then jumps like 10 ft in the air, I'd add a bit more weight to it by slowing the crouch down and giving it some power.
Dude this is so good! You've developed your own swing style and it seems a lot more aggressive than the others. Please keep working on this project it's great
It looks great! A small suggestion from a scientific point of view: it looks like either Spider-Man is like 1kg or Spider-Man is on Mars. It feels like he only needs to shoot one web and he suddenly accelerating out of nowhere. At certain spots he needs to be more on the ground level yk. You could take Insomniacs physics or TASM2 physics as a reference... Otherwise great atmosphere, great character design, great world design!
@@PatternLand no matter how strong he is, the mass of the body still plays a very important role. Try to think the construction of the web and the body as the pendulum. The Web should be under tension. And you can't feel it in the video. He can only accelerate through fall and web pull out pushing your body forward somehow (for example when Spidey starts to do like a swing kick). And the acceleration feels to be constant. That shouldn't be the case. Once he releases the web the acceleration should be reducing to a certain amount. I know it's a lot of work but Spidey is just a hard character to animate....
yeah agree with that one, there is this one scene where it so obvious. he shoot web from ground then suddenly he swing, he supposed to behave like catapult right, built momentum to launch his body.
I keep coming back to this, and the vibe I get (especially from the music, what’s it’s name I NEED IT!) is that this is a semi-retired Spider-Man, putting on the suit and swinging full-force towards what could very well be a war zone
Super cool! I think it would be epic if the shot at 0:38-39 has the moon in the centre of the frame and Spiderman's little silhouette can be seen during that "freeze frame"
This is the true cinematic masterpiece... I still don't know what is Spider-Man Reborn, but if it's gonna be a fanmade film, this can become better than some of the official movies... Just looking at this trailer I understand one thing... that would be a lot to admire in here. Incredibly amazing job!
Some great swinging scenes. He feels powerful, and the swings have weight/meaning. Also love the interaction with the cars and street lamps. They often go over looked but I love how you use them for him to climb higher in the sky!
Just awesome! I used to have a toy with the same texture of Spider-Man's suit and this gave me chills - Thank you for making this and can't wait for the full version! Cheers!
The composition on this is triple A+ imo. However, constructively, there are many things I would continue to explore. A lot of people saying the movement is realistic but I don't see much weight on landings (the car scene seems like he has no gravity, needs to land harder and faster coming down even though he's actobatic) and some swings. Inertia on the lift of each swing is a bit float-y. Something else I might take a look at is how much camera shake is used here. Sometimes the camera shakes where I don't feel like it would. For panning scenes and aerial scenes the camera would most likely be on an elevator, or drone - which would be pretty still compared to what you have. The car scene has amazing trucking and shake. His model could use a little work on the rigging too. Someone else said the shoulders/arms were a bit weird and I have to agree, they look like the weights were transfered over from another rig. He seems a bit rigid overall but the animation and quick cuts generally hide that for the most part. I personally might add a bit more height fog to pop those volumetrics. Especially after a recent rainfall in Queens. I don't see active rain but I do see puddles. Overall this looks awesome and the lighting is what sells this whole clip for me. Excellent job on the camera focus too! Stoked to see the finished product!!!!
I agree. This is really great but my artist's eye picked up on those issues too, particularly the shaky cam and the rigidness of the model (especially at the beginning when he's starting his run-up to the edge of the building). It's still a fantastic animation overall, though - if they can iron out those little wrinkles to give it that extra little bit of polish, then awesome but those issues aren't exactly ruining the animation either.
The cars are ok, the landing does have weight, the problem is that he shaked the camera at the same speed and move the landing would do, making it seem like a soft landing, maybe he should be more agressive with the camera once he lands on the cars, but I think what would make it better is to give it a higher volume for the landing sound effects.
At the start I get the slightest spiderman 3 theme venom vibes (the scene where peter sits contemplating putting the black suit on to go fight Harry) from the music.
@@SovietMarmalade Yup, unrealistic camera shake. It’s tilting from side to side so it makes the user experience nausea. The shaking was probably added to hide some details that may have been bad, add a more epic effect or both.
Mightyracoon, this looks great, its beautifully rendered, it looks and sounds amazing, I’m really excited to see how it plays out. However id recommend using the camera shake a but more sparingly. Camera shake definitely makes things more dramatic and helps with the emersion for sure but you used it a lot especially towards the beginning whenever he is just running. I’d recommend waiting to use the camera shake whenever he does the bigger swings to really highlight how grand and momentous the swings and feeling of swing on a web is. I’m excited to see the final project good luck!!
I actually loved some moments with the camera work where we get a long shot instead of cutting to different angles. Some areas weren’t easy on the eyes when you cut to different angles quickly and zooming in really fast, but I enjoyed it and excited for what’s to come.
I feel like I love everything here! Just a quick idea for the camera during the swinging, I've always wondered what would happen if it felt like the camera was falling down on rope shaking and it has this shake like spiderman at the bottom of the swing and when it gets to the top arch it's all smooth and graceful and no camera shake like spiderman floating in the air before gravity pulls him down to swing again. I love this scene though!
One thing that I would love is to see where the Spiderman swings. You can see they do this very well ever since Toby Maguire's Spiderman shooting out blanks at seemingly nothing and do a huge swing. If you could improve in the camera work and pinpoint at which location, just for a cut or two, the web is being shot at, it would make the swing cinematic goes from 10/10 to 11/10. Great work!
Am I the only who misses seen more "two-hand" swinging? I mean each hand shooting web at a time but always having both hands as an anchoring point to the buildings. That was the kind of Spider-man swinging that I loved as a child, but can't recall seeing it in any of the movies (at least not that much). To me that was the equivalent to someone just walking, while the movies's swinging (and the one in this video) feels more like a bigger effort for him every single time, like one someone is trying to move forward by jumping with their legs touching each other.
Aight this looks dope... also I love that all the comments are all a supportive community of like minded creators.... like if there's any criticism is constructive. This is wholesome. Spidey brings out the best in people.
0:56 that swing! Reminds me of spider man: miles morales as he has a very similar swing animation, is it coincidence or is that swing inspired? Looks amazing!
1:07 Looks super realistic 😳 This whole this is beautiful and I loved the cinematography with the freeze frame and the epic music and choir 👏🏽 So dope man! Can’t wait for more 🔥🕷
Amazing, I love how this version of spider man, looks more angry than usual, like he had gone through something to cause his emotional pain, the web swing and the way he traverse through the city has a lot anger to it. I Love this idea.... I wish the they kept this suit in the video as it looks more mature
Dont get me wrong this is amazing and i could never so anything like this, however i do suggest trying to make the movements more flowing. It looks flowing in some parts and stiff in others and it really catches you off gaurd. I also suggest that when making jumps, dont make them look so floaty, he has powers yes but hes still affected by gravity and should not go up and down that slow
You need to stop thinking that gravity and physics always need to work the exact same way in every fictional universe. You are being extremely limited and narrow-minded. Half the point of fiction is that it's allowed to do things that are UNREALISTIC and DIFFERENT from real life. GET THAT THROUGH YOUR THICK SKULL. I LIKE SEEING DIFFERENT INTERPRETATIONS OF PHYSICS AND GRAVITY. I LIKE HAVING MORE VARIETY. I DON'T WANT EVERYTHING TO BE THE SAME AND REPETITIVE AND STALE LIKE YOU. STOP TRYING TO LIMIT AND DISCOURAGE PEOPLE'S CREATIVE FREEDOM. YOU ARE TRYING TO MAKE THE WORLD A WORSE PLACE WHICH MAKES YOU A BAD PERSON. STOP IT. EVOLVE YOUR BRAIN AND REALIZE YOUR MISTAKES AND FIX THEM.
This video perfectly encapsulates why Spider-Man as a character has endured for so many years. There are lots of "cool" characters with unique designs, but Spider-Man has this amazing physical presence that is unlike anything else. It's so completely unique to him that nothing comes even close to replicating it. And when you have a talented animator like this, that understands how to animate that constant, endless physical motion in such a captivating manner... it's just a stunning thing to watch.
This looks insane. You are extremely talented! If I have one suggestion, it would be to make the model more independent from the web while swinging. Almost like in TASM2 how the physics in the opening scene were apparent by the jolt in Andrew’s body as the web goes tight
I genuinly thought this was just a scene from one of the Spiderman movies with different music but this is an animation type deal. Holy cow. This looks amazing
I loved everything but the start, his arms felt wonky while he was standing there before the run, also the run it’s self could’ve been much better. Aside from that the texture and lighting is absolutely gorgeous, the swinging looked fine to me but honestly my eyes aren’t trained enough to critique that, so only stuff I’m critiquing is the stuff that even a layman like myself could pick up. I wish you the best and know if you take some of these insightful comments I’ve read from others into account this could be something truly glorious.
Great work! However, if I can give a minor suggestion, is to emphasize more on the inertia in spidey's swinging and free-running. By showing how much g-force and inertia spidey has to conquer (as he should be), you can increase the "realness" of the movements. Still, this is an awesome video!
Bravo, my friend. The only nitpick is that the swinging animation can be a little bit smoother, but other than that this is beautiful. Gaming studios ought to hire you just because of this video alone.

Some great swinging scenes. He feels powerful, and the swings have weight/meaning. Also love the interaction with the cars and street lamps. They often go over looked but I love how you use them for him to climb higher in the sky!
The most amazing thing is that this is possible to make and animate now and wasn't 10 years ago 🕸Spectacular ❤
You hit the nail on the head with this one
Love to see good constructive criticism
Finally someone with constructive criticism instead of "lol this is trash"
The cars are ok, the landing does have weight, the problem is that he shaked the camera at the same speed and move the landing would do, making it seem like a soft landing, maybe he should be more agressive with the camera once he lands on the cars, but I think what would make it better is to give it a higher volume for the landing sound effects.
At the start I get the slightest spiderman 3 theme venom vibes (the scene where peter sits contemplating putting the black suit on to go fight Harry) from the music.
This looks sick! Great work as usual 👍🏾🕸🕷
This looks great, the only thing that feels weird is how the camera is shaking and moving around, but the rest looks amazing.
The cameraman is swinging too, that's why
There’s alot of camera shake and it’s honestly very nauseating
@@SovietMarmalade Yup, unrealistic camera shake. It’s tilting from side to side so it makes the user experience nausea.
The shaking was probably added to hide some details that may have been bad, add a more epic effect or both.
The shaking camera is suppose to add to the swinging shots .
@@yazzieyaz740 sure, but it should be more subtle, its moving around too much
0:38 rlly is 🔥🔥🔥Made me shiver cuz I can imagine this in mcu.
Bro me too that music slaps
The slow motion and distance effect 😭🤩🤩🤩
this is incredible oh my god
What are u doing here?
me at the start of the video: "why the shoulders so high and pointy?"
me at the end: "damn that was awesome😳"
Lol yeah
Absolutely AMAZING!!! Such an excellent piece of art! So excited to see the full thing!
I always loved how the Raimy's suit looks with 3d webs and good overall color balance and normal sized eyes. Top notch stuff.
Ayoooooo thats swinging are to smooth 😩🔥
that was one of the best fan made swinging scene i have seen!!!
0:38 that shot looks extremely cool
The music is so good! Really goes along with what’s going on in the scene.
Wow. This is awesome!
For some reason *Into The Spiderverse* animation style made me dizzy.. i wish they animated it like this instead.
Great work!
A swinging scene like this is essential to any Spider-Man project, and you have done an amazing job. I can’t wait to watch the whole film.
7 months later,still getting goosebumps
I love how a youtube channel that has 2 million subs makes better swinging scenes than a multi-billion dollar company
Lol ikr thats what im saying
No it doesn't lmao
Are you talking about Marvel's Avengers of Square Enix?
@@gannielukks1811 yeah what is he talking about
Here we go again...
0:56 that swing! Reminds me of spider man: miles morales as he has a very similar swing animation, is it coincidence or is that swing inspired? Looks amazing!
The swing is inspired from the game
Bro you really need to share the full soundtracks when finished with the film. This particular one is for sure going to be my favourite
1:07 Looks super realistic 😳
This whole this is beautiful and I loved the cinematography with the freeze frame and the epic music and choir 👏🏽
So dope man!
It pays homage to Spiderman 1-3
ASM 1- 2, Holland swings and Spider-Man PS4 the parkour animations are just hard to miss BRAVO. This is insanely dope
You can't do it so hush. Your criticism isn't needed.
The Swinging animation looks CLEAN😎🤙
absolutely stunning. Good job maaan
That movie was made by actual professionals that know what they’re talking about when it comes to physics.
@@idrinkmilk282 I agree, that’s what makes this so impressive. Imagine if this guy cloned himself
Classic Spider-Man suit looks so badass
I genuinly thought this was just a scene from one of the Spiderman movies with different music but this is an animation type deal. Holy cow. This looks amazing
Damn are you sure it's fan made feels like the next spiderman movie scenes. since when fan made animation got this good 😂
Exactly
God DAMMIT I love Spider-Man. Incredible work! I'm proud FOR you!
Suit like Tobey Maguire
Swing like Andrew Gerfield
Body like Tom Holland
♥️🙂
I really like the vibe of cutscenes of 2002 "Spider-Man The Movie" game. Brings back good memories :)
Welp…looks like this is the only fan film I’m looking forward to☠️
Great work! However, if I can give a minor suggestion, is to emphasize more on the inertia in spidey's swinging and free-running. By showing how much g-force and inertia spidey has to conquer (as he should be), you can increase the "realness" of the movements. Still, this is an awesome video!
The zoom in on the hand for the first web suit and seeing him run toward the edge of the roof with glowing new York around him was everything
Best than Avenger's spider-man ps5 swinging..
We need this
this is how DC's Spiderman will look haha
so similar as superman fighting scene
btw, nice animation~
Esto es muy hermoso, tiempos hermosos se acercan.❤️✨🔥
This is the most beautiful CGI swinging i’ve seen. You even got his body language to the tee when he does Parkour. Big props.
Someone had to do it since Disney refuses to give us scenes like this.
FINALLY SOMETHING A+++ Unmatched upload.
Bravo, my friend. The only nitpick is that the swinging animation can be a little bit smoother, but other than that this is beautiful. Gaming studios ought to hire you just because of this video alone.
The choice of music was lit and the animation is top notch?! I wouldn't mind seeing the spider-verse in a version like this. wow!
