* Just for clarity , the alpha miner psu is not confirmed to work , just a theoretical that someone/company may release a higher end psu to possibly take advantage of fhe potential capability**
My distributor changed my balance towards T21 to S21!!! We are all good now thank god 😂😂😂🙏🙏🙏 9 s21 here we come, gonna LPM all of them so I get 16.5J/T like the S21 Hyd. I also ordered water cooling kits. I’ll keep you posted on wattage before and after install
Great info, I will be buying 1 more Asic soon. I like the S21s but I live in Thailand so maybe the T21 is a better bet (Heat). I need miners that will get me to the 2028 halving. I pay for my electricity from teaching online. I need to find a good balance. BTC miners plus 1 or 2 Alt miners that will help with my electric bill. I do love this game because we are fighting the system = fiat money
For me, S19k 120T X2 better than S21 which gonna make it 240T both units vs 1 200T in value price.. similar situation with 4x KS3m vs 1 KS5 when the value of KS3m was $6500 😅
Thanks for the constant valuable info! Heard about the epic board from ya and I'm happy so far with it on my XP. Curious what's the numbers with it on the S21?
Altair actually dug into a bit, from their findings they were able to underclock and get 16-17 j/Th , which isn't a huge improvement and overclocking they were able to get it to 230 T/h at around 20 j/t/h , stock fans werent able to keep up beyond that and probably pushing the limits of the PSU at that point also , so pretty limited in comparison to the benefits/runway people are getting with xp's and kpro's.
@@miningstacker thanks maybe save some money and buy the lower T/H model and just replace the control board. Might be worth it depending on price difference
@@shiggadop that 100% would be the way id do it, the cost savings in many cases will pay for the board and then some and will now give you that flexibility of where you want it to go.
Lol, even with an alpha miner or an extreme PSU , the thought of an air-cooled unit doing that is pretty insane. That air temp it would be pumping out must be 🔥, 😂
@@miningstacker i doubt it is a problem, just dont run stock fans in the middle of the dessert with a fan kit they go way down in temp, compared to with those noisy crap original fans that destroy the machines it makes no sense to add fans that are to small like the factory does, and that makes that much noice and consume so much my s21 is not hot in anyway it should be able to handle alot more easy without getting hot but using 3 fase equitment on 230v direct can create a loss to up to 1/3 of the power, how much does this method waste. you cant convert anything in this way without a loss jusl like a 230v device uses more if you hook it up to 110v
@@Hansen710 yeah, just really dependant on area and your ambient temp , for me it is an issue , down here in Florida our summer is about 9 months, 😂. So for me it's a concern , but not a deal breaker , with the added flexibility of all the firmware , tweaking the clocks is also a possibility in case it's a big enough issue. But what @shredz4816 was referencing was the high energy 233 t/h mode at over 5100w .
Right?! I agree, I try and squeeze it in at least 50 times per video to appease the masses . And yes, it is extremely nasally and annoying , definitely not worth dealing with all that for some useless info .

Nice! Congrats brotha!
Have you purchased S21 hyd?

Nice, yeah the heat issues are a little concerning on the s21 , could be a good option for something more next gen.
T21 Is your best bet. Im from Vietnam and weather very hot now. 38 C degree at 12 AM. Still running stable at HEM mode ( 230 th)
Much needed video for residential miners

Very true
two S19j units will end up consuming way more power than a single S21 right ?
@@crazy-d1am0nd yes, with aftermarket firmware you can lower it and get it more efficient, but yes , even with that, the s21 is more efficient
@@crazy-d1am0nd yes! A single S19j consume 3050w*2 = 6100w plus minus. While S21 consume 3550 plus minus with almost same T/H 🙏
KS5 now have a very good price.

Good on ya mate.
👍 go kadena go
BRO i can not wait to hear the rest of this video
Got 6 of these beasts 3 phase is best to split the load between the 3 phases far cheaper than s21
Also cheaper crypto mining bros
Good video mate! Just don’t run it on the 240T mode or what ever it is on that other PSU unless you want to burn your house down 🤣
