Honestly, I could see this actually happening (Get out of here Disney, you understand nothing) mainly because of that one simple word, balance. The Jedi's goal was to eliminate the Sith, but because of their flawed code and the fact that entirely light does not mean balance, Sith would come creeping out of somewhere. As tragic as Order 66 was, I think that restart was exactly what the Jedi needed to straighten out their act.
Well the light side is the will of the force, causing no imbalance. The dark side controls the force, perverting it to the uses will. This means that if every force user was light, there would be no imbalance.
@@ferret3423 stare into the sun long enough and you'll go blind, lock yourself in a perfectly sealed box and it'll be to dark to see, on both ends of the spectrum if only one exists it will be blinding, balance requires equality not supremacy. also the light isn't the will of the force, the jedi prioritize the republic and the peoples will, not the will of the force.
That was fun and unique! The story was not as I had anticipated, as you had promised at the outset. If Star Wars goes nuts and does the MCU thing, this should get an animated short.
If Taika Waititi is going to go another direction with his movie, this is exactly what I would want to see. Take the story in a completely different direction, plus seeing the upgraded suit would be amazing.
Another awesome story. I like the running theme of balance in your stories. It is why during the prequels ,Mace was my favorite Jedi and Dooku one of my favorite Sith. Mace was capable of Darkness and ,in my opinion at least, Dooku wasn't completely ruled by the Darkside. Thank you for putting so much thought into your work. It makes bad days better for me and I'm sure for others as well.

this is by far my most favorite one that you have put out, i wasnt expecting it to turn out like it did which was great. you are easily my favorite producer of what if videos. KEEP IT UP
Before the prequels I always thought Vader became this way piece by piece as he hunted the Jedi. One by one he would either lose a limb or even just a part of who he was until he could no longer recognize his old self. But hey, I was a dumb kid. It's so much better that it happened right away at once...
Just found you and I am loving your stories! It is awesome listening to someone who understands the characters, the universe, and can weave such authentic story lines!
I like this story, I think it was very well put together and you did on a great job on it. The only thing I think you missed which I believe would have happened is Anakin would have had to confront the Inquisitors who would been looking to get revenge on him for killing Palpatine who they all looked to as their rightful master. Though I believe Anakin would have dispatched them rather easily they still would have had to been dealt with.
I really enjoyed the story! I think it's really fun to explore ideas like this and felt like this was a creative and inspiring take on Anakin/Vader finding balance and redemption. Keep up the great work.
I would imagine to fix the flaws of the republic they would divide the galaxy into regions each with their own government and a main central so no one gets ignored or gets too powerful
@Marcus “Lord Vader.. you have failed me again..” *Sand flies into Vaders Respirator* “It shall not happen again or I’ll add another grain of sand to your collection”
I think the reason Vader never bothered upgrading his suit besides the fact that the pain it caused him was a helpful way to harness the darkside was he just didn’t care. I think he felt he deserved this life of misery inside that suit as punishment for what he did to padme. With padme dead and his child, or so he thought, he had no motivation to overthrow palpatine until he discovered Luke since he was all about family. That’s why Obi wan and Asoka had no chance at redeeming him only Luke did.
Actually I take part of that back. Obi wan couldnt have redeemed anakin on his own without the padme card. Say when he arrived on mustafar if he would have explained that padme didn’t “bring him here to kill him” he snuck on and that he attacked and could have killed the person he cared about for nothing he might have gotten through to him.
well done! Thank you! I suffer from chronic depression and what basically saved me was going back to my artistic side, I feel it has given me an extra 26 years to my life so far; building, painting, sculpting etc.. everyday has given me a reason to exist so I can see how Vader/Anakin could conquer his 'dark side' by simply doing something he enjoyed rather than dwelling in the past. It's hard work at first but definitely achievable.
Thank you so much, and I completely understand. A lot of this story was inspired by my own experiences with such emotions and how, well, making these videos help me with it
This is very great and very exciting and very epic. I find it very interesting how Anakin Skywalker gave Palpatine what he deserved by making Palpatine take Padme Amidala’s place in Padme Amidala’s tomb. And I also really love how Anakin Skywalker gets to live happily with his love Padme Amidala, his son Luke and daughter Leia, and his brother figure Obiwan Kenobi.
This is why I love Star Wars, the thorough thought and the building of this world you had so expertly crafted, it was like when I first watched all 6 episodes as a young child again. Emotional and ending a good note. Great video and great job!
What if Vader had been slowly and carefully removing the weaknesses and enhancing the strengths of his suit all by himself without Sidious' knowledge? That he had allowed the Force to sustain him, risking death without his respirator, so he could be implanted in this new armour, though it looked exactly the same as the old?
Awesome video! What if Anakin was trained by or with ahserad het (the guy who became Darth Krayt)? What if Anakin clones his arm and reattached it during the clone wars? What if Anakin and padme divorced before she told him she was pregnant? What if the Sith empire (from the old republic) was in hiding and returned during the clone wars? What if Anakin fell in love with Shaak Ti? Sorry got a lot of ideas spinning around in my head 😂
To keep it short I liked this alternate reality, way too often shows and movies give us a sad heart wrenching ending I suppose to create drama but an ending where good wins and evil can be redeemed and be forgiven was quite nice. Well done sir.
I think what would’ve happened is he might be armored and have more weapons however he’d have less pain and his force powers would be a lot weaker not as strong not as long he’ll be more of a combatant and less of a force user, Compared to him with the old suit.
This is one of my favorite videos of all time this couldn't have come up in a more depressing time in my life. I feel so depressed because I've like this girl for a while but I can never work up the confidence to tell her how I felt and now I feel like it's too late and she moved on and she really liked me at the time and I feel like I really screwed up .But that's beside the point just wanted to say this video really help me out today and I thank you for that honestly.
I'm sorry to hear about that, but I'm happy to hear that this was able to make you feel better! I hope everything begins to look brighter down your path!
@@Barisdagame he wouldn't be able to do that if unconscious. If he was conscious for the whole surgery, there's no guarantee he'd be able to use the force to sustain his breathing for hours. He's been able to do it for minutes at best in canon.
Vader knew that any upgrades would come with a steep price. The Emperor always kept Vader on a short leash; any 'enhancements' that made Vader stronger would be booby-traps of some kind. Better to stick with the Hell that you know...
This was very entertaining. I would absolutely watch a show with an alternate time line with Vader upgrading his suit, or not being burned, raising Luke and Leia....etc . Pretty much just like many of your other videos. I believe Darth Vader is a great character and people like yourself that come up with these different theories and story ideas are , in my opinion, great at what you do. They have the marvel "what if series" which did pretty well so I definitely think many of your ideas which obviously people already enjoy watching, would probably do well on a platform like Dysney+ .( not to insult your work) .Lmao, you'll always have your haters, but I enjoy watching shows that take once in a lifetime type of characters ( Darth Vader/ Anakin Skywalker) and explore what could be if other decisions were made. Great video, thanks for sharing.
Anakin: can you ever forgive me? Obi-Wan: you're my brother Anakin. I love you. *Force ghost Qui Gon* : well done, my boys Also that artwork of Anakin in Jedi robes with the respirator makes him look like a Light Side version of Darth Malgus
I heard that he actually had the opportunity to get an upgraded suit that would allow him to come closer to his full power. The reason he turned it down was because the immense pain and suffering caused by his big clunky suit made him more powerful and evil, because the sith are powered by pain. It was a constant reminder of his failures and his hatred towards the jedi. He and Palpatine both knew that if he got the upgraded suit, he wouldn't have the pain required to stay a sith, and become Anakin again; similar to your story. I absolutely loved this vid and think it's a perfect representation of what would happen if he built/accepted the new suit. Keep up the great work
I have discovered your channel recently, you make great videos!. Few what-if suggestions: what if yoda was obi-wan’s master what if mace windu was darth tyranus instead of count dooku what if dooku betrayed darth sidious during the clone war what if ahsoka trained galen marek (starkiller) what if jango fett survived the battle of geonosis what if jarjar binks was the chosen one (joke suggestion)
I just realized, if this is what happened we never would have gotten the Disney movies, because palpatine never would have had his clone run away (obviously he didn’t try to have it run away just saying it wouldn’t happen) which would mean Rey never came to life, and Ben Solo (if Leia and Han still got married), would be train in a better way, with the distraction of snoke ( or he would just be able to block out the thought / feeling because of the superior training he would’ve revived (considering he was the grandchild of anakin, also there might have been another grandchild, the or the multiple children of .
This is definitely the best alternate reality story for Anakin I’ve ever heard, if you made a longer video you could definitely make an entire comic if you provided dialogue obviously and provided more details, but goddamn this was good.
The fact that these story's go down paths that you wouldn't initially expect is one of the top reasons I subbed. The Jokasta x Palpatine story was one of favorites actually, especially with how it could theoretically be canon.
it always bothered me how the sith say they want to free themselves but in the end they just become slaves to power and the dark side, in the end they aren't freed. in a weird way Anikin is the first one to really fulfill the sith code in this story, he becomes free from his power and mastery of the force and giving his emotions, yet he is still tempered by the elements of the code governing his old selfs actions. If anything I love how padme is brought back. in this line it makes more sense, vader finds it himself, it's only been a few months so she's not a far gone rotting corpse, and we do know while very rare it is possible. he never really wanted the dark side, while naturally more dark, all he wanted was padme, if she was safe if she was alright he has very little reason to do anything bad, he only got so pure evil once she was gone, and he had nothing left, then searching for the high of killing jedi and others. I also in my head cannon like to believe to myself, Anikin secretly saved the young-lings, igniting his light saber, and then realizing he can't do it, while the rest of the jedi had to go, he thought he could mold the young into something better then the jedi or sith wanted without the interference, but he knew palpatin would question his resolve, so he had to be carful about it. he told a detachment of only his best most loyal troops to prep a gunship in the hanger for take off, and all other clones to leave the area, he dawned the robes of a fallen master pulled the hood up and told the younglings to follow him, at a distance only coming when each hall was cleared by vader. the clones thought he was just another jedi not a roage vader. the younglings managed to board the gunship, and a pilot personally loyal to lord vader was told to take them to a safe location, one of the many hiding area's padme and anakin would meet up in their free time. he knew they would be safe from prying eyes and if the handmaidens were told to take care of the yiunglings and keep them safe and secret from everyone till anikin or padme came for them. As the gunship took off carrying as many of the orders younglings he could still find alive, he had to cover his track he didn't know if palpatine really would check the holorecording but he had to make sure both the children and his betrayal and disloyalty would never be uncovered, vader thought to himself, he could kill the emporor after he learend the secret, to keep padme safe, and then rebuild the jedi in his own image, or at least train them all to be his own padawans or acolytes, he was not a fan of the rule of two, vader hated the sith, and when he trained asoka, he had looked into the old records trying to figure how to train her best and had come across, that the old jedi used to be allowed at certain times to both be married or have kids and train multiple apprentices. He thought to himself if only the order hs still been this way, he could have asked yoda or obiwan for more help openly. Not be subject to fear, and his mind raced back to yoda telling him how fear was a path to the dark side, when he was a young boy when they weren't going to train him. The jedi order didn't want to train him because of his fear they sensed at the time, and he realized they were right, his fear of loosing padme brought him to the dark side. But also the jedi had things they were afraid of that had not made them fall tarnished the order none the less, fear of the sith rising, fear of the chancalor, fear to even train him, Fearing attachments, Fearing emotion. maybe if the younglings lived, he could reform the order to not fall into the same mistakes. But he first had to go and replace the security holo's to show him following orders, it was easy enough he had bought and then modded a black market computer spike and system that let him hack into and alter security footage discretly leaving no trace of tampering, dealing with unsavery charaters around the galaxy did at times come with there uses, and in the past it was easier, to meet up with padme using this tool, helping to cover up their secret meetings was in fact very hard on planets and places covered in security cams. But he could erase them from the feeds and show them in other area's that made more sense. really you just told the Ai what to do and it did most of it automatically, so he had it show him killing the younglings, as ordered just in case palpatine checked. Some of the padawans though had been out and more active trying to fight and during operation Knightfall he had to kill some of them when his clones were around, he couldn't hide saving them. So if palpatine checked, he would have the evidence vader really did follow orders. Later when he meet padme on mustifar and she cried telling him what she saw he knew it had to be obi wan. who told her. He avoided the question, he could explain that he had tried to save as many as he could and where they had gone but that would be a long explanation and he was trying to talk to her more and bring her round to his way of thinking, when he saw obi wan.

@@benbrittain3919 I think you may be confusing Vader/ Anakin with Revan; Vader was not fully immersed in the dark side--there was always a sliver of Anakin present. Revan on the other hand, was a master of both.
I really like this bc if he did get to upgrade his suite without the emperor knowing he could do whatever he wants and doing what he likes slowly changes him back over to the light but he still has to be Vader because of the suite and he can use both sides of the force reaching his full potential
One thing that's always confused me is that we know sidous deliberately made Vader's suit weak so Vader couldn't overthrow him but why didn't Vader upgrade it himself?
Transfer would probably kill him and red guards watching vader were not his men but palpatine's which means he was watching his every step so making a suit would earn him a punishment from sidious

As tragic as Order 66 was, I think that restart was exactly what the Jedi needed to straighten out their act.
Exactly!
I sense Vader is becoming like Revan when allowing himself to become a vessel of the Force.
Thank you so much!
that is the best story I have listened 2 on Vader that hit on who he really was. one doesnt just lose the good thatwashis own. life runs in circles,so the premise that u use is highly reasonable. Great story line. beautiful
Thank you so much!
This should be called the “what if Darth Vader was self aware” story.
I've always wondered what if Vader was able to convince the Sisters in Mauls Clan to use the pool to rejuvenate him???? Would this be possible could he be healed with the assistance of the Nightsisters????
They also had codes plus he wasnt a maul race
I really hope you can do the 'What if Anakin was trained by Master Fay'
11:35 this... I WISH his story turned out this way, it would've done his character and his bloodline so much justice!!!
this is by far my most favorite one that you have put out, i wasnt expecting it to turn out like it did which was great. you are easily my favorite producer of what if videos. KEEP IT UP
Really enjoyed this take, you're right. I definitely wasn't expecting this. A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one.
:) Thank you so much!
Before the prequels I always thought Vader became this way piece by piece as he hunted the Jedi. One by one he would either lose a limb or even just a part of who he was until he could no longer recognize his old self. But hey, I was a dumb kid. It's so much better that it happened right away at once...
Always had a weakness for power armor. Stuff like this always trips the right triggers for me.
I love happy Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader endings. Please do more.
;)))
@@PentePatrolStarWars Hope that means yes
This one is also going into my favorites. This is a very unique theory on what if Vader upgraded his armor.
Awesome! :)))
Just found you and I am loving your stories! It is awesome listening to someone who understands the characters, the universe, and can weave such authentic story lines!
Thank you so much!
As in ancient Rome?
@@tommyalmeyda1253 in a sense
This is amazing I love this and I don't care if it was a happy ending I like how it ended 10/10 you have out done yourself
Thank you so much!
There is however another variation of Shien called Sith Shien that is used with a reverse grip.
well done!
A lot of this story was inspired by my own experiences with such emotions and how, well, making these videos help me with it
I shed so many tears listening to this it was beautiful!!! Thank you
:))))
This is the first video I’ve seen and I’m sold on your channel! This was great!
Thank you so much!
I really like the story. You've done a really good job with it. Keep them coming.
Thank you so much!
This was beautiful sir, first video of yours I watched. You have gained a loyal follower! ❤
I really love this story and I like the happy ending, and you one of the only people that do happy endings
Thank you so much!
Also I believe that you Vader would clone his hands but use robotic legs. New hands would let him use force lighting.
One what if that would be good is what if Anakin and Duchess Satine fell in love. Since you did Padme and Obi-Wan
👀👀👀👀
This is very great and very exciting and very epic. I find it very interesting how Anakin Skywalker gave Palpatine what he deserved by making Palpatine take Padme Amidala’s place in Padme Amidala’s tomb. And I also really love how Anakin Skywalker gets to live happily with his love Padme Amidala, his son Luke and daughter Leia, and his brother figure Obiwan Kenobi.
Certainly a feel good! I'm glad you enjoyed this!
Why does everyone say Owen is Anakin's half-brother? He isn't. Shmi isn't Lars' mother. They're step-brothers.
(just a humble correction)
This is why I love Star Wars, the thorough thought and the building of this world you had so expertly crafted, it was like when I first watched all 6 episodes as a young child again. Emotional and ending a good note. Great video and great job!
Thank you so much!
Thank you for bringing such interesting what if to life!
It was the best star wars video, I've ever watched! That was amazing work
Great content. I have listened to a few of these now and I can really hear and appreciate both the love and dedication that goes into your work.
Thank you so much!
This was one of my favourite Star Wars stories ever and I also love the idea of Anakin/Vader having a cross guard lightsaber Great work
Thank you so much!
This video is so good, I need a part 2.
Nice ideas!
Awesome story. This is the first one I've listened to and I'm looking forward to watching more.
Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy the others!
Every second of the video was wonderful, much enjoyed . I really hope your video blows up.
Beautifully written. Brought a tear to my eye.
Thank you so much!
Oh and PS I was also the 328 person to like this video so just a little shout out
I'm sorry to hear about that, but I'm happy to hear that this was able to make you feel better! I hope everything begins to look brighter down your path!
Vader didn't take the upgrades because doing so would require him to deactivate his life support systems. He may have died in the operation.
He could've used the force and his rage to keep him alive
@@Barisdagame he wouldn't be able to do that if unconscious. If he was conscious for the whole surgery, there's no guarantee he'd be able to use the force to sustain his breathing for hours. He's been able to do it for minutes at best in canon.
You under estimate his power 🤣🤣🤣
@@Barisdagame 🤣🤣🤣
@@darthconquest1046 In one of the newer comics, he's stranded in the wilderness with a damaged (almost destroyed) suit for hours, if not days.
This was beautiful, thank you for this!
This is an awesome story. Very inspirational. Thank you for your time and effort.
Thank you so much!
Great video. I really liked seeing a new story about Anakin, Thanks for this.
Anakin: can you ever forgive me?
Obi-Wan: you're my brother Anakin. I love you.
*Force ghost Qui Gon* : well done, my boys
Also that artwork of Anakin in Jedi robes with the respirator makes him look like a Light Side version of Darth Malgus
Keep up the great work
Exactly! Thank you so much!
I have discovered your channel recently, you make great videos!.
Few what-if suggestions: what if yoda was obi-wan’s master
what if mace windu was darth tyranus instead of count dooku
what if dooku betrayed darth sidious during the clone war
what if ahsoka trained galen marek (starkiller)
what if jango fett survived the battle of geonosis
what if jarjar binks was the chosen one (joke suggestion)
Thank you so much and oooo
I just realized, if this is what happened we never would have gotten the Disney movies, because palpatine never would have had his clone run away (obviously he didn’t try to have it run away just saying it wouldn’t happen) which would mean Rey never came to life, and Ben Solo (if Leia and Han still got married), would be train in a better way, with the distraction of snoke ( or he would just be able to block out the thought / feeling because of the superior training he would’ve revived (considering he was the grandchild of anakin, also there might have been another grandchild, the or the multiple children of .
Absolutly great!
Amazing story. A perfect end!
Thank you so much!
This is definitely the best alternate reality story for Anakin I’ve ever heard, if you made a longer video you could definitely make an entire comic if you provided dialogue obviously and provided more details, but goddamn this was good.
Thank you so much!!
I absolutely loved this one it was really good love your content
Thank you so much!
I really enjoyed this story, thank you.
The fact that these story's go down paths that you wouldn't initially expect is one of the top reasons I subbed. The Jokasta x Palpatine story was one of favorites actually, especially with how it could theoretically be canon.
Vader didn't actually get the upgrade because there was a high risk of him dying and he wouldve have to put a lot of faith in palpatine
it always bothered me how the sith say they want to free themselves but in the end they just become slaves to power and the dark side, in the end they aren't freed. in a weird way Anikin is the first one to really fulfill the sith code in this story, he becomes free from his power and mastery of the force and giving his emotions, yet he is still tempered by the elements of the code governing his old selfs actions.
What a beautiful story. Please give us more. I like to see Vader/Anakin something good out of all the bad that has happened, what he did. I knew he always new the truth. He was just was at Palpatines mercy. Thanks again for a great story. Take care my friend. MTFBWY, Always

When Anakin Skywalker was a Padawan he killed the Tustin raiders as Vader
He wasn't dubbed Vader yet. That was merely Anakin's darkside coming through. He wasn't dubbed as Darth Vader until after the death of Windu.

I think cause the transfer to a new suit could’ve killed him
Transfer would probably kill him and red guards watching vader were not his men but palpatine's which means he was watching his every step so making a suit would earn him a punishment from sidious
