    bayahibe is the one part of the island that gave me that real chilled out easy going vibe not too many sales people and i felt very safe and it gave me the same feeling i got when i was in barbados another one of my fav destinations.

      Yes! It’s a totally different vibe around here. Everyone is chill “well most people” lol. But laid back and people walking everywhere! Thanks for watching and sharing your experience!

    Hi Jo, new subscriber. Ive been watching alot of videos of different places in D.R. on where to retire Samana, La Romana,Cabarete, Punta Cana and Bayahibe.I think you've helped me alot on deciding, I have a lot of family in Santo Domingo but its SOOO over crowded and traffic is atrocious. Bayahibe looks really chill and not over populated and Im still close to family. It is a little on the expensive side but looks so worth it. Thank you for the video, keep up the great work, God Bless my man!

      It’s a small town but I love the vibe and the location!! 1-1/2 hours from SD and 1 from PC, and both airports! 20 minutes to La Romana and 35 from Higuey. Good luck and keep me updated! Thanks 🙏🏽

    Great video brother. You earned a subscriber…and maybe a neighbor someday…haha! We have a condo in Punta Cana. Next time we are on the island we are planning on driving over to Bayahibe to check it out. I’m very intrigued and might consider a move :) Thanks again!

    Thank you for this great video. Right now we are looking to buy a condo in DR. After several months or researching various parts of DR it has come down to a Condo in Dominicus Beach / Bayahibe area vs. Las Terrenas…. Based on all the videos I’ve seen they both look amazing…but I keep leaning towards Bayahibe. I am curious to know your thoughts on Bayahibe vs. Las Terrenas ?

    • @coconutjo9780
      @coconutjo9780  Год назад

      Thanks for watching and your comments! I haven’t been to Las Terrenas yet. I was close to it but didn’t want to pay the ridiculous toll just for a few hours, but they it is absolutely beautiful! We were contemplating buying and living there but I heard the vibe was more lattes and cappuccinos. Big European influence, not my type of vibe for daily living but we will be visiting soon! LT is quite a distance to some major cities and airports while Bayahibe is 1&1/2 hours to SDQ Santo Domingo and only 45 minutes from PUJ and Punta Cana. They both have their own unique vibes you just have to check them out for yourself.

    • @coconutjo9780
      @coconutjo9780  Год назад

      It varies depending bedrooms, amenities, location, age, etc. but I’ve seen them from $50k for 1 bedroom, no pool - $450k 2 bedrooms, multiple pools, ocean front.

    Cost of housing if we rent

    • @coconutjo9780
      @coconutjo9780  11 месяцев назад

      $500-$1000 for a decent 1-2 bedroom place. Probably not with a pool @ $500
