I started to take notice of these truck, now that the Ford & Chevy trucks have gone off the charts in price. They are nice, unique old trucks that will do the job just the same. Plus i like the flat head for its quiet sound. I'd own one in a heartbeat. Thanks for showing, Great videos!
This was great as I spent some time with a guy who had a 52 on a Dakota chassis at a local show Saturday. There are probably a dozen or so job rated Dodges running around this area. Most are stock, but a few are on Dakota frames or front halves. Those 25 inch long Mopar 6 cylinder engines are very responsive,. Should you get a chance to drive one in good nick, it will surprise you.
That's a good old girl!
I was thrilled to see her. These 'original' oldies have a special place in the heart.

I know nothing of them, but wow, it is nice!

Quite rare in these parts, in my limited experience. Would love to try driving one sometime.

I think it has hydraulic, not mechanical brakes.
I need to research that. I must have been mistaken.
