I really, really love you channel. I'm an old lady beginning knitter and your probably a lifetime knitter. I will never be as good a knitter as you but I'm having a great time learning. I've tried knitting many times but it always made me so tense. I decided to take my time and go my own pace and I find it truly relaxing. I don't know anyone who knits so you have become like my dear friend. Thank you my friend!
i guess im asking the wrong place but does anyone know of a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb forgot the account password. I love any tips you can offer me
@Keenan Cristian Thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Very nice! I used the same lace pattern for my wooly socks- for that part which is around the ankle and on top of the foot. Because its a reversable pattern (you have to turn the workpiece over and do the same thing again) but a sock isn’t reversable I had to reverse the pattern so every 2., 4.th.. row was purl-yo from back to front-2tgh from the back 😁 turned out ok. Btw I very much like your videos- it’s very clear that you teach in real life as well bc you take time to show, show sloooowly, show again, and then show again. That many repeats would un-nerve others but it’s necessary to actually learn and memorise. Thanks for your videos!
About 25cms from the edge of the sleeve. It's a good idea to try it on before you make a knot. The sewing has to do with the size of the person. The bigger the size, the less you sew.
Hi, I see the comments are quite old so I hope you are still checking and can reply. Love your instructions as they are easy to follow for a beginner knitter like myself. I want to make this shrug using a metallic yarn. Here are the stats of the yarn I want to use. Ball Weight 50, Length 382 yards, Yarn weight 2 sport, recommended needle size is US 6 (4MM). How many balls of this yarn will I need to do the shrug??
Daphne, It would be a mistake for me to tell you how much yarn, since I don't know how you knit. Try using #4 yarn. I believe I used Caron's Simply Soft. Get 3 balls to make sure.
I assume you used a American size because there is no 10.5 in UK, that would be a 6.5 mm. I wish the video's would state all 3 different sizes:UK, US, and Metric. This tutorials are seen all over the world, and l don't remember who uses what kind of size. I loaded down a size chart, it is easy to do, but I need to know which it is, but I appreciate all your effort that goes into making the tutorials, and I like all your patterns, thanks again.

Very pretty. How far do you stitch the sleeves ma'am?

If you use thinner yarn, the instructions are different. You would need more stitches.
Beautiful 💕
