At first I thought the PSR was ok but not great, but as I learned more about the watch I started to become obsessed with it. I now own one and it is truly such a cool retro futuristic time piece that will always be part of my collection.
1:58 looks like assassin getting ready for some action =)
So funny. The serious, determined look in Wei’s eyes as he’s slipping on the gloves really sell it too.
Was thinking the same thing... I was like "this guy does wet work" lol
Love this watch, will definitely add one someday…
Thinking about getting this. Thanks for the interview!
Where are the drilled lugs? I'm way more likely to scratch and damage the inside of the lugs being bronze with a spring bar tool.
Great to have this model in bronze, the aging will make it look sick!
will you have automatic version in the near future?
Green dial, and I'm in
Ordered last week. When will these ship?
Great size.👍
Wei is awesome, nice watch too
Do you know how many of khaki mechanical H50 mov. broken? What is the reason? I want buy one but affraid of failure or damage .
I have had mine for about 3 months. So far no problems. The watch is approximately 2 seconds fast per day
My regular one has drilled lugs.. $375... And it won't turn green, or as some say patina
Why not wait to post this until tomorrow when I can see it on the website and buy it… instead of today when I’ll forget about it by tomorrow. Also would really appreciate display case backs on watches over $500
1 if you're going to forget about it by tomorrow that's a sign you shouldn't buy it. Second display backs with bog standard undecorated movements are a detriment to most watch geeks. "Oh wow look the balance wheel moving!" Said the first time mechanical watch owner, but not anyone who gets to the point they appreciate movement decorating.
@@goldendawn7 this guy never bought a Rolex or Tudor lmao
Really cool watch. At the same time, tracing Hamilton's history back to Lancaster is a bit disingenuous in my opinion. When the brand was bought, I feel like it became a new brand.
no 100m WR and no drilled lugs - not a proper field watch. this one really fell short, and could have and should have been something great. sheer pity
the Orient Star Field Outdoor makes more sense and functional :)
Why do you need those things?
I like to wear my field watches for various types of activities and tactical operations both in and out of the water, which require more robust resistance.
@@retiredmogul sounds like you need a mil-spec tactical watch. This wasn’t made for you
@@danielwiles5869 have too many already - this watch could've been much more, though it doesn't matter as it's just another watch - many better field ones out there
Even at the ridiculous price, I’d still consider it if it wasn’t for the idiotic decision to go with a titanium buckle. Why?? It serves no purpose to be in titanium, but just makes it look like the watch and strap aren’t made for each other. It looks utterly stupid.
Bronze is an irritant when against the skin for a long period hence the titanium back. Therefore the part of the buckle that touches the skin would have to be titanium or steel.
I want to know if they plan on releasing a 38mm murph
Beautiful - but actually grossly overpriced for what it is.
L'orologio mi piace. Ma il fatto che è solo manuale non mi convince. Meglio automatico. A lungo andare il meccanismo può rompersi.
this is hot
Too small for me 😪
Khaki Automatic available in two sizes, including a larger model which you might prefer.
Have you tried one on, Greg?
@@slugtoenail Yes, I’ve tried it. It was quite nice, but I’m happy with the 38MM version I bought years ago which has been reliable and keeps time well consistently gaining approximately five seconds per day.
@@carycary3822 right on. I have one from a few years ago too and love it.
Is this bronze one smaller than 38mm? (Sorry if I missed that in the video)
Try it on, the lug to lug (most important but overlooked measurement for many) probably makes it wear bigger.
Junk ALot of issues with Hamilton right now
@VeteranPilot
Hahaha you got it. This Morisette is just making an issue or making an excuse or alibi not to buy this World's Famous Soldiers's Watch by Hammy.
Maybe he's not a soldier or retired soldier but a certified happy-go-lucky civilian🤔.
Wow, now ugliness comes in bronze!. Ridiculously long lugs, with crappy AR coating and horrible lume. Not to mention the most boring dial and an ugly dull finishing on the case. 🤢🤮
47 mm lugs is huge for you ??? Lool sorry for you my friend if you cant even pull this one of you might as well stick to ladies watches. Well the dial execution is rather subjective can ‘t argue with that however the finishing is extremeley well done considering it’s price especially for the regular watch(bronze is kinda pricey) Like wtf 500 dollars (even 800 dollars for the bronze)is dead cheap for the overall quality you get. Tough ı agree AR should have been much better than this.
