I will have to say he puts most guitarists in the Metal genre to shame. Listen to some of the recordings of him playing and you'll understand that he's a badass with a guitar. As for his words, as TMone said...It's an act. He actually HAS all his teeth too if I'm not mistaken...or some of them that are blacked out.

he makes it look easy. the licks are standard rock scales, You still have to be pretty good to play what He just did that only proves that for Unknown Hinson it easy yep yep do the time. Some of his songs are very deep in style and hes sings and plays at the same time. In short I think hes great!!!!!!!

I'll admit that it's an easy scale, but that doesn't make it less passionate, in fact it makes it more passionate, because you don't have to focus on technicality, you're allowed to just concentrate on the emotion behind the notes, when you look at it that way, the pentatonic blues scale is the absolute representation of the guitars position in the music world, in general, it's a very easy instrument to play, but it's such a personal instument in terms of how many ways there are to alter a note.
I do believe he just suggested that 15-year-old "punks" have no ability to produce decent music or express themselves artistically. I believe he just made a huge ass of himself.
