*Instead of diapers you can buy fake snow or hyrdo gel for the second method*
Space Bubbles diapers are cheaper and on hand if you’re a parent, sibling, babysitter or... a diaper enthusiast?
@@madelinetischer1448 😶😛
@@madelinetischer1448 Diaper enthusiast????? To each his own, I guess.....
I thought fake snow would work!!
It looks like crushed orbeez/water crystals to me. Wouldnt need food coloring then
That awkward moment when you think you can use a pad instead of a diaper and quickly realize you just ruined a perfectly nice pad... I hate my life right now.
No Soup For You xD
No Soup For You better give me soup.. 😾😼
Girl just as she said diaper I wondered if a pad would work, so thanks for the save
I would have thought pad and diaper had the same absorbing stuff inside too. LOL Thanks for the heads up.
No Soup For You ::: wow I thought the same thing but I did not try it
After a couple of weeks, expect the colours to blend together. It doesnt stay as seperated and pretty for long
true.. but if you use a really lil amount of water it wont. tho what she did is a bit runny so yes the colours willl mix slowly
@〜I see that I'm ICY〜 did you do both methods ?
BTW my dad works for a company that makes diapers....the chemicals inside diapers is not the safest. they are designed not to be touched. just be super careful if you use this method!
Amanda Zerull I mean it's only a thin layer of cottonish material between the baby and those chemicals... Is this true?
its called poly acrylate, you can google it and see for yourself
o my
Scary stuff, women's pads too. That's why I went cloth!
Yes it's very toxic. It get absorbed into their skin and trust me, it's an endocrine disruptor.
Who else just randomly scrolls through the comments while watching a video? Or is it just me?!?
OMGoddes yeass I do that allll the time!
Me
It's me too😆😆
Liv m me too

tip:If you don't have paint or food coloring, you could always get a marker and dip the tip in the water
Sahian Garcia yea that’s what I was thinking to do lmao 🤣
@@kannarosie1981 So, you guys want us to buy a whole package of diapers for just one jar (since I just want to make one not twenty. Because: Funfact: I dont have enough space in my (living/bed/working)room for that.) and the final blow will be to kill off new good working markers? no fucking way xD
guys... could I actually use alcohol based marker colors instead? Like those refill-bottles for neopiko2 markers?
@@judithstein3533 IKR? Not to mention the high cost of diapers. I guess one needs to waste money in order to make something pretty. If you happen to have a puppy and use puppy pads, they would work. Also, you could maybe find some sugar free Koolade, or the like, at a dollar store and use that for coloring. I figure if it stains everything else so good, it'll probably work for this project too. It's just an idea. 😊
I always do that 😂
Thanks!
Oh man, the mom side of me cringed when u wasted the diapers haha 😂
toriandfamily lol my mum would have felt the same
I was like, YES! A way to get rid of the last few diapers my daughter can't fit lol
I was thinking, "awesome, I can have use for these pull ups I bought for a little girl I used to babysit and have no use for now" lol.
hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha XD
I'm not even a mom and I was like "what a waste of a perfectly good diapers, super expensive stuff"
That awkward moment when your a teen and asked your mom to buy baby diapers for you
How weirdly did she look at you lol
Ahhh😣😣
You need MORE GLITTAH!! 😁
Omg the second one looks so pretty
And
Who here just watches video like this but does not do it
I bet it would look really good as well if you combined both methods, would give it far more texture and more to look at.
Tattoos&Lipstick I was thinking the same thing... time saver too
Did either of you try it? Did it work out?
Yes it did work and is sooo nice 😍😍
I was thinking of doing this exact way!
Thinking the same thing!!
THIS IS SOOOOOOOO COOOL!!!
IKR!!!
😀
Mega Gumelar you rock like a star
I⃣K⃣R⃣
😍😍 so pretty!! my mums gonna question why i put diapers in the shopping cart 😂
This might be cool to try, after you get all of the fluff out, and are adding more water add some of the color water in as well as some of the paint so that you get a little more of the color and a small marble effect
I have a question. How do you prevent mold growing in the jar?
The second method is better it looks crystallise
I think this was cool. And sooo pretty hun great diy sweetie. I see so mamy negative comments and that is just not cool to me if u dont like it keep it moving dont be nasty but rude people cant help themselves. .. well i enjoyed both ways♡♡♡ keep up the good work !!!
Jenns Nail World Pulled the words right outta my mouth! Thanks Jenn! xo
wendytung you are so welcome Wendy ... have a great rest of your weekend hun :o))
I don't really comment on videos but I just have to say that this is really helpful, thank you
Looks so cool! But i'm wondering, isn't gonna get moldy after a while?
Rhonda Donkervoort I thought this too, maybe use clear school glue or hair gel instead instead?
+FLUFFERKINZ that's a great idea! Personally, I would use some matte mod podge because it dries so clear!
I'm assuming that the colors would bleed through the cotton and mix together.
+IReallyHaveNoIdeaWhyGoogleLetsYourNameBeThisLong they don't.
Butrflyangel Eventually they will, over time, the colors will slowly bleed through because gravity.
Of all the videos I've seen on how to make a galaxy bottle, this is the best one! 😁👍
It's very beautiful and sparkle!!!
💎
Good job!!!!
Wow! Thanks for explaining so clearly I will definitely try this once i buy new food colouring!
I add glitter, and tiny little stars to mine. I took the fluff out of the diapers while dry. Add water and coloring afterwards. Seemed less messy... I used diapers that had one velcro ripped off by accident so I felt better about using them.
beautiful I tried this and it turned out nicely I will put this in my room to make it look cute thank you for sharing this video!❤
Love the diaper trick! Gears are already turning in my head for other things to make with that fluffy gel cottony stuff. LOL
Works great for ice packs
I miss the tumblr vibes days
This is the first video I watch from you and it's amazing 😁👍✌️
Nebby, get in the jar! :3 (I'm making mine the colours of cosmog. It's a pokemon.)
I would use a combination of both methods
wow awesome thank you
i made it it is really brilliant ( it looks )
I wanna use the first method😊
Does this go off after a while?? I am making these for Christmas and obviously I can't give something that will go out of date
I had made it in my project😂😂❤❤
Sameeeee
How long does it last...or does it even you know like get ruined or lose its volume or something so that you have to make another one and can we use food coloring
Sarang Annyeong yes y can use food colering and u can also use water based paints
Was it trending before 4 years because I always see this bottle stuff and it is mostly uploaded before 4 years? 😂
Yup it was a trend in 2016
If you don't have glitter or sparkles, marbles work great! We used marbles and the effect is awesome!
Makin this wish me luck
I use diapers like that and make homemade ice packs with my food vacuum sealer. You can make them any color you want and customize the size of your ice packs. My kids have their own colors and sizes to fit their lunch boxes and its WAY cheaper than buying ice packs! Especially big ones. I have a couple of really big ones that have a mixture of alcohol and water in them to keep them from freezing solid so if you need it to be flexible to put on your head for a headache or wrap around your sprained ankle etc. I would think adding alcohol to the jars would probably keep them from molding also.
Im 20 now and I remember watching this when I was 16, I desperately wanted to make one but never did😪
It's never too late!
Very good!! wonderful!!!! "!"
I did this but with small pads!
Anyone here in October 2019
December..but close enough😅
im making one! (the diaper one) edit:just finshed it and it looks FABULOUS!!
Supplies needed for both:
Jars
Food color or paint:
Purple, pink, blue
Silver glitter big and small
Skewers
Cotton balls
Baby diaper
Disposable cups
Water
Toothpicks
Spoon
Thanks you.
Might try to do this but with glow sticks and the food colored water so that it glows in the dark, wonder if it would work?
sounds good! except the glow Sticks only last for about 5 hours
I've used glow sticks,it does not glow in the dark for long
However, the liquid doesnt mix with water and makes a sort of lava lamp effect so you can still use it and achieve something
Adeline Bechtold use any kind of glow in the dark glue or glow in the dark paint.
I loved this diy I subscribed💛
i feel like people in the comments don't know what decorations are lol i'm sure not everything in your home has to have a purpose besides to be pleasing to the eye, that aside as awesome as this looks it probably has a very little shelf life so i wouldn't make it as a gift
I'm using a pickle jar xD
The best kind 😂😂😂
Awesome
@misha_10400_ r double a r
painting definitely would use less material. However, I'm an awful painter :( Love ya too!

thats a lot of emojj
did your diaper crystals mold after a while.
it's easier to open the diaper first. I had to get the absorbent crystals for a class and it was easier but that was just raiser for me but you do you
GOOD VID
so, I watched a ton of tutorials on these and I really loved the idea of the diaper crystals! I made two for my daughters room last night and I did find that it was much easier to distribute glitter if you add the silver glitter and star confetti to the actual diaper crystals and mix it all together! even distribution of glitter! I wish I could post a pic but it turned out amazing and I have your tutorial to thank for the diaper crystals idea! I personally like it better than the cotton ball method😊 Anyways, just wanted to say thanks for the tutorial, I made a couple and they turned out amazing! 😃❤
I like this and want to make one--my question would be--what happens when it dries?? How long does it actually last...im trying to make prop wizard potions
How long does it last before it blends together?
I wonder if you could use these in solar jar lights.
is it OK if i re-create this on my youtube channel???? (i will link your name in the video)
+Miss.Daydream of course you can :) I own no rights to this idea
VeraMode u literally have nothing on your channel
adorable aleynah wise I had when I posted the comment but I wanna start again soon
leynah forever wise that kinda rude.
Ve lol 2 years later and she still hasn’t posted that video
Coooooooolllll
The inside is polymer crystals and cotton it's a material that's commonly used in gardens and it's a great absorbent as seen in diapers and this project
I'm curious if you just pulled the middle part out and then did the water if it would make a difference
Really helpful. I also made one.It turns out good but not nebula. I want the Color classification of yours.....
This is so gorgeous ❤️😊
Very creative. :)
I feel like if u add an alien or space sticker kind of thing on the side of the jar it would look cute...? Idk.
Here I am thinking..Luvs suck. I'd use it gladly for a project.
thanks my sisters birthday is coming up i will make this for her
I got a question for the first method, after the colour is dry do you get the cotton balls out? Or you leave them inside?
Τhe first color you used for the secong method is blue or purple?
💥WRONG💥 Instead of using a nappy to get the crystals. You could just go to any garden shop and buy a Product called: "WATER STORING CRYSTALS or WATERGEL", depending on where you come from the product name may vary? This is the substance you're referring too in this video. It is Also used for planting during the dryer months when you can't water your plants for some ungodly reason? If the product is in a dry form all you do is add water to the Crystals wait a few minutes for it to expand etc and away you go. It's cost affective and for those that don't have a baby don't have to waste their money and could also use the rest to start a community garden! 👍🌱💧⛅🌈
do u know the cost of these ?? not cheap
tracey leicester Where I come from you can get a small container of it for $4. You can't tell me you can get nappies cheaper then that? 😕
wow!!! its stupidly expensive in the uk as if everything lol
aldi nappies lol
tracey leicester in that case you may as well use homebrand sanitry pads or tampons from the reject shop!!! 👍😂😂😂
i had a problem when I did it that the colors just blended together in the jar when I checked on in the next day. Suggestions?
Instead of using the diaper, you can use fake snow.
the second method looks better for me
Will the cotton balls get moldy or disgusting after a while???
I gave my friend one like 4 years ago and it still looks good
@@raquelberger7909 Thanks, that is surprising 😄
@@melissahernandez4367 yup hahaha
Can I Use Anything Else To Color It Besides Food Coloring? Pls Answer Me
I'm happy with my room now
does it last long?
Can we use gold glitter instead of sliver glitter
i thought it was nutella in a jar lol
Girl Nutella come in a jar.
Okay?
Asuka 1169 I read Nutella too
Man!!! Me too!!!
Asuka lolllll i was going to write this 😂😂😂😂😂
It‘s realy cool
What is inside that diaper is called AGM The cotton like material you say is in there is called CS10 both are Materials that should not come in contact with human skin I work at a diaper company in their lab and we do a lot of testing on our diapers to make sure that there will not be any exposure to CS10 or AGM I do not think this is safe
if they are likely to cause harm to human skin why would they put them inside of a diaper you put on a child!
Very cute. How long does this last? Does it mold over time? Or do the colors start to mix together?
Oof people are going to think that I'm a teen mom after buying those diapers.
Good thing is that I can sell these!
im wondering if they still look good nowadays
what kind of paint did u use there? is it arcylic paint?
Can normal paint be used instead of food colour?
ME:everybodys comments are from a year or more ago me
It's so easy
These turned out so cool! We were looking for something to do on a Saturday. Picked up diapers from the dollar store and bam...project! Thanks!!
Won't these eventually start growing mold ?
........i don't wanna be stuck in a jar
Hola! Hermoso, gracias por compartir ✨ alguien me podría decir cuáles son los materiales?
I could see these being really pretty if you used a Viniq bottle or some wine bottle and put an LED light under it.
I saw this somewhere about 6 years ago.
And you sure i cant eat that later?
From where can i get a jar?🌸
Would mixing the glitter in with the water be a bad idea? I'm going to try it and report back
Edit: mixing it in with the water didn't work, it's just floated on top. However I mixed it in with the fluff from the diaper and that worked very well
How long does this last for before the water starts getting mould growing on it?
okay how long would this last for?
How long do they last
What if you dont have silver glitter
Wow, this tutorial is amazing and I love the 2nd method! ^_^ keep it up! 👍
Can I mix the one and second one ways?
But it smells very bad after 4 - 5 days what we do for this ??????
