@@kannarosie1981 So, you guys want us to buy a whole package of diapers for just one jar (since I just want to make one not twenty. Because: Funfact: I dont have enough space in my (living/bed/working)room for that.) and the final blow will be to kill off new good working markers? no fucking way xD guys... could I actually use alcohol based marker colors instead? Like those refill-bottles for neopiko2 markers?
@@judithstein3533 IKR? Not to mention the high cost of diapers. I guess one needs to waste money in order to make something pretty. If you happen to have a puppy and use puppy pads, they would work. Also, you could maybe find some sugar free Koolade, or the like, at a dollar store and use that for coloring. I figure if it stains everything else so good, it'll probably work for this project too. It's just an idea. 😊
BTW my dad works for a company that makes diapers....the chemicals inside diapers is not the safest. they are designed not to be touched. just be super careful if you use this method!
so, I watched a ton of tutorials on these and I really loved the idea of the diaper crystals! I made two for my daughters room last night and I did find that it was much easier to distribute glitter if you add the silver glitter and star confetti to the actual diaper crystals and mix it all together! even distribution of glitter! I wish I could post a pic but it turned out amazing and I have your tutorial to thank for the diaper crystals idea! I personally like it better than the cotton ball method😊 Anyways, just wanted to say thanks for the tutorial, I made a couple and they turned out amazing! 😃❤
I like this and want to make one--my question would be--what happens when it dries?? How long does it actually last...im trying to make prop wizard potions
The inside is polymer crystals and cotton it's a material that's commonly used in gardens and it's a great absorbent as seen in diapers and this project
That awkward moment when you think you can use a pad instead of a diaper and quickly realize you just ruined a perfectly nice pad... I hate my life right now.
I use diapers like that and make homemade ice packs with my food vacuum sealer. You can make them any color you want and customize the size of your ice packs. My kids have their own colors and sizes to fit their lunch boxes and its WAY cheaper than buying ice packs! Especially big ones. I have a couple of really big ones that have a mixture of alcohol and water in them to keep them from freezing solid so if you need it to be flexible to put on your head for a headache or wrap around your sprained ankle etc. I would think adding alcohol to the jars would probably keep them from molding also.
I think this was cool. And sooo pretty hun great diy sweetie. I see so mamy negative comments and that is just not cool to me if u dont like it keep it moving dont be nasty but rude people cant help themselves. .. well i enjoyed both ways♡♡♡ keep up the good work !!!
Supplies needed for both: Jars Food color or paint: Purple, pink, blue Silver glitter big and small Skewers Cotton balls Baby diaper Disposable cups Water Toothpicks Spoon
If you used mod podge and painted the glitter on the inside of the jars you could place the glitter wherever you wanted and it would stay 😊 it would just take a bit longer to make because the mod podge would need to dry first.
This might be cool to try, after you get all of the fluff out, and are adding more water add some of the color water in as well as some of the paint so that you get a little more of the color and a small marble effect
They sell the powder that is inside of Pampers on Alibaba and AliExpress. You just add water and it quickly rises up almost as if it's snow. 😊 It's cheap and comes with a lot.
I've used glow sticks,it does not glow in the dark for long However, the liquid doesnt mix with water and makes a sort of lava lamp effect so you can still use it and achieve something
ok, water does not last forever will eventually smell and get mould i think the point of these glitter jars is for short use, xmas lol but ive used small jars and given them out
I add glitter, and tiny little stars to mine. I took the fluff out of the diapers while dry. Add water and coloring afterwards. Seemed less messy... I used diapers that had one velcro ripped off by accident so I felt better about using them.
How long does it last...or does it even you know like get ruined or lose its volume or something so that you have to make another one and can we use food coloring

I wonder if you sprayed the inside of empty jar with hairspray and then put glitter inside while wet and shook it alot until it dried and sticked and then just layer and subtly mix each layer
_if you wanna get the sticky stuff off of it, mix cooking oil and baking soda together, put it on the jar and wait about 15 minutes, and then wash it and it should come off_
After a couple of weeks, expect the colours to blend together. It doesnt stay as seperated and pretty for long
true.. but if you use a really lil amount of water it wont. tho what she did is a bit runny so yes the colours willl mix slowly
@〜I see that I'm ICY〜 did you do both methods ?
tip:If you don't have paint or food coloring, you could always get a marker and dip the tip in the water
Sahian Garcia yea that’s what I was thinking to do lmao 🤣

Just a thought to make this super exciting...wrap a small string of fairy lights around the jar. Then light it up to sparkle and shine ❤️🇨🇦
*Instead of diapers you can buy fake snow or hyrdo gel for the second method*

I thought fake snow would work!!
It looks like crushed orbeez/water crystals to me. Wouldnt need food coloring then
I bet it would look really good as well if you combined both methods, would give it far more texture and more to look at.
Tattoos&Lipstick I was thinking the same thing... time saver too
Did either of you try it? Did it work out?
Yes it did work and is sooo nice 😍😍
I was thinking of doing this exact way!

Amanda Zerull I mean it's only a thin layer of cottonish material between the baby and those chemicals... Is this true?
its called poly acrylate, you can google it and see for yourself
o my
Scary stuff, women's pads too. That's why I went cloth!
Yes it's very toxic. It get absorbed into their skin and trust me, it's an endocrine disruptor.
If you don't have glitter or sparkles, marbles work great! We used marbles and the effect is awesome!
Omg the second one looks so pretty
And
Who here just watches video like this but does not do it
Of all the videos I've seen on how to make a galaxy bottle, this is the best one! 😁👍

Girl just as she said diaper I wondered if a pad would work, so thanks for the save
I would have thought pad and diaper had the same absorbing stuff inside too. LOL Thanks for the heads up.
No Soup For You ::: wow I thought the same thing but I did not try it
Love the diaper trick! Gears are already turning in my head for other things to make with that fluffy gel cottony stuff. LOL

Oh they are both so pretty I think I will combine them. I have so many dlitters to choose from. Can't wait.
These turned out so cool! We were looking for something to do on a Saturday. Picked up diapers from the dollar store and bam...project! Thanks!!
These would look so cute and different on the tables at a wedding!
Oh man, the mom side of me cringed when u wasted the diapers haha 😂
toriandfamily lol my mum would have felt the same
I was like, YES! A way to get rid of the last few diapers my daughter can't fit lol
I was thinking, "awesome, I can have use for these pull ups I bought for a little girl I used to babysit and have no use for now" lol.
hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha XD
I'm not even a mom and I was like "what a waste of a perfectly good diapers, super expensive stuff"
The best galaxy jar tutorial that I ever Seen
The second method is better it looks crystallise
Nice! My grandson and I are gonna make some of these!! 😊 Thanks for the idea/inspiration. 🎊🎉
You need MORE GLITTAH!! 😁
I would use a combination of both methods
I did the same second method , but instead of a diapper I used a patt , it turned out pretty :)

Looks so cool! But i'm wondering, isn't gonna get moldy after a while?
Rhonda Donkervoort I thought this too, maybe use clear school glue or hair gel instead instead?
+FLUFFERKINZ that's a great idea! Personally, I would use some matte mod podge because it dries so clear!
I'm assuming that the colors would bleed through the cotton and mix together.
+IReallyHaveNoIdeaWhyGoogleLetsYourNameBeThisLong they don't.
Butrflyangel Eventually they will, over time, the colors will slowly bleed through because gravity.
Method one is more realistic and it looks like there are clouds in it its so cute and cool 💗☺️
It's actually easier to leave the diaper dry because once you open it you can just pour it out. it's normally in a bead form.
I love how pretty it looks! Definitely gonna make one for my desk :)
Might try to do this but with glow sticks and the food colored water so that it glows in the dark, wonder if it would work?
sounds good! except the glow Sticks only last for about 5 hours
I've used glow sticks,it does not glow in the dark for long
However, the liquid doesnt mix with water and makes a sort of lava lamp effect so you can still use it and achieve something
Adeline Bechtold use any kind of glow in the dark glue or glow in the dark paint.

How many days were u able to keep it? Doesn't it get smelly?
ok, water does not last forever will eventually smell and get mould i think the point of these glitter jars is for short use, xmas lol but ive used small jars and given them out
I had made it in my project😂😂❤❤

that is so awesome!! I would have love to seen these 2 mixied :)
I could see these being really pretty if you used a Viniq bottle or some wine bottle and put an LED light under it.
😍😍 so pretty!! my mums gonna question why i put diapers in the shopping cart 😂
really cool, turned out really pretty , thanks for sharing
it looks really cool if you use gold glitter.

That looks SOOO PRETTTYYY
This is the first video I watch from you and it's amazing 😁👍✌️
Very cute. How long does this last? Does it mold over time? Or do the colors start to mix together?
You could mix the glitter in the diaper stuff directly instead of putting it in the jar. I think thats easier
OMG!! I love love loveeee the second one! I’m totally going to make it more my galaxy themed bedroom! 🌌😍
Looks great! Thanks for showing two different ways!! Love ur vids!
i did the baby diper one and it looks so cool
i would never think of a babys nappy to use ty for the vid
I think for the 2nd method, you could use instant snow if you have that.
How long does it last...or does it even you know like get ruined or lose its volume or something so that you have to make another one and can we use food coloring
Sarang Annyeong yes y can use food colering and u can also use water based paints

thanks my sisters birthday is coming up i will make this for her
Boho Hobo We have to do this this is what im going to do!!
I love this! So beautiful. I was wondering if you could tell me exactly which brand/colour colouring you used for this?
She used Wilson food coloring
These jars are really pretty but I think painting the jars would be more easier and less wasteful. Anyways still a good diy. Love you girl!!!
Was it trending before 4 years because I always see this bottle stuff and it is mostly uploaded before 4 years? 😂
