When I was in 6th grade, we had a project that we did with a cigar box. We did the string thing all over the lid in filigree. Then we took foil, crumbled it up. Straighten it out a bit. Glued it all over the outside of the box and lid. Then took the black paint all over the box outside by dabbling it on and dabbling off on the other parts. Made it look antique.
You just brought back memories.

FINALLY! Ive been looking for some really pretty and colorful ideas, but so many try to make these ugly, boring monotone " high-end" looking things, or "farmhouse", also boring, or "bling" where they just put glitter and rhinestones all over things! I'm so unimpressed, though some have good techniques. You however turn out pieces that are truly beautiful, innovative, colorful! Bravo for being that majestic outlier going against the mundane tide!😁😁😁😁💜💜💜💜💜
