If Fentriss was a true hater, there is no way he would be on this show. I think he is trying to be objective in his reviews.
Go back and look at the game 4 years ago, no one thought Oregon qwould win. This year, some did, but the overwhelming opnion was that OSU would win.

Fentress is why I stopped watching this show. Hates the team and makes clear how much. Because he wasn't close to that caliber a player. Simple dumb shock takes a toddler can see through

Like committing defensive pass interference to prevent a TD catch is not cheating. It is strategy, and there is a consequence of committing penalties.

Any discussion of officiating in that game begins and ends with refs gifting Bassa's catch to OSU leading to 7 extra points and a huge momentum swing at beginning of game.

This was the greatest Home game in my 54 years of watching the Ducks. The Pick was the next greatest win. It is also my choice of the greatest game for Dan Lanning.
best game in Autzen history! Top 5 teams and I never felt like we needed a 'miracle' to pull off a win. It felt like we are supposed to be there, on par with the Bigs.
I love this show, but sometimes all the talking over each others get tiresome.
Just think about if we had Birch that game. It would be a totally different game defensively. We would have stopped Ohio State more often.

We didn't have Kayvon when we went to the shoe, and we won that game too. Twice in a row we were missing our best defender and the results were both W's. Bucks vs Duck s is the new BIG10 rivalry.

Three reasons Oregon outplayed Ohio State : Oregon had more rushing yards, more passing yards and more points. Ohio State isn't the better team.
It's sad that one of the thoughts I had after this monumental home win for Oregon was "TAKE THAT FENTRESS!". lol

What’s funny to me is when Lanning called timeout we had a DL closing in on a sack, which would have made it even more difficult for OSU to rally.
I really like George.
I listen to his podcast weekly. He isn't a homer. Of course he loves his Ducks but he is honest about the good and the bad.
Our coaching beat their coaching.. our players beat their players. our fans beat their fans. our score beat their score. WE WON!
The defense took the ball TWICE from OSU. The refs failed to give us the ball on the first one. Ohio state was held to 24 points. End of story

Great show. Love Jordan Kent. Much better cohesion and flow amongst the group when he is there. George Wrighster is a great addition to this group and moving forward they should have him on instead of the Dan Rubenstein segment which adds nothing of substance for me
This is when the season really starts coming up with Purdue tomorrow night. The Ducks always talking about going 1 and 0 each week. It starts now, no slip ups, stay focused and take care of business. The Burch injury lets hope is not going to last too long, they didn't really say much about it other then there is some concern moving forward. Dude is a beast and they will need him healthy if they are going to win the Title. Harmon is a beast as well though, Love watching that dude play
For me, beating Russell Wilson and Wisconsin was a bigger feeling but that wasn’t at Autzen haha Washington scares me most, when it comes to the rest of the schedule. Arizona didn’t get hot last year till the second half of the season and they ended as the hottest team in the nation. Combine that with Washington being the team Lanning hasn’t beaten yet and I’m definitely worried about our last regular season game.
This could be a program altering win as far as recruiting goes. Was one of the biggest recruiting weekends ever. 10+ million people watching on TV, and had a laundry list of elite recruits on campus, and they got the whole experience.
If Lanning and co. can parlay this into a special season and capitalize with top recruiting classes spurn from this game, it could definitely be program altering. But it’s TBD.
Man…I hope we get Burch back soon. Defense played pretty well, but he’s a complete game wrecker. I think he could have completely changed that game, especially against those backup D lineman. We’ll need him back to make a deep playoff run.
I am so proud of the defensive line and the way they stepped up! Those young players had themselves a night!

With regard to the defense, yes they allowed 469 yards against on some peoples list, the best team in the country. I think we take the W knowing this group is growing, finish out the regular season also knowing that round 2 against them will be a dogfight and that you'll have more production on both sides of the ball come December.
There's a reason rankings don't get attention in the NFL, playoffs. With the new era in CFB rankings are near worthless as Oregon can control it's destiny with play on the field. We don't need to engage in style points anymore, just focus on developing players and stacking wins.
Today Joey doesn't hate on the Ducks that much.
I think Joey's outtakes are much like Coach's. Dan says "Rankings don't matter, it's all about the next game, the next play..." Celebrate the play or the game and focus on what's next. GO DUCKS!
Ducks will win national championship
Ducks should have won by more. Forget the 12 man penalty. They need to take points. 2 potential Extra points, 2 FG and who knows if the interception would have changed much. Plus, Red Zone efficiency needs to improve.
Not a fan of Stein calling red zone plays. Reminds me of Stanford blowing the ND game years back trying to stuff it between the tackles. The Ducks are too talented to waste it on a rugby scrum.
The Ohio State 100% program changing. 100+ at the game, with Ohio st commits, and OSU targets looking to maybe commit to the ducks over the bucks. This will accelerate the Ducks taking over the conference 2-3yrs sooner. Urban didn’t know he was helping Oregon recruit, but when he said this is the best roster he’s seen the last 15yrs, if not ever, and we beat them, after spending $20M on the roster…and we beat them two in a row, along with being the leader in the conference that everyone said we would struggle in…is why this accelerates things with this win. Joey n Company is just unaware of the factors off the field. And they might be a little burned out on thinking we are gonna win a national title, and then it doesn’t happen.
Either way, this is the biggest win in the Lanning era, and it will pay dividends for the 2025 and 2026 recruiting classes. Especially when we beat Ohio State again.
2-3 years sooner? Look around. We already took over the conference. Now we just have to keep playing Duck vs Them and we win the B1G ship. As a fan assuming we're undefeated entering the playoff, we'll be ranked 1 or 2 and have the best statistical odds of winning it ALL.
@@jeremyphillippe3141 We still gotta win the Big10 championship, and if it’s Ohio State, it will basically be a home game with 80% of the stadium rocking the buckeyes gear. But had we lost that game last Saturday, it would’ve changed the narratives with recruiting, and who can dominate this conference. Beating OSU year 1 of the Big10 essentially shows we aren’t going to be another Penn State. We can be the dominant force in cfb and the B1G, and we aren’t there yet, but we are close. You know you’re the top, when you’re out recruiting Ohio State, like Oregon started out-recruiting USC.
