Quacker backer since 1970 and I was waiting to clown you, but this is a great show. Possibly (my opinion) the greatest coach that the Ducks have have had it the history of the program. I love this guy. And just like Phil Knight, I refuse to die before the Ducks win the National Championship.

Just wish he would’ve stayed away from negotiations until that season was over. They really need to make that a rule that teams and coaches can’t be in talks until the National Championship is over. Too many distractions and it effects recruiting.

Been a fan since the boise state loss in 09 and I have never been as confident in a coach's ability to get the Ducks to the playoff and beyond. Chip was great but Lanning is a defensive mind that appreciates offense and taking risks unlike Cristobal. I've never been more excited for the future regardless of talent

this is the closest we’ve been at that level in recent years. we were nice with herbie but our offense left so much on the table but now we’re maximizing our talents like the chip era
Chip is like that really smart guy in your class who doesn't study but will ace everything. Dan Lanning is the guy who isn't necessarily the smartest on day 1 but he's the hardest worker in the room and will figure things out (and do it forever consistently) once he's given enough time to develop.
Lanning when he talks about anything football related I'm ready to Kool aid man through a wall for that man and being a guy who lost his mom to cancer at a young age I definitely feel what he is or had been going through I hope his lady is doing good and can be around to watch their babies grow old it's hard losing a parent no matter if it's dad or mom especially being younger as kids don't have a grasp on what's going on life's already to short as it is so to Mrs Lanning keep fighting hard all we can do is take it one day at a time I have loved watching the program evolve into what it's become even last year when things didn't go so well on the field I always have faith Dan will right the ship and I don't think I'm the only one that is happy you're in Eugene Oregon coach now let's finish this journey for all the players currently and in the past and most definitely for Spencer Let's Go Ducks and let's go get ours with washington next weekend as it's been a sour taste in my mouth I'm definitely a little more excited about this season then years past and I really hope Bo gets to place the Heisman trophy next to Marcus' this year in Oregon's trophy room I'll always be a fan of Lanning as there differences in him and coach Tomlin of the Steelers being the players coach but still holding everyone accountable there is a reason Tomlin hasn't had a losing season in Pittsburgh he gets the best out of his players and is relatable to those players and I'm a die hard eagles fan saying that

I get the vibe from DL that he wants to be for Oregon what Saban is for Alabama. When you think of Alabama, you think of Saban; when you think Saban, you think of Alabama. The great thing is he doesnt have a powerhouse alma mater like Backstabbin' Willie T at Florida State or Mario "The Quarterback Killer" Cristobal at Miami. For Lanning, Oregon is the dream job. He'll get all the love and support here that he could get at any other school. I think he'll be our coach for a long time to come.
The demeanor, the action, and the practice Dan Lanning would be a phenomenal mentor! Being from south texas I don't see this type of Mental Focus from coaches his age... It's been 62 years since the RGV won a state title... SIXTY-TWO.
With the Ducks going to B1G it's hard to believe Dan will leave for anything other than a Bama or Georgia HC position. He'll follow the Kirby path and build a team through years of recruiting. Other coaches leap frog jobs every few years.

Onside kick when you were ahead, and I can't remember when Oregon had come from behind, but forever remember them losing, when they had a lead in the 4th quarter. I remember the Ducks having to score 50 points in the first half just because the second half, the opposing team would run over us. I watched the Ducks take a 31-0 halftime lead and then piss it away and lose 47-41. Watching them come back from behind against WSU last year was something I'd NEVER seen in 50 years. College degrees are mostly a scam except for doctors lawyers etc. I work in the aerospace CNC industry as a tooling engineer and I don’t have a degree. These colleges charge so much for a degree it’s crazy. Then you hear they spending 300 million on a practice facility.
