I have the Type S. Leased it and got a great deal. The suv is solid in handling and you feel how sturdy the car is made. One thing I will say that I hate on this is the emergency braking system. I was at a stop not close to the car in front waiting to turn. There was a huge suv right on my ass. I took off and the EBS engaged and I'm lucky that vehicle behind me didn't rear end me. The only other bad thing about this vehicle is the charging stations are far and few in between for me. We have charging for our Tesla at home and my husband got an adapter so I can charge my car at home. We will be putting in a Tesla Universal charger in our garage so it will charge fast. Acura says that Tesla is working on a adapter for this vehicle so it can charge at any Tesla charger. In Texas, you better know where you need to charge if you are on the road for a long time. Other than these gripes, the ZDX is fun to drive and very comfortable. It took me 3 months to decide on a vehicle and this was my best decision. Sorry so long.

Definitely looks like a hearse! But it drives like an MDX somehow. I loved driving it...The low ground clearance is the one thing idk if I can get over. As it stands, the only MDX I can consider is the type-s because it's the only one anywhere near the 2nd gen 8.3" clearance capacity.
Its just the premise of the ZDX that's wrong: you buy and acura for the longevity and the Honda-ness. Sure it looks cool on the bodywork and the interior but the whole powertrain being a GM negates why people opt for Acuras in the first place.

This ZDX makes no sense. The original ZDX was a bomb. Why reuse the name? Did Honda have too many badges in stock? Is this a sedan? A wagon? A SUV? I am confused. Why didn't Honda / Acura attack the Tesla Model 3 market? Why follow the status with another strange car? Why not make a smaller electric sedan that is cheaper than the Model 3 and really attack Tesla?
I got to the part where Lynn is introduced, and to my horror and surprise, All I could see is that odd aluminum trim line that makes this thing look like an old Cadillac hearse from 20-30 yrs ago. Why not a Hybrid? Hard Hell No on this one, based on that trim line and all EV too.
How ironic that the Acura version of the platform looks like a vintage 60's/70's Caddilac hearse and the Caddilac version of the platform doesn't. Hilarious.
@Stefin770 coincidentally I saw both the Cadillac and the Acura when I was tailgating this Saturday in person they both look much better. The Cadillac's rear end looks pretty good in person in my opinion and the Acura looks pretty good overall in person.
