Run kinda crumbled after jumping from the roof but as far as I'm aware this is the first(?) sub 2 solo.

I got around 10 minutes for both stealth and loud which i was also pretty proud of, but this is something else
he restarted it, otherwise he can't know the code instantly

Now, i know this is about speedrunning, not progressing efficiently...but i was thinking.
After release, to grind money or level up this is kind of useless right,since no/few challenges? Or is it still a good way?
Thanks and yeah it's hard to tell how efficient this would be for money/levels. I think the way you can skip the executive objective and computer hack is going to get patched, since it feels unintended. But If it doesn't and you can still do it this way, i would look into some of the 100% casing mode runs some other players have done. By not masking up you can mitigate almost all of the risk of getting spotted when moving bags for like a slightly slower route from the vault to the van.

How do people figure out what wire to cut? I always just guessed it when me and my friend did a duo raid without putting on our mask.
If you look at the video at 0:50, the panel you interact with tells you which colored switch you're supposed to flip. It might be hard to see in the vid but in this run I got the green circle on the panel and therefore needed to flip the green switch 👍

Do officers not get alerted when breaking windows?
They can barely hear it breaking (if at all, don't know actually), but if they see a broken window they will investigate it
Does advanced always keep the red room on the second floor? Ive never had to go to the roof while playing stealth
I think you can get all 3 possible red kc rooms independent of difficulty, dunno tho
I have no idea what's going on. If you don't answer a pager it only goes into search?
If you don't answer a pager it will count as 2 pagers (out of the 4 you have on normal) and a nearby guard will be sent to check the situation. If you answer/miss more pagers than you can afford you'll enter search, and answering/missing yet another pager while being in search + not having enough pagers would trigger loud. But missing a pager in search is fine if you still have pagers to spare (i think this is how it works, didn't test this system too in depth).

How did you got the code for the vault right first try?
this game is based on seeds now, like Minecraft; unless they cancel match then rematchmake for it. This means u could spend two hours studying the map with the same keycard locations, power boxes, vault codes, cameras, etc...
wait wait ... why guard never alert the glass breaking sound? PD2 always heard the breaking sound and alert it.
I think the noise made from breaking glass is heavily reduced, and even if a guard were to hear it they would have to walk up and investigate the glass first before initiating search

The game isn't modded, the gameplay is from the open beta build of the game. If you're talking about weapon mods i just kitted the pistol with a suppressor and whatever else that improved handling 👍
how do people know the vault code without searching the papers?
The code remains between resets, so if you figure it out in an earlier attempt you don't need to find it again

just a decent seed. Its not as impressive with seeds now. Anyone can now just keep reloading game until they get a crazy easy seed then study the ends and outs for 2 hours before they attempt their runs. Still cool to see sub 2 mins tho.

This isn't a speedrun, you knew the red card door was on the roof and put in the code first try meaning you did a run and then restarted it
Anyone under five could do the same thing, it doesn't make it impressive
I can't see why this wouldn't be a speedrun. The devs decided to add consistent rng between attempts, and sure that's exploitable but that's usually fair game when it comes to speedrunning.
Obviously there are improvements to be made to the run itself, I just wanted to share what I thought was the first use of this route and possibly the first sub 2 (don't know for sure if that's the case), but you're free to do a cleaner run if you want.

Jokes aside, consistent RNG is HUGE for Speedruns. I'm definitely gonna join the scene when the game comes out :D
I agree, to pull this off you have to add the time it takes to get the code in the first place otherwise it wouldnt be possible. So this is only a snippet of the complete run.
