Garry is one of the most natural and quickest wits ever. I love him so. I’ve always spent the most amount of time with Norm but I adore TLSS and got the DVD set and watched all the interviews. I love that Garry did not really fit in with Hollywood despite being in the heart of it for most of his adult life. I know we give too much credit to celebrities, but I feel like Garry could never get enough.
It's very interesting watching this interview after the HBO documentary on Garry, especially in regards to the film and his interactions with Mike Nichols. When you're promoting something you definitely have to put a positive spin on everything that happened while making it and the finished product.
To be an interviewer on American television you must interupt, interject & badger, as cloyingly as possible & ultimately make the interview about oneself. It's in the Handbook.

Miss Garry so much.
Great social commentary. Ebert missed it completely. ⭐
Far better than the first - 1998- interview. Only the last few minutes of the 1998 show are comparable to this - no fault of Garry's.
Love 2 hear how it all comes together.
Smart guy. Great entertainer.
Super clip Charlie and Garry.

As much as it flopped, I actually quite liked the movie
Oddly content Gary Shandlin says he is as getting older is very profound
Garry is so female yet such a dude and necessary 🎉
Charlie's ego shows here.
