They got the talent, it's the songwriting that is lacking and what an amazing songwriter Chris Cornell was. Temple Of The Dog is a raw diamond and Miguel & Nikka Costa made it shine bright in the night to honor Chris talent.

@@miless544 No, they were still close. It’s just that Vicky Cornell’s mother insulted and criticized him because he wasn’t at the funeral. Eddie hasn’t said much about Chris’ death, but did say recently on Howard Stern that he’s never really recovered from it. In that same interview, Eddie said that he also lost his brother less than a year before Chris died. Vicky has also insulted Eddie’s wife on social media, so I don’t blame him for not showing up to these functions. Really unfortunate

Also he was also honoring the memory of Natasha Schneider, his late wife that played keyboards on that album and toured with Chris back in 2000. As a couple, they played with a lot of grunge/rock/alternative bands and artists from QOTSA to PJ Harvey. They used to be an underrated alternative rock trio called Eleven with drummer Jack Irons from RHCP fame.

Bárbara Melián Miguel is hands down my fav all time! He is never the same in a album, a chameleon in rnb and rock n roll and soul.
