Omg I completely slept through my alarm (I'm a few hours behind you), I legit was looking forward to this stream, woke up, went "nooooooo!" And here I am hours later, because I literally have only been able to be awake for three hours. It's 5PM where I'm at (AZ), and I literally slept from last night, to 10am, and then again from 1-5. I'm so exhausted. Oh my god. The River cam is 10000000000000% appreciated. I'm going to ask a question & post this comment before I finish watching this, so if it's answered, great, if not, that's okay! Likewise, I want to thank you for making these Q&As. It's extremely helpful, and I'll be super honest, it's so amazing that you are who you are and do what you do. My question is this: I'm aware that you can have bladder dysfunction w/MS. Can that translate into urine going back into the kidneys when you're asleep? What causes that specifically in MS, if it's a thing? Thanks for making this video, going to keep listening/watching, and I'll catch you on the flip side.
Hey Dr. Boster, You and others recommend supplementing with creatine to improve gait, but no one mentions its effect on cognitive abilities, since it is creatine that is recommended for people suffering from Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's. So I am interested in whether there are any benefits for people suffering from MS as far as cognitive difficulties and not just gait problems? Thanks!
The adjustments you have made to the production are so perfect and appreciated. Thanks for listening. The calmer scenes, “oh ya” and “water challenge” graphics and volume - are right on! Love you addressing prior questions and the somewhat predictability of Saturday morning timing for these. All that and your relatable and knowledgeable content is GOLD! Thank you and God bless you Dr B.
Excellent Q& A - I’m catching up now. All great questions from the community. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and opinions with us- they only can help us be the BEST we can be. #StrongerTogether
If you could ever say thank you to MS, now would be that time for me. I've been diagnosed with seronegative RA and after 3 medication fails I was faced with the decision to change my DMT for my MS which has kept me stable for 8 years now. As scary as it was for me, I had to make the change because of the RA being so aggressive. I've had my first infusion of Rituximab and due for another in October. My MS seems to be cooperating with these changes while we try to get the RA under control and for this it like to say thank you to my MS! Sorry i missed your actual live and hope to catch it sometime
What were you taking for MS? I was Dx with Sero negative RA as well. My Rheumatologist put me on Hydroxychloroquine and it worked like a charm. I heard the best treatment if MS and RA is Ocrevus.
About 10 years ago I began taking probiotics, my thought was because I had been on Tetracycline and other antibiotics for years to treat acne. Just the name "probiotics" sounded like a good idea. :-) I am a super fan since as my digestive system began to "work" what I believe to be much better in that I was super less gassy. My husband can attest for that. Probiotics made huge difference in that area, and the whole process of digestion is mostly pain-free and runs much smoother.
Hi from Israel how impressive you give us the information so simple that every one can understand to me as a nurse is OK to have medical information but to others isn't keep going dear Dr God bless you
Another follow up question :) If PIRA is observational, separate from attacks on an MRI, how do you if progression is due to MS or due to aging changes? I'm 60 but everything cannot be blamed on MS, correct? How do I distinguish?
This is just awesome, love the format between previous questions and live questions. Thank you so much Dr Boster. Love the River cam ❤ and the sea scene. I wonder if you could alternate livestreams between Saturday morning and an evening (6pm EST)? I always share your videos on support groups 😁. 🔥🔥💖🔥🔥
Hi Dr. Boster, I have one more question besides my question of, if in your experience have you seen O bands decrease with 2 infusions of Ocrevus, Jan/Feb 2021 and Jan/Feb 2022 of Mavenclad? My other question : I’m interested in the buffer C supplement. It stated they it will boost your immune system. I thought we were supposed to not take any supplements that boost our immune system or did misunderstand something? Thank you Stephanie
Hi Dr. Boster, thank you for your ask anything's! As a follow up question to your leaky pool discussion, can you please share which, if any, DMT's do NOT help with accelerated brain volume loss? Thank you!
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, so informative great therapy for anyone affected by MS , love the river pet cam and water challenge, have an awesome day.
Sorry I missed your live question and answer time. I have relapsing remitting MS since 2004. The last seven years I’ve experienced difficulty when I swallow and gagging or feeling like something stuck in my throat. I’ve had an endoscopy done by the gastrologist, and I’ve also just had a esophagram done with an ENT doctor. Both came back no problems. I’m at a loss. I feel like it might be the vagus nerve that is, not working and affecting that all. What would you advise to be the next step? Should I go see my neurologist, and have them explores?
QUESTION: my doctor said I have remote right cerebellar lacunar type infarcts. What is that? Is that a lesion? He kept explaining in medical terms and I didn’t understand it. I looked at my results online and it doesn’t help anymore. Just says “few nonspecific scattered foci of T2 hyper intensities are seen in the periventricular and subcritical white matter. Remote right cerebellar lacunar type infarct.” This doesn’t make sense.
Hello, from the Blue Ridge Mountains. I have decreased memory, speech difficulty, and some confusion. This has been occurring over the last year or two. I was told it was because of my age, 58. I am not happy with this anwer. Suggestion?
Hi ,I have Antiphospholipid syndrome. And s123 tarlov spinal cyst. I'm currently waiting for mri brain and cervical spine results. Query ms. What will mri report say if its ms England
Hello dr Boster, yesterday i had my mri, but they only did my brain without fluid and not my back. I wonder if this is ok. Do you know? Thank you for your answer
Doctor B, Hi I want to say I love the River cam, she's such a beautiful, sweet girl. I have an appointment with you Wednesday & look forward to talking to you then & I do have alot of questions so I'll save them for Wednesday. Love your channel always.❤ ❤️
My last follow up question :) You mentioned you're not ok with Gilenya going generic. What about Tecfidera's generic? Do you feel the same about Tecfidera's generic? Have you seen breakthrough activity on patients who switched from Tecfidera to generic? Thank you!
I appreciate your videos I was diagnosed in 2013 currently on ocrevus I've tested positive for the JC virus so neurologist is looking to put me on kimsempta in my reading on this Ms treatment it just sounds like ocrevus through a different pharmacy if you could touch some on ocrevus and kimsempta on a future video I love to here any difference between the two
A serious question, how can MS affect mood swings. I've never been a big cryer but now I find myself doing just that then getting mad over little things that I shouldn't?
I missed the live stream 🫤, but I had hoped to asked the following question: is it possible to have heat cause pseudo-relapses even if you aren't setting foot outside or getting overheated?
There are many things that can cause pseudo flares- if you are not getting warm - or overheating- it’s probably not it- but dehydration, underlying infection ( uti big hidden culprit a lot of times) , not getting good sleep, over doing it , can all cause symptoms to aggravate. Hugs

I'm 58, and my docs are saying it's my age. At 58 I shouldn't sound and think like an 80-85 y/o.
I do not have MS, but know someone, a beautiful young lady, an RN. I try to learn about MS.

After the peak of MS in 10 years, will the life path be average or more difficult? Guys, let's ask you a question.
Generally gets worse as time goes on. But you'll handle it, the same way you handle it every time things get worse now! Best blessings from Jerusalem!
