Just ordered mine yesterday 2020 B180 with all the bells and whistles, mine has charging pad, ambient lightening, completely voice activated, AMG styling, heated seats, night pack...everything, can’t wait.
9:15 *I have a 2019 Mercedes B200CDi AMG [Blue Diesel 8 Speed Auto with **_Freewheel_** in ECO Mode] that can manage up to have seen 85.6 MPG recorded and over 700 miles **_Range_** which blows Electric Cars totally away. - I did consider waiting for the to be launched shortly A& B Series Hybrid Models to be announced- however did find out that these were going to cost around £5k more, so work it out - simples - overall 1731 Mile Journey at realistic 70 mpg would have used 24.72 Gallons @ £1.69 per Liter [£7.67 a UK Gallon] would have cost £189.66 = 0.1095p Per Mile !*
The B-Class is actually selling very well here in Germany... I've got one. It's not beautiful but practical and it drives well. That's really all anyone would need.
3:40 *Phone Audio Bluetooth Mode, actually displays Album Art of track playing, and can scroll to next track very easy. If you have Apple/Google built in then you obviously you have Sat-Nav (**2:25**) By the way at **6:34** They do not kill Cows for their Leather, but to EAT. At **6:59** you can open boot by 'swiping' foot underneath, very handy if you have 2 shopping bags and close it the same way. There is also a button to 'close' boot and lock car. ECO Mode (**10:00**) puts the car into Neutral and sets engine to tick over 'freewheels' - it's amazing how far you can go with kinetic energy, and a meter shows you how much 'bonus' you have achieved. On a recent 19 mile run I managed 3½ Miles of 'FreeWheeling' Sorry BOB FLAVIN YOU HAVE NO IDEA OF WHAT THIS CAR IS CAPABLE OF AND ALTHOUGH WATCHED MANY OF YOU OTHER REVIEWS THIS ONE IS "A BRIDGE TOO FAR"*
Bob, please be the first car reviewer who actually adjusts the headrest in the backseat. It´s unbelievable how little adjustment there is sometimes. Other than that, great review as always.
Hello Bob, I intend to buy a vw touran sh 2.0 tdi dsg and being very expensive(all the cars are expensive now), I also thought about a B klasse, which is close in terms of price, what do you think between the two?
*YES INDEED and you do not have to say He Mercedes - button on Steering Wheel and if Smartphone connected can ask Google - PS USB c is the future and gives many benefits - easy connection - High Charging Rate etc !*
Another great review, I guess USB-C is the future, just need a cheap cable to make your phone or tablet work. What is the watch you are wearing? Looks nice and clear for my old eyes!
Looks like a fish, has the engine of a Dacia, the ground clearance of a sports car, the interior full of cheap tablet screens and is priced like a luxury car. What's not to love?
@@BobFlavinVideo Haha! Thanks Bob! I used to write about cars, once upon a time. I was being a bit mean, but on a more serious level, I do like it. It's a great family hatchback, particularly for those looking to find something a bit more refined than the Golf MPV version. At least I can appreciate that Mercedes still makes it, in this SUV obsessed world. The only thing that's a deal breaker for me is the ground clearance is is just too small, especially if you live in a place with strong winter and deep potholes.
@@Cathandroo I bought one for $1 on ebay. Lasted 2 months. Waste of time esp if for important usage like business. I prefer to pay a bit more for a cable and it last years ;-)
Electronic dashboard is a big no I'm afraid, the tablet screens just stick out like a sore thumb. Give me a traditional dashboard with physical working needles. Yes perhaps the center of the dash can stay electronic but all the other information, just no...

How is your experience so far? Thinking of the B200 AMG line.

Nice relaxed review of this underrated little mpv. In a few years it will be a good second hand buy.
I agree on all you said ☺

It's sad they didn't come up with a 7 seat version , like the BMW 2 Series.

Charlles Costa dont what?

Like the new B-Class☑️
The Bs are the most practical cars built in recent years. Great job Mercedes

Great review Bob!!! Just hoping you come this year to the Finnish Car Fair this October!!!
If someone wants to send me tickets for the flights I'll be there with big boots on!

@bob in your opinion which is more comfortable, this or the Q3 1.5 tsi ?
That's a nice looking thing!
Nice review Bob, just wondering if the B class has MBUX voice control? Because You didn't mention it.
They all have it as far as I know, it's hard to test in video so I might have to do a single video on the system
@@BobFlavinVideo I understand, it would be cool to see when you say Hey mercedes open the sunroof and it actually opens 😉

Not trying to sound obvious, but take that AMG kit off and you're getting a decently functional Merc for the price of a Skoda Scala...
Spot on, but buy now because WLTP is driving the price of cars up later this year
not sure about the pricing of Mercs in your country, but where I live Scala is probably 2/3 the price of new B class.
@@kristiaan1 I was comparing with the price Bob quoted in his Skoda Scala review - €34K in Ireland. This is insane.
That was a good rear cup holder robustness test. Pass Mercedes.
Yep, I didn't break it

Mercedes B-Class - then it should have USB-B :)
6 bucks for a new cable. No biggy...
You didn't have to spend that 6 bucks
Where do you shop? Plenty for £1 on Ebay for an adaptor then you can keep your beloved cables..

I just got 4 cables for 5 quid. plus the car is future proofed when more things use the USB standard. win win.
well in silver anyhow
Noice car.
Mercedes seem to be trying to cover every possible segment these days. Still looks a bit odd (the car that is not the reviewer 😂)
They just need an affordable 7 seats car. Maybe a longer version of the B series.
Don't worry, I'm a bit odd!
@@CharllesC78 I always felt they missed a trick with 7 seats by removing the R Class

Those days are gone my friend. Almost every new car has digital gauges nowadays
*€50 Extra*
Disagree. far more information at hand and at eye level which means less need to take eyes away from the road to look at the middle screen.
1. Cant understand your accent . 2 you actually self-praised "this guy is quite good" haha
I cannot endorse this car or Mercedes Benz styling, it needs to die now..
