Thank you so much for having me on the channel! 🤙🏽 It was such an honor to be in a video with Marko, Daniel and Spencer. They are all grade A guys and it was such a cool experience.
Thanks for having me on the channel, Marko and @nerdwallet Credit cards are great to take advantage of when used responsibly. Above all else, make sure to have a plan and treat them like cash or a debit card. Great advice from Chase, Spencer, and Marko here as well!
What these content creators don’t tell you is that the majority of their points come from referral bonuses. They make it look really great and easy, so that you’ll click on their links and sign up for these cards. Sign up bonuses alone won’t get you the lux travel lifestyle. The only other way to accumulate those kinds of numbers is wtih a ton of business spend.
In a way it is, but it depends. A flight to Japan could be >10x travel point value compared to cashback. So if they have $1000 worth of cashback (100,000 points/miles), potentially they could redeem the points in travel for MORE value ($1,500-$10,000+), hence the reason for travel credit cards. To give value in travel. These guys get most of their points from their own SUBs and referrals, informing others of their perks via their YT videos and when the viewer is approved, more points and miles post to their account, it gives them more leverage to book more/higher valued travel. So no, they may never spend that money in cash because they are not always using money. Their cashback points/miles has more value when redeeming for travel. It is money saved, but to your point, it should say how they “redeemed” $X in CCrewards.
They said it worke for everyone is also a lie. It won't work for most people just don't have enough time or energy to camp on your computet for those reward tickets
Are there other topics or finance creators you want to see in another video?🤓

Marko is working for Nerd Wallet now?? 😮
I would say that they "saved" $90,000 is a bit misleading, because they would never have spent it.

@@verafiedairmanThis is a lot of mental gymnastics. They wouldn’t have spent their own money on these tickets.
