- This video starts on the top floor of JR Kyoto Station. Then we are walking north along Karasumadori St to Shijo-dori St. We are going through busy Shijo Karasuma and walking north again along Kamo River. There are many cherry blossoms along Kiyamoachi-dori St. Our today's goal is Maruyama Park.

Trivia: There is something I noticed when I made the chapters above. All the English names of Kyoto's main roads are weird. Definitely they are NOT streets. They should have been translated "avenue". Karasma-dori, Gojo-dori and Shijo-dori are just too big to be called "street". But Japanese language doesn't draw a line between "street" and "avenue". So I guess the very first person who translated these roads into English has to be blamed!!!

The Kyoto station looks different than the one I remember (smaller) from my memorable trip in 2017. Arrived from Tokyo in Shinkansen. Thank you for the walking tour. Would love to be back in Kyoto in spring in the near future.
There are two station buildings in Kyoto. The station building shown in this video is for JR train line entrance, not for Shinkansen line. The JR station building
was rebuilt in 1997. Shinkansen line entrance is on the opposite side.

Westerners take note, even with this very populace city with a kazillion walk up eateries, there is not one bit of litter anywhere. The Japanese people are meticulously clean and clutter free. They would never impinge upon another’s tranquility by despoiling the environment.
I’m very happy to also see that there is a great deal of the traditional Japanese wardrobe still preserved in Japan.
Kyoto is so crowded everywhere in the cherry blossoms season as always.
Kyoto is alway a special place but it's even more special in the cherry blossom season. I didn't know it was so beautiful until I visited this time and I'd definitely like to visit again next year too!!! 🌸

Just for info, there are about 800 shrines and 1,700 temples in the city of Kyoto. I have been to Kyoto several times, and the number of
the shrines and temples I saw is around 2~3% of them.

Boleh nanya gak, memang di Japan burung dan ikan hidup bebas (tidak ada yang berburu), ada gak yang gemar burung ocehan dan penggemar merpati balap atau merpati kolong buat turnamen (ada gak turnamen burung ocehan / turnamen merpati) maaf sebatas nanya dan tidak bermaksud menyinggung siapapun 🙏
Saya belum pernah mendengar tentang berburu burung di Jepang. Namun, banyak ikan yang dimakan, seperti yang dicontohkan oleh masakan Jepang ``sushi''.
