Wondering if putting in more copper tubing would help speed up the heating . I want to do this for these upcoming holidays. Thanks for the video!! I was looking for something like this and I only found two videos.

Yes, or bigger. I find these ones a bit too small. Try out half inch of bigger.

thing about is it doesn't conduct heat. In the science of the double wall barrels of a solos etc is that the inner metal ring is heated by fire 🔥. That causes the cold air entering the lower outer holes to be heated by the time it exits the upper inner holes that then release very hot 🔥 air at the top of the fire causing the technique. Not sure that could happen with cinder block because it doesnt heat the air. It allows air flow but thats it. It doesnt heat that air like you see in the science of the solos diagrams online. Thats whats missing! I think i would like to buy 2 different size carbon steel rings or iron rings off Facebookarket place or a workshop and drill my holes in the inner upper and outer lower and seal the bottom and top rims. Just gotta figure out how i want to have a lifted ventilated base for under fire air flow separate from the barrell channels. Because i think from what i understand the air channels between the 2 barrels needs no leakage but yet a separate air ventilation source is needed at bottom of fire. Then of cource the decoration feature of this

Those tubes conduct a ton of heat though. Definitely recommend cutting them longer.
