Great conversation guys. I think that the problem with South Africa and indeed the rest of Africa is that the electorate are ignorant on what makes a good election candidate. Consequently, their vote does not bring about change. I think you guys could use your platforms to educate so that we stop voting for demagogues and idealogues but for people with sound ideas that will take us forward and can also be held accountable.

I love Podcast & Chill but let’s face it, MacG is ignorant & doesn’t read or follow politics. He’s not woke enough or possess the right sensibilities for certain topics, he also doesn’t understand his influencial power - BUT that’s what makes him endearing to his listeners because most of the youngsters are in his position. He speaks their language, at their level & has a great personality.
Your brothers are visionary. Please stay with this. Dig deeper into how to transform the psychology of the born free generation. Get them to get serious about the future. They will be the future managers of SA.

You make good points. Totally received. But people serving as apparent 'politicians' are actual first public servants. They should not be so difficult to reach. By Penuel or anyone else. Protected, yes. Because they are people of interest. But definitely must reachable by all means. I think that's what Penuel saying. The truth is that he has a platform, a does and they are alternative voice. That should be enough motivation. This is even more true when you realize that closer to the elections, the same politicians are willing to appear on any platform, and even pay to appear.

As an influential voice in the "nation-building" dialogue, we must scrutinize his actions, given what is at stake for the country. With that said, although I disagree with him on many issues, he remains an important voice in the dialogue.🙌🏿
I totally understand your comment. Especially as a black person who has a traumatic past with the white minority. Penuel's behaviour and pattern of thinking is actually typical of an "alternative voice". Not 'acceptable' newspapers and censored posts on social media. He does and says things that may be considered weird and dodgy. Even suspicious as you say. And that stands true. That's why he is on a long-format platform like RUclips. So he can expand on his opinion and show us what he really intends with his opinion and behaviour.
We are not happy with ANC but it is a domestic issue for African people to deal with. Allowing Herzov say voetsek on his platform shows that Penuel has serious problems.
