A HUGE thanks to Bryan who became a VIP today! Thanks for your support brother, it's very much appreciated. Had it been a few hours earlier I'd have been able to add your name to the list at the end, but in lieu of that I am adding it here. :) Appreciate everyone's support. It's been phenomenal - so glad to see folks are enjoying the videos. Now that we can shoot at the range, things are only going to get better. Whatever your level of support is, know that I am so grateful, and feel incredibly privileged to be a part of all of this with you. Thank you! :)
Love the kriss vectors, but with C-21, is the kriss vector 22lr on the banned list like the center fired variations? I know with some other guns C-21 says that all variations of a specific gun is banned so im curious if thats the case with the kriss vector or not.
C21 as it was introduced into law is a forward facing legislation that has no effect on the banning of firearms already on the firearm table that the RCMP maintains. That means that unless it’s designed and produced after the bill became law, it’s not going to be retroactively affected by said law.
I was thinking of getting this gun but if it's having issues after 400 rounds and needs a cleaning that is kind of brutal. Would you suggest the gsg 16 or gsg15 as a better option? I heard these gsgs can run thousands of rounds before needing a cleaning? Any suggestions I want to get a nice looking tactical 22lr
Yeah 400 is pretty limiting especially for 22 LR. Ruger makes a tactical 10/22 but there’s also plenty of cool aftermarket stocks for both the carbine and takedown versions. GSG is solid and yes, can definitely reliably run more rounds through before cleaning. And you get higher capacity mags (22 vs 10 like on the Vector or 10/22). However the Downside is that even though GSG have made improvements, they are still fairly cheaply constructed. and, for when you do need to clean them, you need to take off the stock as well as a very annoying bolt stop on the rear before being able to take the bolt fully out. If you haven’t already, use the link in the description and join our discord and the community can further help you :)
@@ModernDayInvestmentsto my knowledge the difference is largely cosmetic as GSG was sued by H&K for resembling their MP5 too closely. So they should be equal in terms of cleaning procedure.
Hi, could you do a video on how to ship non-restricted rifles from myself to myself. Im taking possession of my dad's rifles. Doing the transfer and then I want to ship from Qc to my house im Bc. Thanks
So yeah you can get 22 mags in drums for specific firearms. But mainly the reason is that these are 50 round mags pinned to 10, and because the Kriss is available technically as a "pistol" and that's why these are considered to be pistol mags, which means a limit of 10. Hope that helps.
He’s wrong in his answer, it’s because it takes glock mags and not proprietary mags, glock pistols are limited to 10 so anything that takes them are too. Gsg 16 is 110 round drum mags because they don’t work in pistols
@@sirham2191It has nothing to do with Glock. Read the legislation. If it’s a pistol mag, it’s limited to 10. If it can be used in a pistol it can also be limited to 10, just like the Ruger 10/22 mags are rifle mags which are limited to 10 and not more because the same mag is compatible with the Ruger charger pistol. The fact that you could use Glock mags is secondary to the entire reason mags need to be pinned - the reason is so that they comply with the 5 rifle / 10 pistol law, the law doesn’t care what brand pistol it is, as long as it’s a pistol.
They don't call 22 cal ammo "dirt cheap" for no reason. As we have come to expect from the CO an excellent review. Quick question; are you going to be at TACCOM?

Yeah buddy, great video. Thank you range admins allowing this man to operate :)
Thank you brother! Bit of a lengthy one but I appreciate the time spent watching as always :) Not to mention being in the champaigne club ;)
Awwwwww yeah !!! Canadian OP strikes again ❤ awesome video brother. Well worth the wait 🙏
:D Glad you liked it brother! Thanks for being here like you ALWAYS are. Much love man, appreciate that a lot!
That MASSIVE EJECTION PORT looks hilarious spitting out .22s 😂
Maybe it's compensating for something ;)
The 22lr version of this gun does not have the vectoring system btw......
Good to know, thanks for letting me know :) You are right.
Less moving parts = less maintenance

My understanding is the center fire units incorporate the cool recoil system, the 22 is a straight blow back.
You may be correct.
Thanks for the confirmation.
That's shirt your wearing on the range is hard !! Where did you get it from !
I think that's Kool or something like that? Not sure .It's a sweater I bought in northern Ontario (well, northern to me lol)

10 round pinned mags on a .22 is very sad, thats why I went with the gsg16 sbr, little bit more fun
Absolutely agree, I should go back to GSG myself, I miss it and I heard they made some great revisions to it.

That’s a very good topic and I’ll definitely put it on the list of suggested videos for consideration :)

So I've heard!
@canadianoperator Could you go over why the 22 mags are pinned? I thought you could get 22 mags in drums and stuff.

why are your mags pinned? Rimfire cartridges have no limit to the magazine capacity.
Because there's a pistol version that uses the same mags. Soooo 10 round pin mags 😢
Already answered this in another comment :)
Exactly.
Where did you get the mags ? Im thinking about getting on but can't find them
They are imported through IRG. Not readily/easily available in Canada. Pinned to 10.
Hmm about spr?
That the pistol version? Not available in Canada.

It was going great until the pinned mags. Fml.

Mailed mine on may 4th. Watching videos to find what I want. I think I want a kriss or a cz 512. Those gsg’s are nice but I’ve heard they jam a lot
@@mjrowen9563I wouldn’t recommend a Kriss. They’re cool but the novelty wears off quickly.
What would you recommend for a good plinker?
