I love watching an album come together. I have sat in the studio a few times watching local bands work. I knew what they were doing, but I had no idea how they were putting it all together. I just enjoyed watching the process.
This is just fabulous to hear! I could listen to every inch of audio tape from these sessions, and from New World Record and Out of the blue just for starters! THANK YOU for posting!
Oh wow, this is just incredible, thank you, it's amazing to hear Jeff's voice and all these pieces of music being put together. One of my all time favourite albums.
After listening to all the progressions of the intro, then they played the one that was used in the end...PERFECT. The Evil Woman intro is a beatiful piece of music.
I've known this album since childhood and NEVER noticed the intro to Waterfall is essentially the same composition as the Strange Magic intro???? 😑🤣 Lolol
@@snsnshhhs663 regardless, Time had incredible strings on it. Jeff might’ve thought he didn’t need the orchestra anymore, but the orchestra needed him.
I would buy an album just with this stuff on it!
@the milkman of human kindness I would buy an extra pint!..

Glad you enjoyed it! There's plenty of stuff that will be released eventually that I'm sure you'll love!
Face The Music is a truly great album. I always loved the little classic intros. Great to hear more of that kind of thing so many years later.

Louis Clark, was a brilliant arranger.
Wasn't too bad at exploring either.
Listening to this never ceases to move me.
Pleasure for my ears!
Also, I need this from the Discovery album.
Can't believe I'm hearing these supermen making music for my favourite album thank you so much

Creando las melodías más hermosas gracias elo
I am reminded of the tune behind the lyric "For as long as we live" in My Prayer by the Platters.

Interesting
An echo of Twilight perhaps?
I wish Lynne didn't get away from the orchestra in the later ELO albums.
Time proved he didn’t need strings
"Time" would have been better with an orchestra. @@snsnshhhs663
But they belong. @@snsnshhhs663
@@snsnshhhs663Time album had some great string arrangements regardless
