- I replaced the pcm 1794A for an ian canada ess mk2 dac and added IV output transformers, and further 3.3v shunt input for the dac and as an extra a Monitor Pi Pro.

Very nice build! I am in the process of building by own Ian Canada/Gabster TD1 system and want to ask you a question. As far as i can tell you are using stainless steel as shielding material. Do you know how it compares to using copper for shielding? Kindly Jonathan
@@jonathanekasplund2702 I have now changed everything to aluminum. In principle, copper does not help much for shielding. I have a hard time determining whether it helps or not. if you really want to do it right, take mu metal. isn't exactly cheap.

but it would be best to use MU metal, which is specially made for this purpose.
MU metal is not cheap.
