made improvement on the dac.

I replaced the pcm 1794A for an ian canada ess mk2 dac and added IV output transformers, and further 3.3v shunt input for the dac and as an extra a Monitor Pi Pro.

Very nice build! I am in the process of building by own Ian Canada/Gabster TD1 system and want to ask you a question. As far as i can tell you are using stainless steel as shielding material. Do you know how it compares to using copper for shielding? Kindly Jonathan

@@jonathanekasplund2702 I have now changed everything to aluminum. In principle, copper does not help much for shielding. I have a hard time determining whether it helps or not. if you really want to do it right, take mu metal. isn't exactly cheap.

I have since replaced everything with aluminum.
I can't really hear a difference with or without shielding.
but it would be best to use MU metal, which is specially made for this purpose.
MU metal is not cheap.
