It's great to see someone touch on some other horror films. I think it's an algorithm of what's popular and is getting views especially with the first time watching channels. I enjoy searching out under the radar movies and in doing so I come across hidden gems. Your picks are really good. My today's pick is Brainscan. Fun premise of controlling a killer through a video game and losing control.
My husband and I went to the theater to see The Exorcist when it was first released. I nearly got us thrown out of the theater. The over the top makeup, the voice, and the language reduced me to helpless hysterical laughter. That creeped a lot of people out.
Yeah mate , the Wishmaster movies are classics ..... same with the Warlock franchise which get overlooked too . Will definitely have to check out Fire In The Sky , must have slipped under my radar . Cheers .😉
I love 976-EVIL - I don't know why. I think it's because I watched it on USA: Up All Night one summer as a kid. They always use to play low budget films. The atmosphere in that movie is spooky - It looked familiar yet you didn't know exactly where it was, the special effects were still practical so it left a real sense of "how'd they do that?!" I thought the actors did well, too. The guy who played as the cousin Spike and Hoax
Nice picks of horror movies. And I would also recommend these good horror movie 1988 cheerleader camp & 1987 the gate & 1991 popcorn & 1987 anguish & 1988 bad dreams & 1996 bad moon & 2001 bones & 1986 trick or treat & 1989 psycho cop
House is by far the best movie on this list. Something This Way Comes is an underrated Halloween/Fall classic movie to watch. Mostly because its when Disney went into a foray in the 80s of darker edgier content and they have since scrubbed anything to do with that period.
Some of these i would never watch again, you never mentioned Hatchet 1 2 3 and Victor Crowley, so under rated but i believe is better than all you mentioned🤔
To me, the original Psycho is the best horror movie ever made. It brought the genre out of B-movie h**l. Psycho is over 60 years old and its still so beautiful and inspirational and scary.
I enjoyed the psycho sequels ... found them very entertaining and the third one had a lot of sleazy humor. Sleepwalkers was okay .... but not a movie to watch with the whole family around - if you know what I mean .... very awkward.
@@HunterBoldingVideo Sleepwalkers was a solid movie😁. The relationship btwn the mom n son was another aspect of dark work. The feline nemesis was a great bit too!
Best list YET🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Thank you for the kind words!

Brainscan is a great underrated one!

I love these lists people do. I learn how much i've missed (and i'm horror movie fan). Thanks. 👌
Thanks for the kind words!
Appreciate your enthusiasm, friend. House is really fun film. Two of my favorite underappreciated ones are Echoes of Fear and the Messiah of Evil
Thank you for the kind words! I'll have to check those two out, haven't seen them!

Cheers! I was gonna put Warlock on here, but wanted a nice even number for the list.

All great choices! I have to see Anguish and Psycho Cop still! So stoked for Trick Or Treat coming to 4K!
fire in the sky was the only movie that scared me as a kid i watched it back in like 1995 i was 6, its crazy! its worth watching !!
You watched that as a kid? That movie messed me up as a grown man! 😂
Whoever was involved in coming up with the movie "From Beyond," was Far From Beyond Normal.
House is by far the best movie on this list. Something This Way Comes is an underrated Halloween/Fall classic movie to watch. Mostly because its when Disney went into a foray in the 80s of darker edgier content and they have since scrubbed anything to do with that period.
Oooh, I haven't seen that one, I'll have to check it out.
Fire In The Sky, Signs, Dark Skies are all exceptional scary alien movies
I have to check out Dark Skies still, Signs royally messed me up, aliens are really scary for me, for whatever reason.
Satan's Little Helper doesn't get enough love.
I just caught that one on The Last Drive-In, I enjoyed it!

Great movie, obviously. The book, The Moment of Psycho: How Hitchcock Taught America To Love Murder is a great read.
Should’ve called it
“throw your money in the sky”
Mimic 1, 2, &3.
In The Mouth of Madness totally belongs on this list. It's like a great King film not written by Stephen King
I figured even if it's a lesser talked about Carpenter-film, it still gets talked about a good amount. Great movie though!
Some good ones however, I cannot agree on "Sleepwalkers." I hated that movie! Killed by a corn on the cob to the back? LOL
I enjoyed the psycho sequels ... found them very entertaining and the third one had a lot of sleazy humor. Sleepwalkers was okay .... but not a movie to watch with the whole family around - if you know what I mean .... very awkward.
Oh definitely very awkward. 😂
From Beyond is A-, the rest are D+ at best
At least we can agree on one thing!
Sleepwalkers is AWFUL!!! The rest I'll give you thumbs up on especially The Frighteners and Psycho 2 great movies!!!
I enjoyed it quite a bit, but I can see why people might not like it! Thanks for the kinds words nonetheless!

The Psycho movies stink except for the original.
I'm sorry you feel that way, I quite enjoy them for what they are.
@ we all don’t like the same thing. No issues.
