A legend. A gentleman. Maybe something that sums up how I remember Geoff: "If you are the fastest, you don't need to look in the rear view mirror... unless you want to see the obstacles you overcame..."
Down to earth, funny, successful, nothing got him down for long - he just held his breath for longer than anyone else if he had to... Inspirational.
Unbeatable - that's what Geoff was. Although it is the best part of 60 years since I last met him in a pool at Grey he was one of those forever unforgettable sportsmen
A gentle giant in all ways possible. We are going to miss you so very much. So glad we have records like this to hear your voice. Rest in peace our very special friend.
