The real determinant is who do they have to replace him? I do not think they have anybody to take his place and produce what Bolles has this season. Extend him for two years to give them time to find a replacement. Maybe they can draft one in 2025. Denver is probably not going to be drafting in the first 20 spots of the first round in 2025. PPP found Nix.
The idea that you can simply draft a tackle in the 20s and expect the same success as with Garett Bolles is simply misguided. Letting a legitimate, top-half-of-the-league tackle walk because of a fear that his contract will restrict your flexibility is a poor decision, especially when you are top 10 cap space in the coming years. Entering the draft with a significant roster hole forces you into drafting for one specific position, which is a risky and shortsighted approach to team management.
I do not understand this mindset that we don't even consider paying Garrett Bolles. If you let him walk, Matt Peart is your starting left tackle for the 2025 season. Also, claiming that New England would be looking for a QB in this draft is one of the dumbest takes I have seen. I don't care if you don't believe in Drake Maye, New England clearly does and they will not be looking for his replacement in 2025. To claim otherwise is a massive display of ignorance.
Bolles must be extended 2-3 years, never gets injured and it´s a solid tackle
Bolles is a grinder. Not too many turnaround stories like his. He's earned the love of Broncos Country

They pretty much have to. Acting like Bolles can be easily replaced is completely braindead.
Yes and his holding calls as well. Even though they're not as bad as they use to be.
i know he has had some bad things over the years but careful what you wish for

Extend Bolles and Bonito. This dude on the left saying bye is an idiot. Incredible LTs do not grow on trees.
He's solid, not incredible. And he still trips us up with his holding calls. But I agree we need him, pay him!
