Damn, I think I just fell in love with the Note FE. The design and novelty of it is something I admire. I also love the giant old screen bezels for some reason, probably because it makes it easier to use with one hand.
I got the Note FE black for my collection since 2017 imported from Korea, in box with all accessories and in brand new condition. It's a keeper. Sublime design, best Note design ever if you ask me.
I believe only LG U+ NoteFEs don't have the Samsung logo, because my Note FE does not have the Samsung logo on the front, and it's a SM-N935L, but my friends SK Telecom FE does say Samsung (I did install Korean Telecom software on my FE tho, cuz I hate the bloatware that you cant uninstall on LG U+ models)
I'm really surprised that no one talks about the potential or specifically what the Note FE was really intended to be as if the way the model labeling infers is correct, then the Note FE was the follow of the note 7. My reference or reasoning is as follows- the s7 or Sm-G930 and the s7 edge or SM-G935, it seems to reason that the note 7 -SM-N930 was the predecessor of the Note FE- SM-N935. What sparks my curiosity is what the possible name would've been or if the FE was the already a pre determined name and model. Yet with how Samsung rolled the FE was likely intended to have a larger screen to body ratio and minor enhancements, or possibly the tease and removal of the physical button and bringing the all screen design in. It would be cool to find something definitive regarding that concept.
Yes Tony U R correct. The Note Fan Edition was just a remake of the Note 7 with almost identical specs with one notable difference being the battery. The battery on the note 7 was bigger and the battery on the note Fan edition was much smaller. Now there were some people who rather than turn in their note 7's decided to take it to a cellphone repair shop and have them put a fan edition battery in it and their note 7 went on to work fine with no explosion or fire incidents
I also have a whole shoe box full of brand Note 7 cases I never used. Do you think I should sit on them longer or should I let them go? What's your opinion?
@@IntellitechMobile I will pull out the box and go threw them. I bought them back when I got my first note 7. Just kept ordering them (cases from Ebay)
@@IntellitechMobile Do you think I should hold onto the note 7? Or just let it go. T-Mobile sent a update to the phone and made it charge to only 80 percent. Then they sent another update to brick it. Was told that I could put a custom rom on it. Its in great condition (seriously)
@@IntellitechMobile as far as samsung Notes… i still have 2 note 5’s one Note 7 (2 empty boxes with all the accessories) 1 Note 8…. 1 Note 10…1 Note 10Plus

If I were you I'd keep it, but if you decide to sell I'd be interested if it's a good price since I can bring it back to life with partial functionality
Is there any cellular providers in the United States you still know of which support this particular model? I have one which I had gotten imported, but unfortunately was unable to find anyone to activate this phone under when calling around.
@@IntellitechMobile So, I tried mint mobile in my local area but they informed me that the phone is carrier locked and of an unknown carrier. I cannot seem to find this out, but I can see that you had made your purchases through the same Ebay international seller (having the same business card I received in my package), so I was wondering how you had gotten to that point. Thanks.

Still have mine. Brand new note 7. Sucks that i updated firmware. Only charge to 60%. But other than that everything works. Also using note fan edition(like new) as backup phone. Last update is from aug 2021. Bit slow and laggy to use in 2023. Bought them for $150 each back in 2019 in korea. Some guy is selling used fair condition note 7 for $1000 on ebay. Keep it your note 7. It will be collectable in the future. I display my note 7 and fe side by side inside trophy case.
Just curious if you have any issue connecting to wifi and or using a usa sim in the SK Telecom edition? I purchased a logic board that arrived as the N935S Instead of the N935F that I'd ordered and all seemed well but once I connected to wifi it switched to Korean and locked it up claiming it was lost or stolen yet there was no record of that attached to the serial or imei. Of course I was refunded for that, now I got another in that is the telecom and I've yet to connect worried of a similar result. Again there is no record of any block/ blacklisted etc but until I can be certain there isn't an issue with that model being in the USA im terrified to connect. Any info with your experience is greatly appreciated. Thanks I look forward to your reply @Intellitech Mobile
I had no issues with mine on Mint Mobile, but on Q-Link it wouldn't work as Q-Link doesn't accept international devices. Mint however does with no issues
@@IntellitechMobile ok cool, thanks for replying. I've had really bad luck trying to get a Note FE and was trying to be extra cautious. My last Note 7 was supposed to be the Note FE N935F but was in fact the N930F which was nice as I did enjoy it very much especially because I could put android 10 on it. But my shop was burglarized and they got My beloved Note 7 along with 45 other devices, and much more. So here we are again and similarly instead of the N935F it arrives as the N935S, I mean at least it is the FE but I'm sure you can imagine my disappointment and frustration, especially with my previous N935S experience ugh. Their Onyx blacks look better than todays colors they release. Its even better looking than the Note 10's aura black
Coral blue is soooo stunning, love that colour so much
Still my favorite color on anything
