Learn how Macbeth is a tyrant. Understand why Shakespeare uses this to try to dissuade King James from a vendetta against the Catholics. Consider the context of the gunpowder plot and ask yourself if perhaps Shakespeare might have been an 'equivocator', a Catholic who pretended to be an Anglican.

    These videos on the themes are very useful, but next time, can you refer to the location of the quotes that you use. Some of these quotes are hard to find (the entire series)
