This was a truly AWESOME movie! I only wish they would have been able to see things through to the end. I think they both deserved it. But LOVE IS LOVE AND LIFE IS SHORT.
Really like this one, did falter a bit for me after the scene between Caitlin ex and her new girlfriend for me the best scene in the film. I like that they didn't go down the route of Caitlin and Leah falling in love, they could have easily made Leah bi or a lesbian. This wasn't about sexuality but really about two lonely damaged young women just coming together and healing each other in a way. Again could have easily had them fall in love but it would have rung false. Good two main performances with a strong support cast. Well short overall although it's pretty straight forward in that sense. Did anyone else thing they were setting up the record shop woman as a love interest for Caitlin. As I said, the scene with Caitlin's ex was big stand out, as you can totally understand why her new Girlfriend didn't like Caitlin . The film never reaches those heights again after it. Interesting cast, Monica Zanetti who played Caitlin also wrote it. She went on to direct the film Ellie and Abbie (and Ellie's Dead Aunt) and created the Aussie Lesbian show When the Men are Away. Zara Zoe, who's play Leah is actually Lesbian in real life and is marrying the daughter of Aussie billionare, she's probably most known for that now. Elizabeth Blackmore, who played Caitlin's ex, has done most eye catching work. She did Evil Dead Remake and a lot of American TV shows like Vampire Diaries and Supernatural and other big American shows. Seems to have focus more on Theater in recent years. Jeanie Drynan, who played Leah's mum, was in Aussie Classic Don's Party and Muriel's Wedding.
One of the worst movies to ever be recorded. Crying and throwing up right now. Why the fuck were they Australian and why wasn't there no ending, also this is a simulation
I watched this movie twice
It's really heartbreaking 💙🖤
