Hey arttemis. Sorry to hear that your sight has gone so far downhill. I'm also having issues with my eyesight and seeing an Opthomologist myself tomorrow. I know what it's like dealing with unknown conditions. Keep your chin up. Also please check out Blind Surfer Pete Gustin. He surfs blind and is also a Major Voice actor. His motto is Find a way.

Wow, this totally came out of left field, and then some. At the beginning I was expecting mods to lose intrest, lack of community engagement... everything but this in fact. It's an admirable feet, at least I think so, dealing with the whole sight changes, doing a podcast with a tun of reading I might add... Even though you know a long time, that still doesn't change the fact that it can be difficult at times... Being blind from birth still gets me frustrated when things are made to be just out of reach, or impossible to complete or do... So I can only imagine, not know, but imagine how terrible it has to be living with a sight that slowly is getting worse. If there were such a possibility, I'd instantly send you all my experiences, call up some friends, and have them do the same, just to maybe, hopefully try and help out in any way possible. In case it doesn't show yet, I'm sort of at a loss of words, just because this to my mind is such a difficult matter, and one just can't go around stumping in the porselane shopw, like a bull being egged on by a red flag. To close then, I can only express my gratitude for the countless hours spent with you and the others, and be impressed that you pulled it off and through it all, with the difficulties at hand. Arti, take your time, do not worry about the tubes, your eyes are more important and will serve you more than a digital platform... So, try to get as much out of the doctors and life as possible.
Oh wow, I just came back to this podcast after a long time and I had no idea. I am blind as well with glaucoma and I completely understand what you’re going through. I’m sorry you’re struggling and I hope things are better by now!

My eye floaters get really bad + major itchiness and redness, If I don't get enough infrared and cold exposure to cool down my core temp. It could be a redhead thing. The initial cold sensitivity bump can be a bit counter-intuitive to overcome, but it's doable with gradual exposure. Blue light from screens has a thermally isolating effect on the body, so it can help you to stay cool but it will also make it harder to cool down. I recommend Iris Tech as a blue light filter. The sunrise is the best source for infrared, but led bulbs from Amazon work as well.
It's ok just take care of yourself and me and my family will pray for you to get better and I will be there every step of the way God bless you and your family
I'm glad you felt comfortable enough to tell us this. I'm also glad that your in a good place where you're taking this well and I pray that the Lord will guide you, your doctors, your support group and your job during this time with your eye sight. I would love to hear more about this condition in a episode and I'm just miss having to hang out with you and your crew through the podcast. I hope your getting all the love and support you need during this time with your eye sight too.
This sucks, I have a friend whom cerebral palsy and it severely effects her eye sight, she can only see a few feet directly infront of her and it’s terrible. I don’t go through it myself but having a friend who does enough for me to understand how bad this is for you. I hope that things get better for you!
