I, also, love that orange! The first TV station I ever worked for had opened in 1982. So it was decorated with a lot of orange. And when I started in 1993, it had never been updated. Even the cubicle partitions were carpeted and orange! Ahhh the good old days!
Sadly she passed away a little over six months after this video was uploaded (1/4/19). I also know her from a guest appearance in MASH (season three's Bombed as the Spanish nurse).

Hot Damn !! Can you IMAGINE the neck muscles it must have taken to support ALL THAT HAIR ??!!?? btw, unless I'm seriously mistaken, Louisa Moritz was an attorney !!
I've really grown to love Orson from his appearances here on MG, and I'm glad to see him filling in for Gary who is filling in for the irreplaceable CNR. Orson was funny and weird and delightful and entertaining.
I heard about that one. It's such a tragedy that he didn't live life to the fullest even though he was at the time 91 and already enjoyed life as it is. That and Betty White just days before her 100th birthday that never was.
We never hear the condensed version of the story of Helen's life. Either it was edited out of the original broadcast, or it was edited out at some later date for whatever reason. Apparently they didn't feel that they could just bleep out a short segment. I like hearing those brief bios, and I missed hearing this one. Helen happened to be one of the older contestants, so I can imagine her bio might have been especially interesting.
No, it's a halter top. Most women only wore them in the summer, though. It's part of her dumb blonde cheesecake persona. I think it's a bit much for an afternoon game show, but it's no more revealing than the tops of a lot of evening gowns.
Gene (when referring to saint Richard): "Once in a while, he gives a rotten answer. He doesn't often give a rotten answer because he's a very good game player." Gene, are we even WATCHING the same show!!!
Memories. I used to watch this with my mom. I was 11. But we started watching with Match Game '73. Betty White looked great.
Memories indeed. I used to watch this with my Grandma all those years ago. I think she had a secret crush on Richard Dawson, but wouldn't admit it.
Betty’s answer “ magic tricks” was the one best response

She should have acted as if she had something in her head, then. She really gets on my nerves here.
In a man's eyes....who cares
if only bretts brain was the size of her mouth😂😂😂
@@hellomynameishello2159 That would have been the perfect comeback to Brett's snarky comment.
I wish she would have said to Brett:
"You wish your blanks were the size of my BLANKS!!"

More proof that the 1970s were the pinnacle of Western fashion! The bigger the hair, the closer to God!
I wouldn't be surprised if Juanita was a televangelist for Jesus!
Louisa was in the movie "One Flew over the Cuckoo's nest" , small part but cute.
Wasn't the rest of her career in what would have been considered X-rated material in 1974?
Sadly she passed away a little over six months after this video was uploaded (1/4/19). I also know her from a guest appearance in MASH (season three's Bombed as the Spanish nurse).
I like her
You're the best!!!💖💖💖💖💖💖

I'm pretty sure she's wearing a wig!
Wow, between Marthamarie, Juanita, and Michael Landon there wasn't much hair left around for the 80's!
Panelists:
1. Jack Carter
2. Brett Somers
3. Orson Bean
4. Louisa Moritz
5. Richard Dawson
6. Betty White
Poor Helen. Maybe she would have done better if her grand daughter's name was Beth, or Betty, or Belinda, or something.
Since they're all celebrities, I thought for sure richard would have answered Vincent Price

I don't blame Louisa. For a long time, I thought the reason the panelists held the card on the nameplate was because there was a slot there.
Why always pick Richard???
Juanita hair has a life of its own

Right on both counts, that is one awesome head of hair

Orson Bean died yesterday after being hit by 2 cars while he was crossing the street in Los Angeles. He was 91 years old.
What a horrible and tragic accident. RIP Orson.

I didn't realize that Orson Bean appeared 200 times on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. RIP

i noticed that too, i wonder what happened.
I think Gene just forgot that"s all
No wonder it was less than 21 minutes long!😐
Is that a bikini top louisa is wearing I am surprised that let her on the air like that
Why? There wasn't anything obscene showing, just skin. Had there been, the censors would have prevented it from airing.
No, it's a halter top. Most women only wore them in the summer, though. It's part of her dumb blonde cheesecake persona. I think it's a bit much for an afternoon game show, but it's no more revealing than the tops of a lot of evening gowns.
Louisa dressed like that on purpose. She knows what kind of person Gene is and yet she STILL chose to dressed like that. WOW!
I don't see anything wrong with it
@@kristabrewer6736 There was nothing wrong on how Louisa dressed
I'm sorry Juanita. Even if it Was the 70's the hair is horrendous 🤢
then I guess you HATE Vestal Goodman
@@kristabrewer6736Do you ever STOP?
@6:54 ...Did Bret say, "My Pen is all F*cked" ???
And did Betty answer with..."Glad something is"....lol 😄
i think she said “funked” and betty heard it the way we all did.
She said “funny”
The only one alive is Betty White
And now from the MTM show as well.
Sadly, just days before she was about to turn 100, it was time to go meet with the other Golden Girls already up there awaiting her arrival.
Richard was such a diva. He always made Gene repeat the question to set up his answer.
There's Brett, always craving attention 😒
Lots of them did.
Well, at least she was the only celeb to actually match a contestant in round one!
You mean like saint Richard always did?
She's just jealous Louisa had what she didn't have.
What did Brett ever do except drink if it wasn't for Match Game she'd be broke
Brett had two children with Jack Klugman. That with working on this show for 5 years left her with a few bucks in her pocket.
Shorts? He wore more than one? The (S) is plural, more than one. 8-10-2021

How come Louisa's the only one without any clothes? Makes me wish more for Fannie Flagg to return because I like ladies that wear too many clothes.
"Marther".....HA! CLASSIC!!!! Though it should be "MAH ther"
Where's episode 352??
Windsor Kid being reuploaded now. Opening segment was cut. Had to edit it again!
Loussia dressed like that on PUPOSE! Why would ANYONE dress so provocativeness on this show knowing what kind of person Gene is?! WOW!
Gene was not anything like a pervert, lleech or any other words, only because he was happly married to Helen,
Prude much. Those who can do. Those who are too fat or ugly complain.

That wig is a bit much.
It happens to be her real hair, thanks!
@@kristabrewer6736 ok, then the hair spray is a bit much.
She belongs in "Spaceballs".
So was Kate Pierson of the B 52 s!😃
It just hit me where I had seen Juanita's hairdo before, it was worn by one of Dilbert's co-workers, seriously though she has beautiful hair
Marge Simpson?
