Nice video, mi anxiety seeing that left base at the edge of the table XD
Great review Spudd! The monitor looks sick 💯🔥
Thanks buddy
Great video dude I'm getting this monitor next month
I own and daily a c3 OLED. Let me just say playing on an OLED for the first ever time truly is brilliant. I mean it’s something that’s expensive but if you’re truly interested in pushing your console to its limits and seeing what it’s capable of I couldn’t recommend one more. OLEDs definitely are less dim than typical lcd panels though.
Im using a 49inch samsung odessey and planning to buy a 48 inch monitor. Is lg c3 better than the auros in terms of overall usability? My main work is video editng on adobe programs. Also does your panel work 10bit at 120hz?
@@oldtimer666 definitely. Gigabyte has some decent options for OLED but truly the best OLEDs in the industry is LG. Has and always will be. Also yes, 10 bits of color at 120 hz.
Love your setup btw 👍 ❤️
Thank you 💜
How do you get 800-900 nits peak brightness in HDR with this monitor? Real peak brightness in 10% window on my FO48U is only 550 nits. All reviews has same as my measures of peak brightness. What firmware version is your sample?
I LOVE this monitor
Hi! Type-C port is not only for charging. It can work as display port on laptops with thunderbolt. You should try yourself.
This Monitor is bigger than my tv 💀💀
It’s pretty big
sad
Thanks to spudd I’m educated more about monitors
Always here to help educate! 🙂
Hello, at what settings do you use the screen? (brightness etc.)
Bro I am thinking to buy lgc3 oled 4k as my monitor but I have to sit close 2.5-3 feat far from the display. Since you are using such big display as monitor i just want to ask will it affect my eyes or I will have eye pain or its comfortable to sit that close as its oled 4k so please reply or else I have to buy 27 inch lg ultra gear.
Wooww🔥🔥🔥🔥
the HDMI 2.1 ports are limited to 24Gbps bandwidth as opposed to the C1 which has 48Gbps.
Do you have burn-in already? I bought the same one and kind of scared to use Chrome for hours.
Як в цього монітора справи з ШИМ ? Чи не боляче очам?
My main concern is about burn in .. also good timing for video :)))) I have been watching this Aorus Fo48U in store with also 43 VA AORUS FV43U-EK, price is 100euro difference but as i said .. i lean more to 43inch version since of no risk for burn in. I would use it with my Pc strix 3090 and i9 13900k should do for bout just fine. What would you recommand and should i be fine with 48 one?
Ty in Advance :)
Also great video :)
owning fo48u over a year. no burn ins or some kind of problems.
I purchased both and decided to keep Fo48u, it just FV43U terrible uniformity, when displaying a white image, on its corner, it will display a kinda yellow ish colour, it is very noticeable, and I personally found really annoying. Good thing is, it is a va panel, no burn in issue, beautiful colours, and very bright compared to Fo48u, however, as I said, it’s uniformity of colour is a big concern to me. And speaking of the burn in issue, I personally own the monitor for over a year, with every day use (at least 2-3 hours, sometimes 6-7 hours), and no sign of burn in at all
Imagine buying this with the gimped hdmi 2.1 bandwidth instead of a lg c1 or newer 💀
Hey that f1 car is a live wallpaper ?
What's that wallpaper name
Can’t remember the exact name but it’s Mercedes F1 something on Wallpaper Engine on Steam
Looks like it’s been recently discontinued and the price went up, I got mine a few months ago for under 500 US refurbished. Also did a video on it.😉 love it connected to my Mac Pro 5,1 with rx6800xt, gaming is amazing via windows 11.
I was trying to order one
Omg 😳 ❤
would it be better to connect the ps5 trough the Display port if the HDMI ports tops at GB/s? and is the Usb-C port also valid for video or only for charging?
I own this monitor. Keep the PS5 on the HDMI. It can handle the 4k HDR VRR experience and handle it just fine. Maybe later when the PS6 comes out, the HDMI will be different but ehhh
Spudd, have you ever seen the british touring car championship. I think you would like it.
I have, I used to go every year to Donington Park before covid
@@SpuddGaming I go every year to donnington park with my dad (however this year we went to croft). Absolutely love it. Apparently there is supposed to be a btcc game coming out next year
just tried to order this and it looks like Gigabyte stopped making it
I need to priorities pc upgrade but want a 4k oled so bad aha
Hello, I also ordered the product. Are you satisfied with the product now? Are there any problems (burning, shadow, etc.)? What kind of product is it in general? I will use it for games and movies for an average of 4-5 hours, some days I will use it less. Do you think I made the right decision by purchasing the product?
I’ve been using it on a daily basis to play games, watch movies, TV shows etc. Had absolutely no issues with burn in whatsoever
@@SpuddGaming Would you recommend it for PC? I have a 4080 graphics card.
Does the auto-dimming annoy you? Especially on productivity?
I own this monitor and Auto-dimming is annoying as hell. Triggered multiple times a day and to fix it I need to open up a white background window.
@@BenHouston3D It cannot be turned off? Then this is a no-go.
is this worth it for just console gaming?
whats the thing in the middle of your setup 1:01
and the other things on the sides
I build your account AMSR pc 3500$ were nice performance 🎉
How does the auto brightness limiter feel to use? The LG Ultragear 48" has it too and many users mentioned about it being uncomfortable to use.
Are you referring to the auto-dimming feature? I trigger it multiple times a day while coding and it is incredibly annoying. The monitor gets darker and darker and then I notice it. I have to open up a bright window, like a web browser with a white page and then it fixes itself. I would not recommend this monitor because of that.
@@BenHouston3D Yea the auto dimming. Thank you for the feedback, seems like I won't be getting it😄
People be like "Did you notice any burn-in after using it for two hours?!"
Lmao
I wish I had the money 😂
Don’t we all😂
Yeah OLED is expensive technology
Good idea🤔..but im poor RUclips r😭
I just wish it had G-Sync 😔
What’s that

Honestly at this point because how big the monitor, it’s just a gaming TV
Size isn't what defines a monitor / TV
@@SpuddGaming then what does?
@@SpuddGamingtrue since some monitors are 55 inch😂😂
