I agree pastor Doug but I was doing a lot of things wicked before i got baptised and it was John the Baptist preaching at the river that made me just make up my mind to do it. I am not perfect but YHWH is changing me every day, I dropped off so much things .All glory goes to YAH, ELOHIM, SHADDAI, I AM, and so much more . Have a personal relationship with your creator.

I would like to talk about the part where the pastor said that he will not babtise someone that has not stopped drinking or smoking, shouldn't we leave that to the Holy Spirit's conviction of the person being babtised. The pastor at the end confess that there are still parts of his own life that is not fully surrendered to God yet he and the church expect people to give up those sins before they make a commitment to God through babtism. A little hypocritical I think. It's like telling people to to get healthy before they can commit to a healthy life style.
John the Baptist was born to not drink any wine I believe there is no greater man than John the Baptist born of a woman to be doing the Lord work in Psalm 76:1 In Judah is God known :his name is great in Israel ? in Acts known When they therefore were come together they asked of him saying Lord wilt tho at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto then its not for you to know the times or the season which the Father has put in his own power. Haggai 1:14 And the Lord stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel ,governor of Judah and the Spirit of Joshua the son of Josedech the High priest and the Spirit of all the remnant of the people ; and they came and did work in the house of the Lord of Host their God.

I am so surprised in this preaching that they don't do the vows for baptism? I am surprised, to me that's weird they still do that in my church. How can you let someone baptize without even know if they show publicly what they believe?
