Do like the LTV, but as other folks, noted they need to upgrade their gear. When Dean says the (loud) generator will power your AC…not any place we camp hopefully. Thankfully most places only allow generators a few hours a day. If you can pay this much for an RV it should have at least 400 amp lithiums, probably more if you use AC and same for solar and pretty much everything should run off the battery, but you can upgrade it later like you have in the past. All that said, these are nice rigs without being too big. About 1 foot wider than a van, but about 6 inches narrower than a lot of the other class c RVs out there.. Nicely done video! Btw are the windows either double pane or equivalent?
I still do not understand why LTV does not adopt basic new technology such as 12v compressor refrigerator and 12v AC. These two new appliances are nowadays a must have.
Oh my gosh we were so EXCITED to finally see you at the show 😊 loved the new 29ft keystone fifth wheel and Love ❤️ LOVE your new Unity. Might have to get either one of them next year, might have to start playing the lotto ….. but we dream big LOL - safe travels going home
Love the Hershey Show. From the big and super fancy to the little tiny motorcycle pop-ups; it is fun to see all the choices in one place. Personally, though I love all the gadgets on the inside of the center, maybe next video ;)
I was so glad to see and meet you both as you were walking into the Giant Center. Thank you for the RV reviews and camping information tips. Take care.
Loved the vid and seeing Dean. I disagree that the Arcadia can be towed with most 1/2 tons. It has a dry pin weight of 1520. Add several hundred lbs of hitch requirements, food, camping accessories, clothing, water, humans, dogs. And this could be 25-2700+ lbs real quick.
Bought our first Camper ever last year at the Hershey RV show. Got a great price and have used it three times this year. Thanks for Sharing… love your videos and your lot.
You met awesome people because you are awesome people. Picked up our custom built Class B Sprinter mid-October 2020 which has just under 30k on it now so, just getting to enjoy it. I have to tell you though, the LTV products look fantastic. While Dean was showing them off and your mini tour I'm thinking yeah, I could see us in that. Just like you said, stepping up a rung.
I'm jealous. The Unity with the rear lounge/Murphy Bed is what I want to purchase. Too bad it'll take over 2 years for them to deliver after you put a deposit down, from what I've been told. Congratulations on the new RV!
Love that brand new Unity van you bought 💞. Happy for you two guys 😍 Good job. I have noticed that the upgrades for 2023 model were answered for you guys. Love the engineering genius done on the Unity lately, very interesting. Gives the class c manufacturers more competition. Fuel milage wise, generous for parking, state and national parks welcomed. Looking forward on your next vlog. Maybe show us the new techs on your new rv 😁😁😁. Happy trails to the two of you guys 💖
Great video on show and industry. Even though many seem to deny a crash is coming, the show slowdown is a good indicator. I just got back to GRR from two weeks camping out west, and most of the RV dealers we went by were overflowing with trailers, some had many units parked out on grass areas. The combination of price increases, expanded production facilities, and borrowing cost, has the making of big correction for the volume manufacturers. Speciality manufacturers are in better shape having built backlogs with non-refundable deposits that will help them survive the slowdown. Curious if are sponsored by LeasureLife or if they honored your original order price/discount? FYI, we retired 2 years ago and have been looking since for our travel setup. Started putting deposits down for possible vehicles, which still have undetermined wait times, may be 6 to 9 months.
Glad to see such a large turnout for the show. Don’t try to tie us down! Our travels this summer we’re mainly on highways. Avoided the interstates. Found better views, smoother roads, very little traffic. Much easier on our 5th wheel.
Congrats, you must really love these units to go back again! You said add/plug your router in closet, so you dont BUY THE EXTRA very costly routers/TV options they try to sell you? I ordered the Ford Patriot in Feb, still waiting, but wonder if I will regret not paying the $2,600 for the wifi, don' t care about the apple TV part. I hope I get some wifi from the cab area? Or add have to add simple ROUTER? No wonder you love Hersey beautiful, wonderful weather for you all. Have fun! Thanks
A 29ft 1/2ton towable 5th wheel trailer that has a GVW of 11,000+ lbs. I'm calling BS to this, as "most" 1/2 ton pick ups are nicely equipped (meaning options) which brings their payload down to 1,300 - 1,500 lbs. Remember, payload includes everything like people, camping equipment and so on. If you max the trailer, you're over weight due to pin (or tongue) weight. RV sales people are like used car dealers - anything to sell a unit.
A lot of folks are just starting out so the cost of a larger version or 5th wheel aren’t something they could afford! Hopefully you will preview something us newbie’s can buy!
What has been your experience with the rubber hinges on those exterior storage doors? I keep reading about those hinges failing, that they are really hard to replace, and that some folks just give up and use gorilla tape on them instead. Our Airstream trailer had metal piano hinges on exterior storage doors, and they never failed, so what's up with this choice of what seems to be a poor material for something constantly exposed to UV?
I like the small 5th wheel but id never tow it with a half ton. Looks as if RVing for many is more about constantly spending money and upgrades than camping and sightseeing. Compared to a 5th wheel, a class B is very pricey, claustrophobic, ok for a weekend for two. This class C looks like a large class B. I've gradually come to a love/hate, mostly hate, relationship with slides because of maintenance issues.
Congratulations on the purchase of your new Leisure Travel Van. I recently purchased a new Entegra Qwest that. like your Leisure Van, has the Mercedes 3500 chassis with the 6cyl. diesel. Mercedes Benz specifies B5 diesel and warns that using diesel with a biodiesel content greater than 5% may harm the emission control system and void some parts of the warranty. I know you have owned other diesel-powered Leisure vans. How have you managed the B5 diesel issue. The real question is "what fueling stations carry B5 diesel?
I still consider the January RV show in Tampa as being the largest RV show in America. Why is the Hershey bigger? Marketing perhaps? According to both sites, Tampa has over 80K attendees where as Hershey has only 28K.
So what is the plan if you still own a home, are retired and buy a $150k plus Leisure Travel motor home, In Your 60s or 70s. Make down payment with , what 10 year financing? Just curious
I'd love some financial advice from you. You guys seem to have an unlimited amount of funds to play with and buy, buy, buy. Maybe you should show the rest of us how to afford your lifestyle. Hats off especially in this economy. You obviously did something right or were born into it.
This seems a little quirky to me. People have been waiting 2-3 years for their Leisure Travel Van orders and you take one home after only 17 months. Why would it be delivered to an RV show, then you drive it to the dealership in Holland, MI for final sale paperwork and detail. I don't think I've ever seen this kind of a deal before. Plus you just purchased a motor home that thousands of people may have walked through. That is a lot of wear and tear on a new unit that you have owned before. Sanitize and Sanitize
Congratulations on the new FX! May you have many happy miles and continue to take us along with you!
I thought they had this RV before?
@@ThatWhichISee Yes they had a previous Unity FX model and a Wonder RTB

The engineers have sure figured out how to put a lot into a B+ motorhome. You new one is very nice. Thanks for the preview.
Thank you so much🎉 Your new RV looks great enjoy keep living the dream👍
Comment: Thank you for sharing the inside of your new rv Leisure. Always love the layout, now the lightness is fantastic. Again TY!

Awesome video, as always!! Congrats on the new LTV Unity!!! I'm already looking forward to your first walk-through video!!!
Beautiful new rig! Lots of new adventures for you both in it! Have fun!
We must have missed you! 2 more days...so plenty of time! Thanks for a couple new ideas to see today!
Nice looking rig Jen and Mike. Waiting on our Unity TB.
Opportunities to explore more awaits the newbie ! Thank you for you sage advice and for taking us along when you also explore new places.
Congrats on the FX! We just bought a used one couldn’t wait 3 years for a new one!
Sure am glad you got yours before I got mine. Must be nice to jump the line.
Congratulations on your new RV we are looking to get the same one we were there Thursday looking at them love that model. Love your You Tube. Thanks
Absolutely love your new 2023 Unity!
Thanks for the quick tour!!
We love the FX. It has it all!

Mazel Tov on your new RV! Enjoy in good health.
Fancy new rv looks comfortable
Oh my gosh we were there Friday and wondering if you guys would be there too, sorry we missed you
Congratulations ! Beautiful rig 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

That was my first thought. I feel sorry for anyone who listened to that salesman.

You missed us, we were there Thursday.
My 18th show
My son and my wife and I are gonna go this year.
That's amazing that you got your hands on an LTV to take home from the show!
The driver and passenger seat heights didn't change. LTV just added that extra floor between the seats.
Comment. Sorry I didn’t get to see you guys! Loved the show!
OMG we bought our 2015 Winnebago 1706FB just like traveling Roberts ..at Fritz's RV in PA.. back in October 2014

Love the idea of the Lite Arcadia, but my concern is now with strength & longevity.
What are your plans for using 2 RVs?
looked for you at the show gonna be there sunday are you??
Yup

We love LTV. Guess the way to go is plan to buy at the show. We just can't do the lonnnggg wait.
It was a long wait! 17 months
What’s the show price for the fx and the wait period?
Glad to see such a large turnout for the show. Don’t try to tie us down! Our travels this summer we’re mainly on highways. Avoided the interstates. Found better views, smoother roads, very little traffic. Much easier on our 5th wheel.

so is this possible to still get some discount when you buy LTV or it will be window price.
Show me the Keystone RV's
I wonder if you would rather be taking home the mbl instead of the fx?
Enjoyed the vid, but was hoping for more than one of the trends happening there. 😂
Are there any class c toyhaulers? Currently only one on the market. I'd like options.
What happened to your 5th wheel RV?
I like the small 5th wheel but id never tow it with a half ton.

I would like to have the measurements of your Murphy bed in your new class C
Question How long can you take a loan out on a unity or wonder and what are the interest rates for these vehicles
"Largest RV Show" but you did not show almost any...!
Will you follow up with another video this time showing some RV's ?

Love the video. Show is neat! $10.95 for a walking taco is an absolute rip off!

🚘👍👍👍👍👍😎👍👍
Must be nice getting in front of the LTV line.
I ordered 17 months ago!
Re: Charley conversation…Please don’t play loud music when you are sharing a conversations with someone. I can hardly focus on what he is saying.

Outdoor TV with soundbar - hmm just what we need to destroy the peace and tranquility - a precious commodity these days.
Please turn the music down. Thanks
