The anime didn't show it, but in the manga it was highly implied that the kid is already dead (the anime removed a page/a scene where the mom and the kid is reunited in nirvana/after life)
I interpreted that more as a fading memory, a moment of resolution for Silky so she might be able to move on. The terrible reality of her daughter's fate, considering who took her, is probably far worse than death. Not to be a downer, but scum like those loansharks or whatever they were aren't above using a kid for profit. Happens distressingly often in reality. Some people are disgusting.
@@fivegearsYeah but that's not the point. The point is that her child having died, unfortunate as it is, at the Very least she's now finally reunited with her in a better place.
The kid wasn't shown to be harmed in the ep, but it's hinted she's dead. So there's nothing of the kid that will be shown later on. Acrobatic silky human death, committing suicide by jumping off the rooftop with one final dance was done wonderfully.
Okay, just something to nitpick i guess. I don't even remember if they called her a Yokai or not, maybe they did and i'm misrembering, but generally Ghosts aren't seen as "Yokai". They're both spirits, but Yokai usually have never been human to begin with, i believe. Could be wrong, but from the ones i know of at least. Granted, could be different in this anime at least considering Turbo Granny seems like she was a living person a long time ago but alas

I love that you didn't cry (almost maybe) in this episode, but Mygo ep 10 did lmao. Love your reactions to mygo and so far , Dandadan. Keep it up!
Thanks! Sometimes my floodgates just open and I have no idea what exactly triggers them...

So how did everyone like the first official episode of Dandadepression?

アニメは漫画より少しわかりにくいかもしれないですね、途中で出てきた親子に暴力を振るった男たちは借金取りです。
They subtle the jump off the rooftop..
love how they treat the audience. we r not duumb
Sorry to break it to you. But the kid died (even though it hasn't been confirm yet). The mother and kid soul get reunite at the end
