It is a shame that some people living closer to the theme park says aloud “Frisco residents
don’t want this theme park”! He doesn’t want this theme park for selfish reason, but he
should not misrepresent all Frisco residents saying that Frisco residents don’t want
this kid theme park. That community should be considered by Money magazine as
“2023 a community with most complainers in the USA”.

Frisco should not have already opened the first H.E.B.. Why Frisco try to open the second H.E.B. Two H.E.B. are going to make Frisco's traffic terrible. Let's ask Frisco city to close 2 H.E.B. for traffic reason. Theme park is the most important thing to Frisco residents since Disney-to-Frisco rumor widespread 20 years ago. Frisco and theme park should always link together. That's the reason I and lots of people moved to Frisco.

    Is this correct?
1.) Universal Studio kids theme park will create opposite direction ( from Dallas ) traffic.
2.) If any housing project ( apartments or related ), it will create Dallas direction traffic.
Some people has concern about east and west traffic so that I have to put the following explanation:
I believe, Dallas tow way is people's major concern. Also, there are not too many alternative for
Dallas tow-way. It may have some influence ( slow-dwon ) east/west road way or highway-635 and George Bush highway., there are more alternative on east/west. However, if this theme park goes to Dallas, the traffic
from east west maybe closer. Then, it is going to put lots of additional traffic to Dallas tow-way and I-75.
Dallsa Mayor has interest in this theme park and intend to get it from Frisco. He try to stir up Frisco's opposition.

  • @randyhu984

I believe that this Universal Studio theme park is a game changer.
It can make Collin county to be the center of DFW metro and
    Frisco/Legacy-west/west-Mckinney/west-Allen /east-colony become
the new center of DFW metro because of Universal Studio’s high brand.
High Interest rate slows the real estate market of Collin county
( actually, the whole country ) and makes values downward. This high
brand world class Theme park is going to bring California buyers
( especially Bay Area ) And world buyers focus on the real estate of
    Collin county.
In Collin county, $600,000- 1 millions needs to get high interest rate loan
If it is purchased by Texans. However, to most Bay Area buyers, they
Have cash for that amount. This high brand, world class theme park will get
Their attention and put money here.

This is amazing news that Universal Parks & Resorts is going to be building another theme park in Texas. I wonder what is the name of the new theme park going to be called. I also wonder if they will be able to expand the theme park in the future.

i think they should just go ahead & build a park for all ages for everyone to remember and enjoy😢harry potter marvel characters star wars and everything where the biggest state in the us we should have a park that everyone could have memories at without having to have a kid😢maybe hopefully it’ll get expanded or something in the future

    • @Collector3476

@@johnrondo5843 Maybe they could do that in a different location in Texas. This new theme park is just for little kids who are Universal Parks fans and I'm one of those fans. I understand that some people don't like the idea of having the theme park built next to their neighborhood but just imagine how much will little kids enjoy being in a Universal Studios theme park that was meant for them.

This is my comments to things happened in yesterday ( Jan. 7 ) Frisco city meeting regarding
“ Universal Studio theme park coming to Frisco”
A man from near-by newly established neighborhood said “This was dumped on us a month ago.”
They dump themselves and their family to Frisco recent years and try to destroy Frisco residents’s
    Long time Disneylan-to-Frisco dream.
    His wife said that
HIs wife urged city leaders to first fix the traffic problems at Eldorado Parkway and the Dallas North Tollway.
First all , to me, that traffic is reasonable ( especially during a city’s transition point ). This is a completely different
topic because the traffic to Universal Studio kids theme park is in totally different direction.

About to? I’ve been calling Frisco “New Cali” since the aughts. I watched it grow up from nothing but farmland to the vast city it is today with so much growth and development. I used to think of Frisco as Plano’s overflow, but not any more. Property values had been skyrocketing for years before COVID. Everywhere has, but Frisco seems to have the better balance of residential, commercial, and industrial. In fact, part of the reason it grew so much in the earth 2000s, was because my town was so resistant on any growth whatsoever.

  • @UmmYeahOk

I really really hope that this will be more like Disney in the fact that everyone regardless of age/size can enjoy the attractions. It’s great that there are places like Legoland. And even localized smaller versions like what they have in Grapevine, but pretty much if you aren’t 5yo or younger, you’re not going to enjoy it. So “families” not little kids/toddlers, that parents/older children can feel bored or awkward experiencing.

    • @UmmYeahOk
      @UmmYeahOk Год назад +1

@@randyhu984 yes, just like the Legoland Discovery Center that already is in Dallas. You have to build your first somewhere. If it succeeds, you build more elsewhere. They even already had a DreamWorks experience in the same town as that Legoland. No rides, just experiences, like character dining, meet and greets, and such. So they already had some knowledge if the branding would work there. I totally see this as being successful. But even the Legoland Discovery Center is successful. There are plenty of young kids, and when they get bored, a new group of children have been bored to replace them. And yes, I, as a mother, did feel awkward riding anything at both the discovery center, and real theme park.

Can 3-9 years kids without gun make lots of crime? You can’t use
Other adults big theme park’s crime rate applied to this small kids park.
However, if this land build apartments or condos ( due to Frisco has no
More lands, I doubt that it will build bigger single family homes here.)
The crime rate will be different! Especially, in Texas, people can bring gun.

I actually looked into the Hollywood location. The actual theme park is only 80 acres. The rest is studio for movies, so it’s really misleading that it’s over 400 acres. With the Texas park having close to 100 acres, it will most likely use 20 acres for parking and the rest will be the park with the hotel at the entrance. With all that said, it won’t be as small as you think! It just won’t be Orlando park levels! Even the one in Singapore is like 67 acres of actual park.

Doubt it. Epic Universe that's currently being built in Orlando FL was starting a few years ago and was supposed to be ready this year. Covid delayed it a couple of years. But essentially what I'm saying is this current park is larger than all of the current Universal Orlando parks combined and is only taking like 3-5 years. Being that the new Texas park is much much smaller, I'd imagine it could be ready in less than 3 years, pending no global plandemics happening.
Just my best guess. I wouldn't be surprised if they say it'll be ready by 2026.
