I am, as of 2 hours ago I discovered this guy, and he's hilarious, polite, firm but reasonable, and the drivers are mostly absurd liars, infuriating, unreasonable for no reason, sometimes hostile for no good reason, and if course, some are equally ignorant and arrogant. Although I've seen a couple of stops when the drivers were actually cool, calm, and took responsibility for their mistakes. Most of them shouldn't be allowed to drive (and honestly, probably close to 60% of human beings should never be allowed to drive) 😂
A driving instructor told me that people mess around with student drivers, could be a honk or cutting them off which is actually perfect for drivers like that to get a warning atleast.

I've driven nearly 2 M miles in my 62 years of driving. I have had two instances where the PO has given me a warning. These warnings have been a blessing. Keep up the good work Mr. Sloup.

Deputy Frank is the best. I’ve been pulled over for speeding more times than I’d like to admit. And always stay in the car and place both hands on the driver door. Impressed on how the Sheriff gave the prior criminal a break on his speeding to not make it criminal speeding. This shows that the Deputy does care about people and acknowledges the effort the guy put in to change his life around. Much respect for the Sheriff.
I had a lady who was furious that I had the audacity to drive the speed limit. She was tailgating, honking, and flipped me off. I was going 25 mph in a residential area, during a time when kids were walking in the area. After she screamed and flipped me off when it changed to two lanes, I said, "Thank you for your kindness, Ma'am."
I like it when Frank shows discretion & a little compassion. The last guy in the truck who had a lengthy criminal record in the past, but not anymore. "I won't cite for you criminal speeding, just slow down".

Frank is well mannered, always polite and respectful. People comment on his condescending and sarcastic attitude at times. But I like his attitude as a police officer, because these people for the most part keep doing the same thing, over and over again. Or they give the most stupid excuse. Or flat out mean towards him. I think this approach is the least confrontational approach while trying to get the message across. I think the way he handles himself is great. He never makes anyone angry, unless they come in generally angry already which usually indicates something wrong they've done in the past. The reminder that driving is a priviledge and not a right is always fantastic. Something people don't seem to get.
Also, kudos to the sheriff, Depuity Sloup’s sergeant and his entire command staff to have the foresight to understand what good a production like this is. Well done ladies and gentlemen of the Pinal County Sheriff’s department.
