Hi Andrea…👋… loved all of the items you got from the jumble!!!… think you bought very well…( I would have got some of them myself!!!…. ) The now completed fondue set… is amazing… the ‘universe is definitely on your side…’ Someone will love that … 😃🤞…and the Wedgwood snail shell paperweight.. very unusual…I have an elephant (red) and a Hippo (blue).. which I treasure … Certainly a small but quality selection…Hope you find more ‘goodies’ at jumble sales between now and the ‘Big C’ event … in December 🤞🤞🤞….😢
Great video, i was there too, you did better than me, didn't find very much atall, love the paperweight, i looked at the ikea lamp but thought it looked used, i just got a bundle of 8 Anne geddes dolls, 2 books and a CD x
I recently picked up a terracotta pitcher (Wedgwood) which was glazed on the inside and ‘raw’ on the outside. Apparently, that was so you could soak the item in water and when the moisture evaporated it cooled the contents. I wonder if the same would work for your ‘olive’ bowls?
I do have my ears pierced but no longer wear earings because it always made me have lumps in my ears even wearing gold ones , i do love a bracelette though, it is really weird i never had a nickle allergy or an elastaplast but now do strange. We has a family are wanting to know what to do with a massive collection of Royal Albert rose collection , My late Dad said split it into 3 I am solrry i do not have instagram
I would definitely split it out in to manageable lots. I tend to do lots of each type of plate… larger items like casseroles/tureens etc i list on their own, sometimes it’s worth pairing cups and saucers with teapots/coffee pots unless the pots particularly valuable on their own, sugar bowls and creamers make a nice pair, but could also be bundled with a tea set.
The charity shop probably threw away the forks into the sharps bin as they are not allowed to put them on the shop floor/ sell them due to knife legislation.
That shell paperweight is an absolute gem Andrea! A small but mighty haul 🤩👏😍
It really is, I love it 😃
Fantastic haul love the terracotta bowls x

More lovely finds. I wonder if that vintage fondue set was donated by Margo and Jerry??? Seriously, though, I enjoy watching and learning from you.
Don't know who Judy Collins is? She's my hero!

Le Creuset made Cousances cookware. I think they bought the brand in the mid 50s?
Oh really? I didn’t know that 🙂 Sadly I don’t actually think I have a whole set. One is missing and one seems to be different in design.
You have a nickel allergy and you married a Nick. Oh, the irony! Love the channels, to you both!
😂

That crossed my mind, that they may have deemed them dangerous… although they sell cutlery 💁🏻♀️
