Recipes:
Strawberry rhubarb jam:
3 cups strawberry
3 rhubarb
1 ½ cups sugar
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla
Combine everything in a pot and cook until it reaches 220F
Donuts: yield 8
160 g milk
9 g active dry yeast (or 7 g instant yeast)
52 g sugar
7 g salt
1 egg
350 g bread flour
42 g softened butter
Add yeast to warm milk to activate.
Combine flour, salt, sugar, milk/yeast and egg and mix for 5 minutes.
Add the butter and mix for another 5 minutes or until it reaches the windowpane stage.
Proof dough for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Roll ½ an inch thick and cut using a cookie cutter.
Proof for 30 minutes. Heat fryer to 350F.
