Hi, I want to power Six Hobbywing X8 motors on my DIY Hexacopter. I need recommendations for DIY Hybrid generator to power these Six Hobbywing X8 motors? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
Hello, discussion is here since pos t#107 fpv-community.de/showthread.php?60011-Bridge-Projekt/page11 The engine is a Zenoah ZG240 with removed clutch und a propnut from the zg20 installed. The Generator is a Turnigy G160 290 Kv brushlessmotor connectet via an ebay 8mm rotex-shaftconnector to the engine.Gas servo is controlled via Arduino based PID sketch (sketch in post #108) and only voltage measurement(Generator Output), the engine rpm is not measured. Also there is a Arduino based overvoltage protection: beyond 26,5 V the Arduino swiching a 1 Ohm dummyload via FET Transistor to the generator Output, to prevent a surge damage of the copterelectronic
A self made simple controller that measure the Voltage and control the throttle. The controller keeps the Voltage constand as possible. More details in my Video "Drone Gemerator"
SUper Nice Work !!! I wish I could try to make one of your plan .
no problem, you can contact me to Iam_Weasel80@web.de , i can send you a small summary for all about i know in building a hybrid drone
Thank you
so much for your such a super quick reply !
I will send an e-mail for you !!!
Thank you so much !!! Arigatou-Gozaimasu !!! Tak Very Much!
great work

What alternator engine did you use?
A Turnigy G160/ 290Kv, this is good enough for 24V/ 1000W Power
would you sell it? shipping on me to Germany.
VERY GOOD CONTRIBUTION, I AM INTERESTED IN BUILDING A GENERATOR FOR MY DRONE YOU CAN GIVE ME ANY INFORMATION

Hello,
amazing work, would it be possible for me to build one for my drone S1000?

Can you please explain how you made that controller?
mail to Iam_Weasel80@web.de, you get a standart message including wiring diagram, calculations with examples, softwarecode ect..
