Do it Leanne, it was super intimidating to me at first but not so bad when your doing it for the first time. A steep learning curve ill admit but you'll get the swing of things quickly. Good luck.
Thanks for the reply. I've learned to breed my own queens. If you don't want to do that you can ask your local queen breeder to buy unmated queens and use this nuc in the same way.
Hey Rob, if you were to make a 3-Way Mating Nucs you would not have to make special tinny little frames: see this beekeeper in Tennessee, Kamon Reynolds "Setting up Queen Castles". Some time ago I made those tinny little frames and they are a pain. At the end they just lay around and are not used.
Hey Mark, I agree completely with you. I ended up making a 4 way mating nuc out of a deep brood box. I like using that much better than this. Oh well it was a good winter project.
I like it! Starting to think about raising queens, but I know next to nothing. I’ll have fun learning.

I want to start a bee colony after watching this! So cool man!
Do it! It's an amazing hobby.
Best video yet! Incredible quality and prime content. So interesting, can’t wait to learn more.
This means so much. Thank you!
awesome build. Had the same idea myself...but not the woodworking skills. Still not sure where you get the 4 new queens from outside of buying them.
