At 13:09, first I thought, the ladder is breakable here. Because white's supporting stone seems to far away to connect white to. But then I played it out and noticed the supporting stone delivered an atari on one of blacks diagonal stones. Which is arguably worse because not only does the group escape, but you also lose some tempo.
I wish you made lectures still. They really are great and within a reasonable amount of time. Thank you so much for these. Best wishes!
This is a very helpful lesson and actually an invaluable resource given that even in 2022 there isn’t enough English language content online.
i love your style of teaching. it really gets down to the fundamentals of thinking and not just do this.
thats it, im sponsoring you on Patreon. You deserve it mate...

Seeing someone learn the ladder and the ladder breaker for the first time makes me feel nostalgic.
Awesome video for beginners like me!
Thanks for uploading this video!
no prob! :)
May be a stupid question, why is there no I on the board? GHJKL...
I was given a reason but I can't remember it anymore.
Because of the potential confusion with other letters (J or L), or the number 1?
because there's no I in go.....I mean team.........I mean atari.......
Thanks for the lecture!
This reminds me of when Dunkey beat Sky in Smash
I wish this game was more popular on my country.
