5 hours ago my father died for a fulminant heart attack, he was in good health, I know this band and I knew this song but I never expected to listen it for this horrible reason, NEVER. My father now is in his bed resting in peace. we are waiting for the doctor to declare this tragedy. I can t watch him cold, I can t stop crying. He is only 56 years old, he is a guitarist, a singer, a worker, a husband, a brother, a friend and of course The best father in the world. Rest in peace Pepito. Thanksgiving day 1990 I lost my dad to cancer. I was 23 My first born was due in January. He tried so hard to hang around till then but his body wouldn’t let him. I was helping him in the bathroom that morning and when I helped him to stand up from the toilet he grabbed me tight and hugged me for the first time since I was a little boy. No words, just a long hug. He passed on about three hours later. His only sons first son was born a month later on Christmas a month early premature. Two dates I shall remember forever. Miss you dad

Fathers Day coming in the UK on Sunday June 21, 2020. It'll be my first one without any kind of love from my son. He's taken to using drugs and seems to want my approval of his lifestyle, which of course i cannot give him. As a result he's not spoken to me for almost 3 months and has instead send abusive texts and painted me out to be a thorough monster, even though i raised him the best i could as a dad. Sad to watch this.
Hang in there. I don't know what he's on but, I got addicted to opiates back in 2013. I was a young dad at the time and it made me have an absolute breakdown when it hit me how far I had fallen. And I needed that because as long as I was able to cope, I was able to justify what I was doing to myself
I can't guarantee that he'll hit rock bottom but, if he does, he'll wake the hell up if he was raised right.
Hang in there. You never know what can happen. My prayers are with you and your son. I know what addiction does to people but there is a power greater than addiction. Never give up on your son. Every day there is a chance. From a man who knows.

Dads been gone a year now, and it's still tough. I was such a fuck up when he was around. Had to grow up a lot in the past year. Wish Dad was here to see it. I haven't lost my dad yet, but the last 5 years I lost time with him. We both missed out on a lot of each other those 5 years all because of he said she said drama. We finally reconnected back in May and it was like we never lost touch. He may not be the perfect person, but he's my dad and I love him. Never let drama come between you and the ones you love. It will cost you in the end.

I can’t pick a single verse in this remix as I am a single father of 7 kids myself and every verse hits every aspect of my life. Remember kings were not as alone as we think we are. Life’s a struggle and we get lost in that struggle, trust me I know. Grab your kids and hug them to find your way back and the reason why you do what you do for them it’s not in vain.

I still have my dad but one of the things that scares me the most is the day I lose him. Hes the reason I am who I am today and he makes me kind of excited to be a father myself. I always hope I make my dad proud because I wasnt really like him in many ways. Hes extremely smart, strong and always knows just what to do in every situation. I dont consider myseld very knowledgable, strong nor do I know what to do a lot. He taught me how to work hard and be humble, he showed me what working hard gets you in life. Im just scared for the day that he does pass because then I have no one to look too for advice and for help and that kills me. I love my dad for everything hes ever done for me and for the way he raised me and just who he is. I remember when he first taught me about cars when I was 8. I started workin on cars with him and he tuaght me how everything works. Now a decade later hes taught me how to build a drag racing car with him and I cant be more happy about it. I remember when I was a little kid all the times we'd watch TV, play catch or just go driving for a while and enjoy life. I make the best out of any time I get to spend with my dad cause I dont want to think he'll be leavin any time soon. He lost his dad, my grandpa about 4 years ago and that was one of three times ive ever seen my dad cry. Even though they may not have always had a good relationship your dad is your dad and its important to always let them know that even though you may not always get along you still have love for them. God knows I love my dad with all my heart. For everyone whos lost their dad im truly sorry, I wish I could share mine with you just so everyone can have that fatherly presence in their life.

I never lost my dad, but this song gets to me, hard. It reminds me of my Grandpaw. My heart goes to everyone here who lost their father I saw how it's effecting (it has a permanent effect) my mom when Grandpaw died. He taught me so much, from holding the door for the ladies, to tying my shoes, to that spinach is disgusting (I still can't eat it). He passed away when I was 14 from cancer, and my family went to go see him immediately when we got the belief it was going to be within the next couple days that he would be gone. During the first night, my brother and I were asked if we wanted to stay, or go to the hotel. We voted to go the hotel because we were tired. That night, I was woken by my dad and he told me Grandpaw was gone. What did I say?
"Oh, ok." and went the fuck back to sleep!
I'm mortified every time by that memory. I was mortified with myself by the moment my dad left the hotel room to return to the rest of the grieving family. I was so thankful he came back for us. But, snubbing my wise grandfather with essentially the cruelest middle finger I could have ever selfishly done is my biggest regret.
I love you Grandpaw, and I hope my current decisions make you proud. I practice everything you taught me daily.
