    I used to be able to crochet a lot. One year for Christmas, I made 5 mermaid tails for the young ladies in my family and one shark for a special young man. All I had to do is see the finished product to make my own. Last year and a half, I had to have three brain surgeries followed 6 months later a stroke. Now my left hand is all numb. It’s doesn’t take away from me enjoying watch others do it!

      @@marjoriefaisst4759I want to say yes to you because I’m left handed and the only projects I’ve ever encountered issues with was grannies squares but otherwise I’ve never had issues with “ right handed “ crochet & follow instructions to the T.
      I will be making this soon so I can give you a definite answer after that ((:

    Des fois cela m'enerve,je ne commente pas,le mépris c'est le mieux.
    Mais elles font semblant d'expliquer en perdaant du temps ou c'est facil et passant rapidement ou c'est difficile.

It’s truly inspiring to hear that you are finding comfort and joy in creating these beautiful sweaters, even in the face of such challenges. I’m so glad that the tutorial was helpful to you, and I love the idea of adding pompom hats to each sweater! What a thoughtful and creative touch for your friends' New Year gifts.
      Sending you strength, warmth, and peace from afar. I hope your handmade gifts bring smiles and a little extra light to those around you. Thank you so much for sharing this with me, and please know that you are in my thoughts.
      With all my best wishes,
      Mushyy

    What size hook and what kind of yarn does everyone use?

    • @rhanewman
      @rhanewman 2 месяца назад

      4/med/ww and a 3mm hook

    • @mewho8714
      @mewho8714 2 месяца назад +1

      I would go down a hook size from whatever gauge yarn you choose, especially if you have loose tension. You don’t want the v stitch part of the body to be too holey.

    Starting to put sleeves on. What do I do with that space between the two skipped V stitches as I'm going around to the underarm area?

    • @Mushyy_1
      @Mushyy_1  2 месяца назад

      @@harveydales2402 hi there, you would Crochet basically in every stitch(including the space between the two V stitches,). You should end up working a total of 8 Double crochets for the sleeves including the first 3 chains

  • @debpfleiger803
    @debpfleiger803 2 месяца назад

    I'm very confused starting the sleeves. Are we putting a dc on any of the dc from previous? It looked like the second dc you did was in the dc from previous v stitch

    • @Mushyy_1
      @Mushyy_1  2 месяца назад

      @@debpfleiger803 so once we attach the yarn in the chain 1 space, we then worh 3 chains(which we consider as 1st dc) then we work 1 dc in the same stitch at the bottom and the remaining stitches (the ones which we worked with green yarn) . We are working dc’s in all the stitches that we skipped in round 3

    Easily understandable tutorial. One suggestion however. When connecting to a small area (for example slip stitching), put the piece up closer to the camper so we can see exactly where to put the hook. Otherwise, very good.

      I know it’s a slow video because I have to cater to the beginners too. It gets really confusing if I go really fast that’s the only reason I had to make a slow tutorial.

      Tap the screen, tap the gear wheel, tap playback speed, you can easily alter the speed yourself.

      I appreciate the slower speed. I had a stroke earlier this year and am starting to crochet again and I found this very helpful and soothing.

      She's also doing this for beginners. Be patient and appreciate she considers them as well. It was slow for me as well but I found her voice so soothing 😊

      You can also increase the speed of the video in the settings to 2 X or skip ahead.
