    I have a 1975, have someone working on it (I'm not 16 anymore) it was My Mom's bike, I'm 33 now and ready to ride again!

    Beautiful bike! Kudos to you for preserving that piece of motorcycle history. Have you considered restoring a motorcycle in the future? I, for one would love that.

      I did restore the XL175 about four years ago. My brother wants me to restore his 78 Suzuki TS185..... maybe in the future. I'd love to restore an old Indian or something like that.

    Howard, hope everything turns out ok with your cancer treatment. You're one of the few I enjoy watching on here. Take care!

      I had a blood test today to see if I need radiation yet. Won't know until next week.

    👍Still looks new. Man, that drain plug is rough, huh?! Fresh oil is always a good feeling. 😀

      @OldCarAlley  Год назад +1

      It's just some staining on the plug, otherwise it's in good shape.

    Howard hello I hope I am wrong but I think you have either a nail or screw in the rear tire I noticed it when you were cleaning the underside.

      @OldCarAlley  Год назад

      I went out and looked. I found nothing in the tire, plus it still has the proper inflation in it.... I check it to be extra sure.

      @@OldCarAlley It appears at mark 5:06…near the tire pressure gauge along side the tire…something silver sticking out of the tire…maybe just a piece of junk…have a good weekend Howard…maybe my damaged diabetic eye playing tricks on me…lol.

      @@joegreen7616 I can see what you're talking about in the video, but I went out to the garage and rolled the tire several rotations and saw nothing. It must have been some crud or something.

    Hey Howard, i was trying to find a spark plug for my 76 Honda XL, and just wanted to verify the part number or at least the one that you use since yours is so cherry. Could you tell me which spark plug you used or where you went to order one from. Thanks! phil

      I honestly don't remember and the bike is stored at my brothers 45 minutes away. I do show it in one of the bike video though, just not sure which one.
