When I visited there in 1996 or 1997 no reservation system existed, you just drove there and went in. Much better in My opinion.
Not as many visitors to the parks in the 90s that’s for sure.

We went to moab last year and it takes like 2 hours to walk up to see delicate arch so we walked up somewhere where we would see it from far away

Another tip… save time and avoid the lines by entering through Willow Springs Road. Just make sure the vehicle you’re driving has 4WD.
