Next up Stoltman Vs Hooper at wsm! HYYYYYYPE
It’s gonna be HUGE! Big congrats on the win Luke 🏆 2 X Europe’s Strongest Man
Nice to see the Highland oak getting the win but it was a bit squeaky bum time towards the end. It just shows the decision to change his coach and training paid off
STOLTMANBROTHERS KILL IT THIS YEAR 💯 thank you Luke lets go Tom
#NEWZEALANDFAN🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿
This is almost too spicy!!!😂
you are both great and i live in Scotland as well you were great mate .
Strongman is a sport like no other. To see Stoltman finish his 13th rep and immediately turn to support his competitor and cheer him on. I can't think of any other sport that is like this.
Brilliant to see Luke back with a second ESM. Smaukstelis, what an incredible sportsman, totally chilled and happy, so close to winning his first ESM. And Oleksii, so gutted for him, really wanted to see him get back to his old best and then this, another injury.
Me too. A few years ago he was winning everything. Also gutted for Mateusz.
Aivars must be the most underrated Strongman. Shows up and kicks ass while being exhausted all the time and just wanting to go and lay down 😂
Sad for Oleskii but Very pleased for Luke.
Baby brother let him have one 😂 love them both ❤
@@ballsdeep5491 Right but I think they're referring to his injury.
@@vvoof2601 Absolutely . The Stoltmans and Oleskii have been friends for ages.
You do realise novikov was going as fast as he could and he done 4 stones in 21 seconds, even if he lifted the 5th stone and done it in 22 seconds (obv without the tear””and hypothetically impossible ” he would of had 8 points which would of took him equal to smak but on last event placing still ended in third
@@LukeDon7495 Yes I checked out Strongman Archives. Sad because it means he will not be able to go to WSM
Luke Stoltman is a hero to me. Never to be underestimated.
New to strongman, but it’s just miraculous to see these absolute machines not just competing but displaying incredible humility, humour, spirit and tenacity. These are real athletes, real men, terrific stuff 🫡🫡
Welcome, it's a fantastic sport!💪👍
@@TOM_OUTDOORS cheers, for some reason RUclips decided to recommend Mitch Hooper’s videos and now I’m heading deep down the rabbit hole … these lads are genuinely worthy athletes and role models
Welcome aboard, it's a great community of athletes and fans.
It’s an awesome sport!! Loz and Liz put out the best coverage of it too. You’re in the right spot
Smaukstelis was so chilled. He yawned his way through that comp and still made the podium 🤣 He’s was so funny.❤
He was 0.01seconds away from winning
Thats Aivars. He's always like that :D
@@idk13539 even 1cm on the stone walk
When Aivars is tired, you know he's gonna do well. 😅
Saw him at Gloucester SCL. He’s always half asleep.
Absolutely awesome to see all 3 of those guys podium. Especially Luke winning it for the second time. Love that guy. He got better. It looked like Big Tom was proud. The 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Brothers.
Nicolas Cambi getting top half in his first big international! As an aspiring 105 myself I always root to see 105 guys do good
Awesome from Luke too! Dad strength is too powerful!!!
Got a tear in my eye for Luke, couldn't wish a win upon a nicer fella. Congratulations brother👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
I was there it was a great night! A dead heat was definitely the right call for the Castle Stones with Stoltman and Smaukstelis. Even when they slowed it down it was way too hard to determine a winner. I literally do think their last hands came off at the very same time. It was insane lol.
what a night! great atmosphere! close competition right to the end and a emotional standing ovation for one of my favourites, Mark Felix. all the athletes were amazing.
Thanks so much for always being so great (& speedy!) with your BTS.
Crying tears of joy for Luke 🥲
So great seeing him at the top yet again ☝🏻🤫
🏴🥇🏴
39 AIN'T OLD!!!!!!!! BIG CONGRATS!!!!!!
Well done the HIGHLAND OAK is back 👏 🏆 🏆
Hope Gav gets back to his best soon, he's really struggled these last two comps
I couldn’t be happier for Luke. So many of us, including myself, thought he was washed up, but he came back strong. He’s had some of his best training for a while now was very determined very confident. Congratulations, Luke.
Y u soo ruud brother, only person u should write ✍️ off is u.......ure comments are a bloody write off!👎👎👎💀☠️💀🤷🙈🙈👁👁
Washed up? You should never describe anyone as washed up, perhaps 'slowing down'.
@@PaulBloomlittledevil it’s a figure of speech. I never used the term before. I thought he’s shoulder was beyond repair. I never wrote a negative comment about him. I just “thought” he was done. I’m sure you’re perfect so you correct others. I wrote I couldn’t be happier for him.
You must be a real piece of work.
@@bobz4968 You need to learn how to communicate with people, we don't need people like you throwing insults around in a chill place like this
@@TheKruxed take a hike. You don’t know me. You must be very busy setting people straight. Move on jerk.
Awesome coverage guys, and im very happy for Luke, Avars and NVKV...congratulations guys
Respect to Oleksii!!!
Looks like it was a great comp and close to the end. Ondřej is looking like he has a very bright future, not since Belsak and Novikov have I been this impressed
It is so awesome to see Luke doing so well this year, having a child can change your whole outlook and focus on life, I think Luke fatherhood suits Luke
It's safe to say that Luke is back! Thank you so much for taking us behind the scenes, Loz and Liz.
Let's goooo! Three great guys on the podium!
Aivars wanting todo rock paper scissors to see who won the stones was jokes could have determined the winner
So happy for Luke!!
So pleased for Luke, gutted for Olexi I don’t want to see anyone injured. Luke’s strategy on the deadlift nearly backfired on him, he timed it to do all 5 and was so close but just couldn’t get that last weight over his knees, that meant he was one of the first out on the Viking press, so had very little rest. Obviously he’s a mountain when it comes to pressing but I feel he could have got another 2 if he’d either gone faster on the first 4 deadlifts or lifted the 5th, therefore giving him an extra few minutes of rest. Either way at 39 to come out and win Europes strongest man is a massive feet and I couldn’t be happier for him. The young lad (sorry I would spell his name wrong) has so much potential, he would have podiumed if he could have lifted that last stone, he was slower than Luke and Aivers so would have dropped the half a point lead he had on them but he is definitely one for the future. What we have learnt is nothing is a given until all events have been done. The stones have always been notorious for mistakes (I would though have preferred to see the heavier stones, this is after all Europes and I believe less chance of injury as competitors take that split second longer to make sure they have got the grip etc). Olexis may not have got injured but he also wouldn’t have managed the last stone. The right result in the end. Well done to Luke and all the competitors, what a great show 👍🇬🇧
Great job on the production of this video. Always raising the bar.
Love how close this was
So happy for Luke. What an amazing transformation. Prayers that Novikov will heal and be back soon.
That look Oleskii gave Luke on the podium was special, you could see he was genuinely pleased for Luke. Legends all.
Awesome coverage Liz !! Awesome comp !! Sad for Oleskii !! You can see the love between Luke & Him !! ❤ well done Luke !! New coach & your hard work brings home the Gold ❤
More beautiful, heartwarming, authentic coverage brought to us right away. Thank you Liz and Loz. Your videos show the reality of the sport better than most official broadcasts.
What a show. Before it even started we got a pick with Hicksy, then the "Heroes" video almost had me in tears. The competition itself was unreal. Delighted for Luke. Awesome tribute to Mark Felix. Then after the show we got to meet Mags, Kaz, Mark, and then a cheeky pic with you. Made my day. Massive well done to everyone involved. One of the best nights of my life. Stopped at Kirkstall abbey on the way back to the airport and bumped into Cambi. 🙂 Sincere apologies to Aunty Liz, I think I just handed you my phone to get a pick with your hubby. Apologies if I was rude.
So happy for luke, thought it was in the bag until he couldn't get the 5th deadlift, a great comp and the scores were so tight. My heart goes out to oleskii as he would have won with the ultimate come back.
Great behind the scenes futage and a quick turnaround for editing etc
So happy for Luke
I was in the crowd with my dad and I loved it but the Stoltmans will never loose they always come back looking like a champ.
It all came down to the stones. Brilliant comp. Very good livestream .
Luke flexing the dad strength
Happy for Luke and Aivars but gutted for Olexi! Wishing him a very smooth and speedy recovery!
Great tribute to Mark👏👏
With the similarities of events from ESM and WSM then Luke, Aivars and André must have gotten a huge confidence boost for a few weeks time.
It's all group dependent. Get mitch, ragg, tom etc in a group and it's hard
This competition was epic!
23:00 I don't think Luke appreciated Rauno's banter 😂
it was Aivars Smaukstelis that was saying no lift x3 🤣
@@chillypeper777I think you're right 😂 I almost just assumed, phone speakers aren't as clear as TV clearly
Cheers Liz for getting this out so quick! Show looked like a good one. Great to see Luke in form again. Gutted for novikov!
The amount of people and the enthusiasm they showed for this event is my favorite part. The sport seems to be growing and these athletes are some of the rarest people walking earth and they deserve all the attention they can get. I hope that eventually there will be enough money to go around and not have to work other jobs just to get by.
Cambi deserves more invites after this performance
great show...........great result..............
Good stuff. Thank you.
Thanks, very exciting! So pleased for Luke.
Luke is such an inspirational person. Even though most written him off and his getting on in his years he keeps grinding and working hard and looking better than ever this year. He fully deserves this he worked very hard in prep for this competition.
Awesome job Nick!!
I was really rooting for Aivars. This would have been a great notch on his belt. But happy for Luke too.
Another great video! Got shivers at the end.
I can honestly say, for me, it doesn't matter who actually wins, it's always a good showing from all of the competitors that I'd be happy for any of them to win
It's so endearing to see how supportive the Stoltman brothers are with each other. What a performance by Luke! 💪🏴
Great competition!
It was great watching it live! I am a highschool student and I can confirm that this was more dramatic and stressful than my final exams. I am so grateful that the judges gave both Luke and Aivars the same points for the stones. You honestly can't tell who was first. I am now leaning towards Luke. Give me 10 more replays and maybe I change my answer and then again...😂
3 fine individuals right there...Congratulations lads well done
The video intro goes so hard!
Thic Nic is so fun to follow. I remember watching him back before his Open days and the absolute unit he's turned into is incredible. Nic for WSM!
Congratulations Luke!
Another superb vid from Liz. Top work both of you.
Great job Luke! Always one of my favorites, never count him out.
Never never underestimate the High Oak luke stoltman. I am a very proud scot & knew luke could do it
I feel for Smaukstelis if it was decided in his favour, he’d of won on stones being better
Yep, looked like Aivars put up 5th stone before Luke which would've given him the tie breaker win and Championship.
@@Mark_4_NowI love Aivers but the rule isn’t firat stone up, it’s first hands off
I feel for him too but I'm so glad it didn't come to a tie on points
@@levibunyan5091 Thanks for the reminder, makes total sense now.
Well done Luke. Well deserved fella❤😊🎉
So great to see Luke up there. Very very happy for him. I was rooting for him. Thanks for posting this
so happy for Luke, amazing💪
we are already blessed by the presence of saint thiccolas in the first 30 seconds
Well done Ondra Fojtu to event wins👏👏
Super happy for Luke! I hope Oleskii wasn’t hurt too bad and has a speedy recovery.
No one wants to win because someone else got hurt.
Exactly the people I thought were gonna be 3 of the top 4 for SURE! So excited for Luke to still do great at international comps despite being so close to 40! Happy Novikov still podiumed, hope he can recover well
Lozzy always looks like he's in mental prep to do the show when he looks around.
And hells yeah Luke Stoltman. I knew he was winning this.
Gutted for Oleksii but happy for Luke!
Great job Luke you worked for it
I was there - it was the best atmosphere! Certainly the right decision to call a draw in the stone off. It was impossible to determine whose hand came off to the millisecond on the frame by frame footage.
an amazing, crazy night. the whole show was unbelievable. can't wait to go to another.
I predicted the 3 podium finishers, just all in the wrong place. Well done guys
Watched Luke and Aivars' stone run at 0.25x speed - both literally took their hands off at the exact same time. What are the odds of that? 😂
What a podium!
Awesome one of the Best Strong man, puts other before himself.. true Champion
Aivars cheering Rauno "fassstrerrr" is BFF vibes
So happy for Luke, really sorry for Olexi and really pleased at how well Ivars did. Such a close competition.
I know how much it means for luke and im really happy for him. also, those stones with ivars... what the hell even with 0.25 speed i could not tell who was faster that was close
Great podium, they're all winners in my book. Very happy to see Luke on top again. Cheers.
Congrats to that spicy big bro lil lukey
Congrats to Luke, what a close finish. Hope Oleski is OK injury this close to WSM sucks.
brothers who are 2X Europes and 2X WSM .. that's insane.
Pls get a Loz interview with them and their Dad, even a quickie. especially the angle of father's pride for Stoltman senior and for Luke winning as a dad.
.. hits me and probably other men in our cold dead hearts
Buzzing to see Luke reclaim the title, you can see how much it means to him. Has to be one of the closest giants shows I’ve ever seen.
Absolutely gutting for novikov with his bicep. Hope he heels up quick. He did very well to come back after a bad start as well
Also fojtu is going to be a monster in a year or 2. Crazy that he’s that good at only 22 years old. He’s definitely going to be a problem for people at wsm in the groups
Great to meet you both again. My wife was so happy to see Auntie Liz (most beautiful woman in the world)
Look forward to the live tonight.
Liz’s footage is stellar. I prefer it to most streams.
Awesome comp. Luke smashed it 💪 I hope Oleksij will Ok for WSM 🤞
So sad for Oleksii😢 Gr8 work all! Big congratz to Luke!
Aivars leeeetttsss goooo!!!!!
Nicolas deserves to be in WSM 2024
Nah, Mitchell Hooper all the way.
Hooper is already in wsm , what are you talking about.lol
Looks like he is injured... doubt he even competes.
@@curvinh6289 Read it wrong, thought the comment said “be WSM 2024”. As in win it.
@Bassic27 lol that's definitely not happening this year, but yes with thor not doing wsm mitch will more than likely win, his only possible problem is tom and you never know how he will perform
So happy for Luke! Such a great competitor and an even better person! Hopefully with this win he'll quit throwing around that "R" word. I don't even think he's reached his full peak yet!
That Nicolas Cambi what a competitor
Happy for Luke, but i dont need slow mo to that Aivas' last stone went up faster and settled down faster. I'm not an expert on the official rules, though.
Nice seeing Tom there for Luke chuffed for Avars as well
So proud of Luke 🥹
Luke is one of the classiest athletes in the world thoroughly deserves this and more, total Legend
