There's a lot of revisionist history going on here in regards to the Fedor segment. Arlovski was the consensus #2 HW on earth when he fought Fedor and was on a 5-fight streak including wins over Ben Rothwell (via KO), Big Country (via KO), and Fabricio Werdum (one of the top 5 HWs of all time). Also, Tim Sylvia was ranked #3-5ish at the time of his fight with Fedor, so the narrative that Fedor was cleaning up UFC "scraps" isn't exactly accurate. Not to mention he was scheduled to face Josh Barnett for his 3rd Affliction fight, and Barnett was still a very high level HW at that point in time. Also it's worth noting that his loss to Bigfoot Silva was a doctor stoppage and had Fedor been allowed to come out for the 3rd round he very could have won that fight. The Dan Henderson loss speaks for itself and could happen to absolutely anyone. Werdum was, and continued to be for a long time, one of the best HWs on earth so there's no shame in that loss whatsoever. I may just be nitpicking here but this kind of narrative may dissuade new fans from learning about Fedor, which means missing out on one of the most important/influential fighters in the history of the sport. Yes, he really is one tough guy, he beat DJ (125 lbs GOAT), Cruz (135 lbs GOAT), Dillashaw, Moraes (who was a very dangerous fighter at the time he fought him). He definitely deserves more respect than he gets.
He retired way too early though, and his most significant wins have asterisks next to them. Many thought he lost the decision to DJ, while TJ at 125 was a drained skeleton of himself, Marlon was good but he's a Brazilian bully who wilts after the 1st round, Cruz was coming off a 4 year layoff to injuries and well past his prime. He's not recognized for that because he wasted his prime, far moreso than Khabib did.
GSP lost his title to Matt Sera as much as I love the guy and I think he’s the GOAT for a lot of the reasons you’ve said in this video ie 6 years as champ 9 title defenses etc etc BUT he lost his title and that should disqualify him from the list
There is a mistake in the video. Matt Serra defeated GSP for the WW belt on April 7, 2007 and lost it back to GSP in the rematch on April 19 2008. In the video it says GSP was champion from 2007 to 2013.

If you watch UFC 75 (Anderson Silva vs Dan Henderson) and UFC 82 (Rampage vs Dan Henderson )....his Pride belts were on the line as well. Both bouts were "unification" matches....therefore he did loose his Pride belts!
GSP is the goat in my opinion due to the length of his reign and number of defenses, but Khabib is the most dominant fighter I've ever seen. That dude put a look on his opponent's faces while he was smashing them that you almost never see, like a combination of fear and resigned depression because he was just so much better than they were ready to deal with. If he had stuck around to fight a few more contenders like Charles and Chandler, I'm very confident he would have continued to win, and he'd be in everyone's goat conversation too if he's isn't already.
Let's not pretend Woodley or Lawler would have done much at all against GSP. He did lose the match with Hendricks, but his history of rematches for challengers that beat him was 100%, and Hendricks didn't exactly go on to a stellar run after that fight. He came back after years of inactivity and beat a champ at a weight class above his own. He was just tired of fighting.
I would agree if people called khabib a quitter becuase he quit the sport while in his prime, But that not what happened, Khabib Retired becuase of his father died and His mother asked him to Stop fighting, Meaning it wasn’t his fault that he retired, It’s becuase hes a man of his word and he loves his mother and You can’t make any argument or hating on that, In fact you really can’t say anything nor making excuses that he retired cuz He’s afraid/while in his prime
Talk of Michael Chandler or Charles Oliveira being a threat to Khabib doesn't add up. In my view, neither of them would have been a real threat, it would have just been more padding for Khabib's record. I genuinely think Justin will rip that belt from Charles's cold dead hands. Tony Ferguson at the time of their originally scheduled fight would have been the only real challenge of Khabib's time, but definitely not in his current state. And talk of GSP, well, who would have been switching weights? If GSP fights and welterweight and middleweight, that means Khabib has to move up to welterweight surely. Khabib is the greatest lightweight of all time and GSP is probably the greatest ever welterweight. So that gives GSP the advantage, but also, for either of them to switch weights doesn't really determine any legacy.
Frank shamrocks career, to me is the saddest. He was the best fighter on the planet earth at that time. He could fight today and atleast keep up. No one else from that time frame could do that. Absolute forgotten legend.
That dog abuser was juiced to the gills, he wouldn’t have achieved the same success today with USADA around. Sure he would’ve beaten a prime tito and prime wanderlei but that’s really about it. Prime Jones and Silva would’ve whooped him bad. Adesanya would embarrass him via a striking Clinic worse than what cung le did to him and Glover would KO him
I think there's a special place in hell for people like Jon Jones who not only squander their blessings and talent, but also laugh while they do it. What a waste.
My 10 guesses if this means no loss to lose the title… 1) Royce Ufc3 forfeit? 2) Joan Jones stripped. 3) Tj at 135 stripped. 4) Fedor HW Pride title? 5) Hendry at 125/135 vacated. 6) Gsp at 170/185 vacated. 7) Bj Penn 170 stripped no loss. 8) Sean Sherk 155 stripped no loss. 9) Cruz 135 stripped to injury never lost it..but failed unify attempt vs Garbrandt? 10) Frank Shamrock Ufc 199lbs vacate?
Not to forget Petr Yan. In a fit of mercy, he gave his belt to Alya after the latter survived the kiss of death. This loan will soon be terminated and the shameful truchsess will be deposed upon the return of the king.

As much as Henry Cejudo makes me cringe, but ppl always talk about how Khabib/GSP leaving on top, they forget that Cejudo as well who defended both belts and left on top on his terms. Gotta be recognized more for that too.
Yes, he really is one tough guy, he beat DJ (125 lbs GOAT), Cruz (135 lbs GOAT), Dillashaw, Moraes (who was a very dangerous fighter at the time he fought him). He definitely deserves more respect than he gets.
@@e.a.poecrnimacak354 yea agree 100 percent and he overcame adversity in that fight vs Morales too
He retired way too early though, and his most significant wins have asterisks next to them. Many thought he lost the decision to DJ, while TJ at 125 was a drained skeleton of himself, Marlon was good but he's a Brazilian bully who wilts after the 1st round, Cruz was coming off a 4 year layoff to injuries and well past his prime. He's not recognized for that because he wasted his prime, far moreso than Khabib did.
what fight is this from at 9:33?
Matt Serra took gsp's belt temporarily but I was not impressed with his performance so it doesnt count
Do top 10 fighters who put it all on the line (ala Francis)
I never lost my belt in my backyard wrestling league. Those kids thought I would stop just because I turned 27? Fools!
Imagine thinking that Thiago Santos beat Jon Jones... insane
GSP lost his title to Matt Sera as much as I love the guy and I think he’s the GOAT for a lot of the reasons you’ve said in this video ie 6 years as champ 9 title defenses etc etc BUT he lost his title and that should disqualify him from the list
agreed, threw me off when he popped up
We all have never lost our belts the only difference is that we are not known champions.
Jon Jones has lost his belt more than any other champ 🤣
Also took it back more then anyone else
@@aitnobetafaq Randy Culture won belts back more without being stripped multiple times.
And he lost it for good against Reyes
He never lost it in the octagon, he only lost it because of himself. That shows how good he is. So good, that he himself is his greatest opponent.
@@e.a.poecrnimacak354 he lost to Reyes 1000% and debatably Gus and Santos
There is a mistake in the video. Matt Serra defeated GSP for the WW belt on April 7, 2007 and lost it back to GSP in the rematch on April 19 2008. In the video it says GSP was champion from 2007 to 2013.
Y’all missed Chael Sonnen!!!! Damn y’all really didn’t get this one right…
I think having the result overturned into a No Contest because of a failed drugs test definitely counts as losing the belt
Germaine de Randamie and Nicco Montaño are missing from this video
it’s 2023 and bones is coming back at 250 in a lil over a week :D
"Looking to put nurmagomedov on his back right away" a phrase no one would ever use again in history.
Matt Serra might have something to protest here.
In an alternative universe khabib and Tony fight five times
wait didn’t GSP lose to Serra ?? Or am I having hay fever
Khabib was one of the first fighters I ever saw fight in the UFC... and I was hooked ...
forever a khabib fan absolute legend!
Um. You’re only scratching the surface, kiddo
UFC needs a MOP commentary team for at least a fight night
I want the top ten belt designs judged by this community video. Not to suck ass, but the community logic as a catch wrestling nerd sounds like a fun video to watch to see what they pick without negative judgment.
Trice C vs Volkanoski, make is happen uncle Dana.
He’s gotta earn it first, just like the rest of them
@@jeromeinthehousesowatchyam4237 the same way the Korean Zombie did? Or the same way Ortega did? Ortega fought once in 2 years and title shot
He ain't going to do it. Because he knows he ain't going to defend it.
@@Lexotanin yes, like they did, you’re trying to use KZ as an example like that didn’t happen out of circumstance, so nice try there, but with Ortega, Volk just fought Max and Brian was coming off a win and his only loss was to Max, and with there being no other contenders, it made sense, so yes, like Ortega and KZ🤷🏻♂️
@@jeromeinthehousesowatchyam4237 the only reason Ortega got a shot is because he is Mexican and they hope to gain the market. A fake Mexican at that, pretty sure Mexicans in Mexico don't relate to him. I am a Mexican myself from Mexico.
Henry Cejudo "taking out" Demetrious Johnson is a bit of a stretch it was a split decision
I disagree I don't think khabib left anything on the table literally had a perfect MMA career undefeated and retired in his prime that's every Fighters fantasy career
I agree.
It’s more that he could have fought tougher opponents to be the undisputed GOAT like GSP, he could have went up to face Usman a fight Usman wanted but he never did while GSP had a dominate LW career and than went up after 4 years lay off to win the middleweight title to be put in history as a two weight division champion.
That is one thing that gives GSP a leg up in the GOAT debate hard to beat someone when they have been a two division champion and the other never even tried.
How many defense's did cejudo have?
Finally some respect on CCC's name.
After watching Ngannou VS. Gane, I'm convinced Cole Konrad probably could have beaten them both on just wrestling alone.
Dunno... Cane Velasquez was a master wrestler and got folded in half
@@ko2ni Cain's knees were made of paper machete by that point in his career. Cain's back and spine were destroyed by that point. Cain in 2010 would have had a chance but the size difference would have been an issue. Cain was not a big heavyweight. Konrad was a huge guy. Styles make fights. Konrad was also a better wrestler than Cain was. Konrad is a nightmare match up for both Francis and Gane. That being said, we dont know how much better Francis's wrestling defense has gotten against a high level wrestler. He could possibly defend the takedowns.
If you watch UFC 75 (Anderson Silva vs Dan Henderson) and UFC 82 (Rampage vs Dan Henderson )....his Pride belts were on the line as well. Both bouts were "unification" matches....therefore he did loose his Pride belts!
Khabib fought tin cans before the Ufc. Prove me wrong….
1 fight before his ufc debut he fought a dude who was 0-0 making his AMATEUR debut, khabib was 14-0 as a pro 😭🤣
Yes and he beat top guys like they were cans as well
Watch his fights before the ufc and come again youre gona prove yourself wrong
@@Jidds so what ?
@@Jidds khabib is two time sambo champion with over 200 sambo matches amd 29 pro mma fights wtf are you on about.
Didn’t Jones test positive for Turinabol & Lesnar Clomiphene? I could be wrong
It's stated in the video. A cheat is never a champ.
Please make best ufc fighters never get the belt
Till THIS DAY I believe Demetrius Johnson beat Cejudo
Miguel Angel Torres beat DJ (back in the BW days)
@@davidday2373 he may have beat marlon moraes too
Gotta do a list of best double champs
There’s like 3 good ones
Worth mentioning, Shamrock also never lost the WEC belt he won earlier either in his career
We don't appreciate some of these accomplishments enough
Mcgregor logic. If I never defend I can never lose my titles
Whittaker vs GSP would have been one hell of a fight
*TOP 10 UNDEFEATED MMA FIGHTERS NOW!!!!!!!!!*
#1= Chael Sonnen.
Haven’t started the video and I can already see Khabib
4:34 one of the biggest violations in the history of mma youtube
Adesanya would embarrass him via a striking
Clinic worse than what cung le did to him and Glover would KO him
Domonic "Khabib is wearing himself out beating Connors brains out his ears onto the canvas" Cruz
You forgot to put vacant. The greatest fighter ever.
Didn’t GSP loose to Serra
Jones lost to reyes. The fact he won because he walked forward more is ridiculous. When he was outstruck and reyes threw more atrikes overall.
McGregor didnt los his belt too. The ufc stripped it from him.
I think there's a special place in hell for people like Jon Jones who not only squander their blessings and talent, but also laugh while they do it. What a waste.
And still how tf this channel still didnt get million subscribers

Cejudo ran away from Alixander the greate is all I know he saw him coming but as soon as Petter Yan was mentioned is when Cejudo was out
My 10 guesses if this means no loss to lose the title…
1) Royce Ufc3 forfeit?
2) Joan Jones stripped.
3) Tj at 135 stripped.
4) Fedor HW Pride title?
5) Hendry at 125/135 vacated.
6) Gsp at 170/185 vacated.
7) Bj Penn 170 stripped no loss.
8) Sean Sherk 155 stripped no loss.
9) Cruz 135 stripped to injury never lost it..but failed unify attempt vs Garbrandt?
10) Frank Shamrock Ufc 199lbs vacate?
